(ORP) Just saying hello.....

Post by Varann »

Xie was putting Calor to bed and as had become regular occurance since they moved, he fell asleep halfway through the first paragraph of his bed time story.

Xie hoped after everything had settled down he'd be able to get back into his normal bed time.

"Still," xie muttered quietly to xerself as xie tidied up slightly while leaving his room "it wasnt anything to worry about. Yet..."

Going to xer study to start goibg through the next weeks work shceduals, xie looked at the rows of books and atrfacts xie had collected over the years of travel and exploration and felt the same irrating itch to dissapear again flare up inside.
xie chided xerself "you have a family now and people who are supposedly influenced by your actions and you only moved home a few days ago so maybe this should not be an itch you should scratch.... At least not yet....,"
There was an unexpected knock at the door which distracted xer for a moment....

Loreth really had not understood Varann's desire to move to a new city given xie always had a tendency to wander and explore. Loreth was much the same. The elf didn't really like to stay in one place for long, the only exception was when she was with Varann. In xer, she found someone who understood her wildness, her proclivity to explore and sometimes get into trouble. She had been doing just that today, exploring the city of Cork. Well at first she had been and then she ended up wandering further out into the woods.

Now she was back at Varann's new home. She entered and made her way up to the study. She knocked twice on the wooden door, knowing xie was likely in there working.

Xie was pretty familliar with the sound of Loreth's footsteps by now they were light and had a self assured air about them that xie loved so much.
"come on in love and save me from this never ending pile of paper work,"

Oreo trotted around Cork and did a double take when he saw an unfamiliar house.

Experience taught him not to meddle with other people's business.

He also heard that curiosity killed the cat. But he was not a cat and he's already dead.

He barked a short hello. "Woof!"

He knew that 99% percent of the creatures here would not hear him, but he barked his hello anyway.

He wagged his tail and went on his way to the center of the town.

Stepping inside the room, she ran her hand back through her dark tresses. The dampness from the snow was beginning to drying leaving her hair in its usual uruliness. She sat down on the edge of Varann's desk as she glanced down at the paperwork. "What are you working on today?"
