Nestled in the small town on the edge of her estate, was a store front that had long been abandoned. When Aingeal would go visit her few tenants, she would pass by the boarded up windows, thinking surely there was something that could be done with it. Finally bordom got the better of her, and she got a couple of the villagers to help, and after some time the storefront was cleared, new glass panes were installed, and some curtains were hung. A small bell hung on the door to alert to new customers.
The inside was lined with shelves, dusty and dirty from years of misuse. Setting Amara and Rania to the task, the girls cleaned every bit of the shelves. A sales counter was off to the side. Over in the corner, beneath a window that let in a healthy bit of sunlight was a small table, lined with cloth, a vise also attached to the table. Some small tools littered the table, it would serve where Aingeal worked on her gemwork. There were two rooms off the back, one filled with an oven, a sturdy wooden table and many mixing bowls littered the shelves in that room. The other room also had a sturdy wooden table, with large knives and bone cleavers, along with a grinder attached to the table. A couple large hooks hung from the ceiling to hang carcasses from.
Once all her equipment was brought to the store front and installed, Aingeal could open for business. Of course she would have the villagers come visit to buy there wares, but she would work also for the town and the crown. Almost ready to open for business, she took out a piece of chalk and slate, designing her menu board.
Can:
Cut gems upon request
Set gems into weapons (have some stock of unencrusted weapons already)
Dog and Silly food
Can source other items upon request
She wasn't happy with her menu board, but would work on that another day. Placing her sign to open she went to work in the butchery while waiting for her first customer.
Balerion was traveling as he was wont to do and he saw something from high up. Someone was tinkering about in on old store of some kind. Curious to see what was going on he decided to go in for a closer look. Upon landing he could smell Aingeal. He thought this might make for some kind of amusement and he walked up and knocked on the door. It appeared to be open for business, but being a dragon and unfamiliar with many human customs he waited outside for someone to come attend to him.
Amara was playing in the front room with one of her dollies. She could hear her mama singing softly while she was in the one room. Amara knew her mama was cutting meat. Mama said that she couldn't come in the room when mama was cutting meat cause Amara might get underfoot or hurt. That suited Amara fine. Before mama went in the room she told Amara, You mind the store, be a good helper and let me know if someone is here.
Amara was a big helper, and watched out the window once in awhile. It was snowing and she hoped mama would take her to play in the snow. Maybe even to throw more snowballs at the King! she thought to herself.
Knock KnockKnock!!!
Amara dropped her dolly and jumped. That was a LOUD knock, she thought as she peered out the window. Oooooo the dragon! she clapped happily. Mama was still singing so she ran to the door. Mama always told her to be carefuls around the dragon, cause he liked to throw her up in the air. Amara liked it when she got tossed around, and she didn't think the dragon would hurt her. Besides, she knew her mama would be very very cross and hurt the dragon if something happened.
Amara flung the door open and bounded out. Hiya Mr Dragon! she smiled up at him, her red curls bobbing. Did you comes to visit me? she asked, cause of course everyone that comes to see her mama really comes to see her in her child mind.

As she bounded out the door, the dragon flew off. Amara flounced down on the bench in front of the store, her lower lip starting in a pout. Amara knew grownups had to do that once in a bit, but she was bored and wanted a friend to play with. Mama didn't have many customers yet and Amara just wanted to help. It was a bit dusty this day so she grabbed a rag and started to wipe at the windows, thinking she would help mama and hope that someone would come to visit.

Balerion couldn't resist a game of hide and seek, and as soon as the child thought he was gone he leapt from the side of the building back to the entrance.
I did come to visit you. Have you been behaving of late?
