Looking over I pondered what the cards meant.

"Chimera, is it possible you could read me too?"

They had both been stunned to silence by the accuracy of the reading about the present and the prediction of the future for their lives together. They had stood up, walked in a daze towards the entrance justas a young lady entered, then asked for a reading. Then turning back to Chimera, as an after thought they spoke .. Yes, we will except your offer of an individual reading..but please, we will wait outside while you attend this young lady first.

Still dazed, Lys, holding his beloved Louisa's hand, escorted her through the flaps of the booth to discuss the reading they had witnessed..that is, when the shock had subsided enough for them to talk !

[Louisa]

Louisa sat and watched as Chimera turned over the cards and began to read…by the time she had finished her reading both herself and Lys were flabbergasted. For once in her life she couldn’t think of a single thing to say.

She was too stunned and needed to talk over what was just said to Lys…standing up as he did, she vaguely heard her love speak to Chimera, with her hand in is she followed him thru the flaps of the booth…giving the young lass that had entered a vague smile. Her thoughts were jumbled as they stood outside, looking up she saw the same confused look that she was sure was painted all over hers.

[Chimera]

Chimera hopes that she hasn't upset the two as they leave the area for a while. She turns back to Gardner.

"I would love to do a reading for you. Have you any specific question in mind?"

Sometimes it helps to focus the energies if there is a specific question, but it is fine if someone just wants something general too.

[Louisa]

Shaking her head Louisa tries to clear her mind…the thought of having their cards read both excited and intrigued her. She had sat quietly watching the actions of Chimera then as the first card was turned over the word she picked up on was “strife” did that mean as a couple they had more problems ahead of them…but listening further to the explanation she nodded … they did have ‘teething’ problems in the beginning but had worked together to get past them.

Looking up into his eyes her smile soft… “Seems that our Tarot reader has worked us out my love, I must admit the very first card had me slightly baffled but thinking more on it we did have a few problems to over come in the beginning love…when we first met all those months ago” Placing her hand on his arm she stepped closer… ‘But those days are long gone and we have drawn closer together”

Lys had always fascinated her well before she met him a long time ago, in a town so very far away…but she somehow knew way back then they would be good for each other and the day they married was the happiest. Now they had been told that they had known…they were better together than apart.

“Seems we are meant for each other, and although seeing cards being turned over and it being confirmed really surprised me no end…she really has pegged us sweetheart….I don’t know how but Chimera has” her smile was bright and her eyes sparkled gone was the confusion Louisa was happy that both Lys and herself were good for each other…just then she remember the bottle in her hand. Opening the lid she inhaled deeply feeling a calm waft over her…the smell was pleasing to her senses, recapping the lid she placed it carefully into her pocket.

“So who will go in first…to find out more about ourselves hmmmm?” she grinned up cheekily.

Lys and Louisa exited the booth to stand just outside Then they turned to face each other, disbelief of Chimea's accuracy was written all over their faces. No words was spoken as they mulled over the card reading. From the hesitation of the first card...that inwardly concerned them a little...to the last card to be explained fully, spoke of their current life, their feelings for one another, what had happened to them both, that brought about a love that bonded them. Suddenly Lys was brought out of his deep thoughts as Louisa broke the silence.. “Seems that our Tarot reader has worked us out my love, I must admit the very first card had me slightly baffled but thinking more on it we did have a few problems to over come in the beginning love…when we first met all those months ago” For a moment all her could reply was a warm smile. Then placing her hand on his arm as she moved closer to him, whispered.. " But those days are long gone and we have drawn closer together” His smile softened as he looked her in the eyes " Sweetheart, it was a very differcult time when we first met, but the strength of the love we share for each other has stood the tests that were laid before us." It was as Chimera had said, they were stronger together than they were apart. Looking back through his mind's eye, Lys had found that once Louisa and he had briefly parted, though not by their own doing, he was not the man he was when they were together. He had sought out where Louisa was, then headed to her without apprehension. As soon as their eyes met, both knew what the future held for them...Lys proposed to her at her families Estate.

As if she had read his thoughts, Louisa added.. “Seems we are meant for each other, and although seeing cards being turned over and it being confirmed really surprised me no end…she really has pegged us sweetheart….I don’t know how, but Chimera has” Placing his palm gently at her cheek, Lys uttered... " Louisa hunni..we were right to walk the path of marriage..never have I been happier than the past nine months that we have shared. " Just one look at the sparkle that lit up her eyes, and the happiness that covered her counternance, was all the proof Lys needed to tell him Louisa was not only his wife, but his soulmate.

His smile changed to that of laughter at her impish expression while she looked deep into his eyes, asking.. “So who will go in first…to find out more about ourselves hmmmm?” Raising his brow he countered.. Well..I have nothing to hide from you my love...let's go in together Taking her hand in his, he lead her back through the flaps of the booth.

Approaching Chimera, Lys noticed the lady had not taken up a seat to have a consultation. Addressing Chimera, he asked, " If the lady is a bit undecided, we are both ready to accept your offer of an individual reading...if that is okay.."

[Chimera]

Chimera waits a while and then smiles.

"It seems that the question on her mind is one that requires very serious thought."

Chuckling she looks at the happy young couple,

"do you want them privately or are you happy to hear each others readings?"

Chimera almost dares not to ask the following question after it's effect on The Gardener, but she asks it anyway.

"Any specific questions you have in mind?"

While she waits for an answer, she rumages around in her bag, trying to find the right deck ...

[Ayshara]

Ayshara wanders over to the tarot booth while grabbing a mug of ale on the way. "Greetings, Chimera. May I have a reading done? I will wait outside while you finish your current reading"

With a smile on there faces, Louisa and Lys takes their seats in front of Chimera. then looking up to them, asks :

"do you want them privately or are you happy to hear each others readings?"

Facing each other with happy smiles reflecting to each other like a mirror, in unison they turned to face Chimera,, replied .." We have no secrets from each other ...please we are willing to show that we are an open book... and I have no specific question.."

Waiting for Chimera to begin their readings, Louisa takes a hold of his hand, giving it a soft gentle squeeze. Looking into her dark eyes, Lys smiles warmly at his beloved wife.

I scribble a note for Chimera.

It says:
