Fenia City Fishing Raffle

Fenia City is hosting a Fishing Raffle! The event will be held from August 29th to September 4th.

There will be two tiers in the competition:

• With Boat
  • First Prize: 300 freznics
  • Second Prize: 150 freznics
  • Third Prize 100 freznics

• Without Boat
  • First Prize: 150 freznics
  • Second Prize: 75 freznics
  • Third Prize: 50 freznics

You must report if you are using a boat or not. I will also be randomly checking equipment to see if people are using boats!

To enter the raffle you must show proof that you caught each fish ((OOC: post an event in this thread)) and you must sell or donate the fish to the TH. If you sell the first at 12.50 you get 1 Raffle Ticket. If you donate the event you get two raffle tickets. You may both sell and donate -- it does not have to be one or the other. Each day I will update how many raffle tickets people have and at the end of the event I will pull for prizes.

I will provide funds for any citizen who doesn't have a boat to get one. Please do not fish without a boat. If you need help getting a boat send a letter IG.

The town hall should have a progrma to get out boats in place.

• "The TH will also give you a rowing boat for a no money down loan in exchange for a repayment of 7 fish. Upgrades to sailing boats for a similar arrangement are also available."

It is unclear to me if this is just for residents or not. I've spoken to two town council members including our last a mayor and both assumed this was only for residents. Additionally, after the event each individual who would still need to repay the Town Hall with 7 fish.

I will also add, there are only so many boats on the market right now and if a large number of people were to request them, we might run out. If this is the case, it may take time to accommodate requests for more boats.

The no boat fishing contest tier will remain open to anyone who does not wish to use a boat or cannot get a boat in time.
