The sounds of the fire crackled through the night air as the soft lapping of the ocean seemed to pulse on as the world lived and breathed around them. Roma always had a connection to the earth. It was their blessing and their curse. The earth was their home but no one place could keep them. The drive to move and explore was too great. That was what made the vacation so needed. Too much time cooped up in Cork was about to drive Scarlet and the rest of the Roma mad. Cork was a great place but only the vardos were their homes.

Scarlet smiled as she breathed in the ocean air and looked around the camp set up. A night on the beach was perfect, added with the sorcerer fire globes and heat filling the air. Creating an inviting environment for an evening of fun. Smells of meat cooking on the spit was only a note in the symphony of good smells from the other foods that were laid out in bowls. Pillows and rugs were laid out around the fire in a comfortable and colorful array of places to sit and eat. Even talk with the others. Off a ways was an area that people were using for practice duels.

Everyone there was her family, Roma or Dalakoi it didn't matter. They were her's. However, most may not have known it. She relaxed back into her pillows sipping the glass of juice in her hand before she felt a small body plop down beside her. With a soft laugh she looked over to find Natalya holding an apple out to her. Taking the apple she spoke to the girl, "nais tuke chavi .... sar'shan?" The girl smiled up at her and just shrugged contentedly. With a soft laugh she leaned over and kissed the top of the girl's head. "Yes it is a good night isn't it?" Natalya smiled up at her again as the two of them relaxed into the pillows enjoying their apples.

[Serene]

Serene enjoyed traveling. It was an enjoyable vacation so far.
She saw the campfire and headed towards it with her catch of the day. Two nice big fish.
She might have caught more if she had not taken such a long break in the tavern.
As she approached she smiled and waved at Scarlet, " Mind if I join you? I was thinking of skewering these fish and roasting them on the fire? You are welcome to have some."
Serene is wearing her new outfit and is feeling festive.

[Rieron]

The night was young and the moon was shining bright in that evening with the atmosphere rather happier than usual in the caravan. Rieron had decided to take a quick lone walk around the whole camp to ensure the protection spell he had cast over it was working as it should have while checking that the sentries were located in places where they could guard the camp more from the outside now that he had form an army with the help of his comrades.

As he strolled through the surroundings he contemplated all the things that had occurred in the journey so far and how they made it to the city of Paz. It was simple though the whole Roma camp and the House of Dalakoi had decided a few weeks back that it was time for vacation after months of being enclosed in the town of Cork either working or studying. So they had made their way to the coastal town from the half-deserted capital city where they set up the caravan quickly near the beach area to get a better view of the ocean during their stay and enjoy the sea's cooling breeze.

Everything was going as planned and nearly everybody seemed to be enjoying themselves in the town either dueling, trading or just passing the time with their family exploring around whenever they weren't in the beach or lake, fishing and swimming. Rieron was especially enjoying the moments spent with his mate which had lead to many new discoveries of things they had no knowledge of from their child and even themselves to make lost time for his trip to his homeland. He was back now and determined to see his wife and soon to be born son happy after winning back his freedom.

Walking back to the camp Rieron spotted Scarlet nearby the warm fire with a very small roma girl by the name of Natalya and Serene with her new outfit. Rieron smiled faintly and strolled towards them as they were resting by the comfortable pillows while looking around for more faces "Hola amor, how is everybody doing so far and where are the rest of the creatures?" he asked Scarlet standing beside her while waving Serene and the little girl slightly. They both seemed to be in good spirits even though Natalya was shier than most, still it was noticeable that they were enjoying the trip.

[Yersin]

Yersin had snuck out of the camp in his rat form to not be bothered by the sentries or any other of the adults. He wasn't sure if he was allowed to leave or not. Sometimes they let him be, other times they could be very difficult about it. As if there were certain times in a day that were different from others. Yersin didn't understand, but figured it was better to not ask and find out later he shouldn't have left, than to ask first and have more trouble sneaking out anyway.

He found a quiet place on the beach where he shifted back. Running over the loose sand and picking up treasures went much better as a human being.
Yersin spent some time running up and jumping down the sand dunes, then wading through the water on the shore line. Eventually, he jumped in and swam, diving for the bottom every now and then to grab a sea shell, a stone or other things that looked interesting.
When he got tired of swimming, he wandered over the beach again, drifting off a little further from camp until he noticed a small stream flowing over the beach into the sea. He chuckled, knowing it probably came from the city of Paz, and made a mental note to show Brishan this.

A sudden gust of wind from the right direction brought a promising smell. More important than the smell of the stream flowing into the sea. Yersin's nose might not be as good in human form as in rat form, it was still a lot better than that of regular humans. Food.
He grinned, turned and started to run back to camp. He couldn't risk the others eating everything before he returned.

[Serene]

Serene took Rieron's wave to mean it was ok cook the fish at the fire.
She had cleaned the fish and taken the scales off earlier.
She sharpened two sticks on a rock to make a sharp point and then skewered the fish on.
Holding the fish over the fire, she roasted the fish.

[Cassandra]

The cold air of the bright night caressed Cass sensitive skin as she walked out of the lake. Fish in hand she closed her eyes willing the wind to pick up and dry her green dress. After walking almost all day to catch up with the group she was sure she was now close enough and decided to find herself some food. It had been a while since she last tasted fish, this vacation was already proving to be a good idea for her.

Her ears perked up as the faint sound of talking registered near by, with steps light as feathers Cassandra walked towards the sound, careful to watch out for any danger, she did not knew the area well.
Serene's familiar voice prompted her to relax, picking up her steps Cass approached the group. Her eyes quickly scanned the area assessing the creatures present.

Waving a hand slowly in form of greeting Cass inclined her head slightly as she acknowledged everyone who was present. Then awkwardly approached the creatures, sitting by Serene she smiled at her sister. Never being one to mingle with others unless it was absolutely necessary Cassandra always felt out of place around crowds. But being on her sisters company helped her relax. "More fish... I've brought fish, need help roasting them?"

[Serene]

Serene was so excited to see her sister! It took all of herself control to not just drop everything and run over to give her a joyous exuberant hug knocking everything over. She missed the days when she was littler and her big sister would come to visit. This reminded her so much of those visits, she had to resist acting as a small child. She ws an adult now, she controlled her enthusiasm. Or at least she thought she did. Though anyone around would know she was very excited.

"HI CASSANDRA!" she said with an ear to ear grin. "It is so good to see you!". Looking around at the number of people she realizes that more fish is definitely a good idea. She knows Scarlet has set out some food. More fish will let it be a feast. She scoots o er to make more room at the fire. She props up the fish on skewers using some nearby stones. Then she goes and carefully gives a hug.

[Cassandra]

The excitement in Serene really helped Cass relax a lot more, leaning over she hugged her sister and smiled feeling completely at home now. "It's good to see you too Serene, its been a while..." Cass scooted closer to the fire as her sister made room for her, and sighed content welcoming the warmth.
Following Serene's lead, she helped set the fish in skewers to roast them on the fire. Even tho Cass had other ways of preparing her meal she assumed this was just as usual for her traveling companions and opted to adapt to their ways.

" How nice is it, we get to travel together, will be good to catch up on each other" Eying her sister Cassandra smiled big as she spoke. Her eyes later scanned the camp and the other creatures, some of them familiar faces.

[Scarlet]

Scarlet grinned as more people showed up to the fire and more food was being put on to cook. She knew between all of them the food would be eaten. Leaning to the side shehugged Rieron and kissed him on the cheek before softly whispering, "I am good Ves'tacha ... as to the rest I don't know where they are." With another kiss she sat up and complimented Serene on the new clothing, "I know it's a bit more Roma than you might be used to but it looks beautiful on you .... Though I'm sure that's not a hard feat."

When Cassandra showed up she was even happier, Cassandra never seemed to come out of the Dalakoi part of the camp during their trip but it was good that food was drawing even the quiet to the party. A familiar scent neared the fire, "Yersin ... there will be plenty for you ... go find Brishan and make sure he comes out of hiding."

[Yersin]

As he returned to the camp, Yersin spotted quite a number of people, some of which he didn't really know.
There would be plenty of time for that later. Right now the scents of the food were overwhelming and his stomach rumbled. He looked around, grinned a little, as he took in the sight and smells of the food. He was about to decide what to grab first when he heard Scarlet's voice.
"Yersin ... there will be plenty for you ... go find Brishan and make sure he comes out of hiding."

He sighed because he would have preferred to find Brishan after eating. He quickly grabbed a skewer with fish and ran off to find the other boy.
"Brishan!", he yelled. He looked behind and underneath several vardo's, chuckling to himself. He knew Brishan was more likely to be in his own family's vardo, but he enjoyed the silly game while he ate the fish he took.
"BRISHAN!!!"
