Several rumpled banners lie around Balerion reading "Mascerad" "Maskeradee" "Masqurd" and finally "Mascered." After many many tries he finally got it right. "Masquerade!" Feeling accomplished he puts up a banner but looks around in dismay at the rest of the hall. Currently it is a mess. A complete and utter emergency zone. Without help this thing will never happen.

Re: Preparing for the Masquerade
Katara entered the masquerade hall and her eyes widened when she saw the destruction around the hall. She looked around and saw that Balerion was the only one there. She took a deep breath and pulled her hair up into a ponytail. Although her main forte was healing spells she had been taught the traditional household spells that some elves used. She walked around the room and began to muttering spells to repair everything. After spending several hours cleaning the masquerade hall she had finally finished.
Re: Preparing for the Masquerade
A troll arrived with sacks of Molotov cockatiels and twine.
Logo was shocked at the change in the room. Wha? izza smell not .... oooh... shiney!
He tied the bird-feet carefully to the glistening chandeliers.
Opening his black book, Logo mumbled a few words from a page he was reasonably certain was a constipation spell and set a ward to slow the cockatiels detonation.
"Izza light show ready!"

Re: Preparing for the Masquerade
On arrival, she'd seen the mess, and had wondered how she could help! The masonry being solid, it was mostly cosmetic damages, which in truth were extensive. Noting the arrival of the elven Katara, she decides to work on a side room, and begin preparing some food, practicing some old skills that she'd found most entertaining - in most senses of the words. There's nothing like food to bring beings together, and if there's to be a gathering, most often even the most unhungry will take some bit of refuge in carrying around a plate.
To the side of this table, she prepared and bought some desserts. Nothing says fun, at least to her, like some kind of fruity pastry.
In another room, down a hall, the rest of the food and desserts wait, a back up feast if the first feast is eaten before the party ends.
