Re: [RP/IG]Wood Cutting Contest August 1657!

It was terribly curious about how the rest of the people in the forest were doing. Was there clearings totally empty of trees and vegetation like where he was chopping? Was the entire treeline just a sham and just beyond the copse was an empty meadow with nary an oak in sight? Unlikely it would get ...

Re: [RP/IG]Wood Cutting Contest August 1657!

Not much time left. Either it was tiring or it was just doing a lousy job or the axe lost its edge. Lets blame the inanimate object, shall we? Warning: Undead joke! Re: [RP/IG]Wood Cutting Contest August 1657!

Back in to the 'swing' of things, the work was humming and the blade continued to be sharp and true as ever. Stamina on chopping is, literally, unending! Re: [RP/IG]Wood Cutting Contest August 1657!

Pretty terrible keeping up with the days, as they seemed to meld one after the other, relentlessly. A good portion of the forest was cleaned out near the mortuary, enough to make a dozen stout galleons or a hundred coffins... ... whatever makes them happy, of course! Sad... so sad... labor was lazy, as expected.

Re: [RP/IG]Wood Cutting Contest August 1657!

Sad, sad... so sad... with withering axe and sunny days it seemed to be slackening its grip and production of fine wood. Perhaps tomorrow! Re: [RP/IG]Wood Cutting Contest August 1657!

One wonders if a better axe produces better amounts of wood... but no, a plain axe did as well as a unencrusted war axe, it seemed to be either random or with some strength and intellect of the user. Only time would tell! Aug 30, 1657 12:00 am [Jobs] You have chopped 7 wood from the forest of Imperi...

Re: [RP/IG]Wood Cutting Contest August 1657!

Not too bad... not bad at all. Though it seemed like no headway was going on it was really moving along, even though the edge was dulling rapidly. Either it was a cheap axe or it was using it too harshly! Aug 29, 1657 12:00 am [Jobs] You have chopped 9 wood from the forest of Imperius (using your pl...

Re: [RP/IG]Wood Cutting Contest August 1657!

(my apologies for missing this area, I will post chopping events here from now on unless otherwise directed) Wagnard, failing to realize the importance of scripture to enable its participation in the event, finally remembered in its scattered immortal brain to make a mark in the book to symbolize a...
