True enough. If the people of Bravia City feel they were cheated out of winning by my extending the time limit to allow folks still in Staunchville to return home to sell their wood, let their voices be heard and I will consider a bonus payment to Bravia City. We do want to be fair and it was for the benefit of all of Bravia, after all.

Greetings Bravians!

The VR of Bravia is once more experiencing a shortfall of wood reserves, so we are starting up another Wood Drive competition. The goal of this wood drive is to secure 1500 wood for the VR. Bravia has 3 peasant wood towns, the closest of which is Staunchville, one day’s travel north of Bravia City.

As you can imagine, 1500 bushels of wood is going to take some time to gather, even with a number of people participating, so don’t everyone go at once! However, everyone can plan to spend 2-3 days a week in Staunchville chopping down trees for the cause.

So what’s in it for you? Plenty! Sell your wood on the town market for 7.00F per bushel. Set to sell to TH only so the mayor will know it’s for the VR. Even if you are only able to chop 4 wood per day, that's a wage of 28F. Imagine the wage for 10 bushels or more per day!

That’s just the beginning! In addition to the money you’ll earn from selling to the VR, there will be prizes for the top 3 loggers who produce at least 200 wood or more over time!

1st prize – 1000F plus a weapon of your choice from the VR inventory
2nd prize – 500F plus an item of armor of your choice from the VR inventory
3rd prize – 250F plus a Shepherd’s pie

We’ll keep track of the participants and their contributions here in this thread so everyone knows who is winning! You can post your wood sales and I'll keep a running tally for you.

To spice things up even more, whichever town sells the most wood to the VR during the contest will get a bonus 2000F for gathering a minimum of 500 wood from their citizens and visitors to use as they wish for the town. If the other town gathers at least 500 wood, they'll also receive a consolation prize of 1500F to use as they wish. Will that be Bravia City or will it be Paz? Paz won last time, so Bravia City has a score to settle! Who will it be? You get to decide!

You may wish to request grants from either the VR or your Town Hall to help you carry all the wood you’ll be gathering. Alternatively, I will be visiting the logging sites and can purchase the wood from you there to make things easier for you. Don’t worry, though. You’ll still get credit for wood and your home town will get credit for the sales.

This competition will run from September 14th until we gather the 1500 wood, so get ready, set and GO!!!!
