Akos wandered around the grand hall, making sure each candle was lit and all the final touches had been touched in an appropriate fashion. When she had suggested they host their joint anniversary/engagement party at her new home in North Mogwire Shire it hadn't occurred to her that there would have to be planning and preparations made. As much as she adored the act of partying, Akos truly hated when she had to be the one to plan the event.
It was truly an event to be celebrated though and preparations were important, if only for the smile that it would bring to her beautiful wife's face. It hadn't been the easiest of roads travelled, but they had made it 21 years and darn it, if that wasn't worth celebrating then Akos didn't know what was. A wry grin edged it's way onto her lips as she supposed the addition of a husband was something worth celebrating as well. It wasn't the most conventional of arrangements (if you'd told her a few years ago that she'd be marrying a King she'd have laughed in your face and told you to maybe lay off the ale for a while), and yet here they were. Zuan was loyal, attractive and adventurous – hell, Akos had his blood running through her veins, it only made sense that she should put a ring on it too.
She nodded in acknowledgement as one of the staff she had hired for the evening passed by. Akos had made sure they would be well paid for their time, especially since she had actively encouraged the inhabitants of what she had lovingly come to call ‘The Mog’ to participate in the festivities. The concept that she now had a responsibility to these people still managed to boggle her mind at times, yet the citizens had welcomed her into their home so she would welcome them into hers – however many could squeeze into it’s walls anyway.
Not for the first time that day, Akos recalled the chastisement she’d received when Aishe first set eyes upon the place. “Too small for their family” had been the theme of the discussion until Akos had gently reminded her wife that their children were, for the most part, fully grown. The idea that the home might be a venue for large social gatherings, as with many things, had never even occurred to Akos and it was with much dismay that she had admitted – if only to herself- that the home was indeed a touch on the cosy side. As such, Akos had made sure that the gardens and surrounding lands were also prepared for the festivities. A series of bonfires, tents and other items that the staff had told her would be necessary had been erected around the property. In truth, Akos wasn’t all that bothered in regards to the set up – as long as there was enough alcohol and food to go around.
Akos looked at the supplies being set out in the great hall and knew that there was more being set up outside. Yup. There was definitely enough to go around.

Mages blast it, Aingeal muttered. She was late. A lot late. Raina would bring Amara later, but Aingeal had to get to the party. Her drinking buddy was counting on her to arrive. Aingeal quickly got ready to head to the event.
An hour or so later, Aingeal was in the wagon, her horses pulling her to the location that Akos had told her. Tying up her horses she grabed her overcoat and wrapped it around her before heading inside. There weren't too many people inside, it was quiet almost funeral like. Aingeal shook her head. Dropping the cloak into the waiting servants hands she made her way to the door way.
The emerald green dress showed off not only her eyes but her figure. Her red hair was braided simply down her back, long enough to reach her waist. The off shoulder dress was form fitted to the waist, then flared out, swishing along her legs as she walked. Only a slight limp was noticable, as her altercation with TK left her slightly wounded but she wouldn't let it stop her.
Picking up a glass from a tray that was being carried by she downed it in a gulp and called out....

Akos had tried her best not to let the empty manor get to her, but the sympathetic looks from the staff she had hired and the sounds of merriment from the common folk drifting from afar had finally gotten to her. She'd actually put effort into this, put on her best pants and shirt and not even her wife and fiance had arrived. Rather than let all the food and drink in the house go to waste, she had instructed the staff to make merry with what was available; some had taken her up on the other, while others decided to stay focused on the jobs they had been hired to do - despite being assured they would be paid regardless.
Akos downed her 5th shot of fire whiskey and slapped a blonde haired lad firmly on the back as he spluttered his way through his 6th. Somehow she and some of the staff had managed to find themselves in a drinking competition and so far she'd been impressed by their fortitude. With a wry grin she congratulated the man Nicely done Dougall! A familiar voice drifted through the halls and Akos whooped with excitement Marianna, you're up next and don't think you can cheat just because I won't be looking!
She dashed off with a delighted laugh to greet the first of her official guests Aing! You're late! But apparently so is everybody! Akos bounced towards her friend, grabbed her by the arm and started to drag her towards the main hall, Come on, we've gotta get back, I don't want Smith to get too far ahead of me!

Come on, we've gotta get back, I don't want Smith to get too far ahead of me! she heard her friend say as Akos grabbed her arm.
Aingeal let Akos drag her into the great hall, where it appeared a drinking game was going on. What do we have here? she asked, looking at those assembled. Aingeal held back a laugh. She could see the headline in the news tomorrow...."The Countess and the Baroness, out drank by the peasants....." and she shook her head. That just won't do... she muttered to herself.
Aingeal took a seat next to Akos and a shot quickly appeared before her, the golden liquid brimming the top of the shop glass, only physics keeping the liquid from running down the side of the glass. Giving her friend a wink, she picked up the glass to down it quickly, turning it upside down when she was finished. The whiskey created a warm fire in her chest, that spread to her limbs. Licking the few droplets left on her lips she looks at Akos.
Are we the only two that were invited? she asked as two more shots were poured and placed in front of the pair.

Re: [ORP] Hitchin' the Vardo (it's a party, let's get drunk!)
Ella had not exactly been planning on attending this party. She was still very much new to the social scene of Fenia. But since Nisha had insisted that Ella be her date to the party of her daughter, daughter-in-law, and fiancé, she figured she would attend. What was that worst that could happen?
After giving Rosalie a kiss on the forehead, she disappeared into the shadows making her way to the estate. Ella was still very new to traveling through the shadows on her own. For a long time, other creatures in her family would just drag her along with them. But now Ella was mastering the skill on her own, which was good since it was one of the most basic shadow powers. So now she arrived outside of Akos's manor in North Mogwire Shire, wearing a dress she had made herself, granted she may have used a bit of magic to help her. But she looked well dressed nonetheless and ready to attend a party where the King and other nobles would be in attendance.
She made her way to the door where a servant ushered her inside to the main hall where she found Akos there with another woman she knew, though not well. Akos and several of the servants appeared to be having a drinking contest. Ella tucked a dark lock of her hair behind her ear, her lips twitching into a slight smile.
"Hello everyone," she said, though the room was mostly empty, "Akos I see you have started the fun on your own. Has your mother arrived or shall I start drinking on my own?"

Re: [ORP] Hitchin' the Vardo (it's a party, let's get drunk!)
Akos was about to reply to her very bestest drinking buddy when another voice made itself known. With a grin she hurriedly drank down the shot that was in front of her, Nope! It seems everyone is late, or maybe not going to show up. She shrugged and made sure that the staff prepared an extra space in their drinking circle before standing to greet her newest guest.
Akos didn't know the lady before her all that well, but her Mother had wanted to bring the dark haired woman along as her date. Which was perfectly fine considering the party was technically open to all Fenians. Ella! It's super great to see you again. Without thought to propriety Akos placed her hand on the woman's back and ushered her forward. I figured Mother would have picked you up before getting here? Akos made a mental note to discuss the finer details of how to woo a creature of this realm with her Mother, as she encouraged Ella to take a seat among the group.
She took a moment to make proper introductions, sure to include the staff as she did so. It just wouldn't do to leave out those who had so generously given of their time to join in the merriment. Bouyed by the addition of a new drinking victi...partner, Akos almost bounced her way back to her seat There'll be no solo drinking on this night Ella! We may be few, but we be mighty and we have a whole room of liquor to conquer! Akos picked up an almost empty bottle of fire whiskey and poured one for the entire group before lifting her own in a loud toast, To new drinking buddies!

Re: [ORP] Hitchin' the Vardo (it's a party, let's get drunk!)
An amused look appeared on Ella's face as Akos hopped up from her circle of drinking and made her way over to Ella. Akos didn't seem to much mind personal space as she placed her hand on Ella's back -- not that she minded -- and steered over to the ring of creatures all drinking. She shook her head as Akos mentioned that she thought Nisha was picking her up.
"No, she said we could meet here. I thought I was fashionably late but it appears I'm rather early compared to other guests. Where is the King and your Wife?"
Taking a seat in the circle, she reached for a shot of fire whisky from one of the staff and downed it. Then a second. And then a third. She had to at least attempt to catch up!
"Now, Akos...if end up in a ditch you get to explain to Joanna that it was your fault I was so very drunk!"

Re: [ORP] Hitchin' the Vardo (it's a party, let's get drunk!)
TK was wounded. He hurt from head to toe from the blasts that Aingeal had hit him with. He didn't remember much after the third... or was it the second blast hit him and disarmed him. He awoke the next day with Ethan bringing in a fresh picking of klah and an old batch of brandy. He mentioned something about a party being held nearby and TK just nodded. The next day Ethan had Oblivion ready and TK was feeling a bit better. TK bathed, dressed, and put on some good clothes. He was not going to miss a party like the one his steward had described. He managed to get out the door and off he went, albeit a bit slower than he was accustomed to going. He wondered as he rode if Nikola would be there, he hoped she would, but he didn't know if she went for such things.
Finally he arrived, apparently late, but he had arrived. As he dismounted he saw a servant approach him and then back away. Perhaps it was the grimace on his face that the servant mistook for a snarl, or perhaps it was TK's eyes being a crimson color. TK checked his eyes and they were red, but that was how he healed fastest. He shrugged and made his way inside.
Once inside he didn't immediately see anyone so he let out a howl to see if anyone would hear. He found a server with a tray and took a bright yellow drink from the tray, then took 2 more as he downed them in succession. "Good stuff, whatever it is."

Chuckles to xer self for a bit before stepping out of the shadows. The simple and practical clothes xie had worn gone and in its place was the stunning out fit that Evan made xer.
Xie look around and just wondered around taking in the scenery before xer xie was not to bothered by the lack of people till xie heard a howl. Curiously xie went inside seeing xer Lycan friend before xer xie grins
"Well hello TK,"
