Arkie is astonished at the seeming viciousness, cruelty and brutality of this "wedding." When Selene hacked off Logo's tail, Arkie made up her mind that she'd never make it as a Troll, and never would wed at all if that's what it took.

When Selene attacks Logo's legs, Arkie feels shock and horror. Maybe the next big event in Bravia won't be a wedding, but a funeral.

Willow was shocked to see what was happening in this wedding. She was so happy that her wedding was more normal compared to this - there didn't seem to be love in this wedding just attack and hurting each other.

She didn't know what to do and started hanging around with Arkie. Willow was unsure where her husband Adonair was and she was feeling confused and lost. She hoped that the bridal couple didn't end up killing each other.

The deli and its sorcery wing responded to Callie's attention.
She instructed the living building to be okay.

Vines and limbs twisted to support the damaged trunk and branches.

The child continued, urging, "grow good"
The building did just that.
Image

Trunks stretched skyward raising the deli's roof.
Seedlings sprouted and grew to full height. Vines twined and spread outward.
The door developed a decided lean and the sign above it tilted precariously.
New walls formed as new rooms budded from the delicatessen.
Neighbor's cat watched lazily as his master's home was annexed, completely covered by the living edifice.

...

Logo didn't notice the deli. He had a handful with his bridal battle. More correctly, the troll had his hands arms, tail, feet and legs full.
It was a glorious battle. Aunt phlem and uncle boog, perhaps even his father would be proud. He almost wished they were there.
'Just as well,' he thought, 'with Aunt plem's appetite, Arkie would have had considerably less tail to reconnect if they were.'

Like his dance, tossed pants failed to distract Selene. In the ensuing onslaught she had lost ground. He thought with her dis-armed he might have a chance of dragging her through the reception door. Logo had swung both axe and sword simultaneously ... and accurately. The weapons had seemed certain to meet their targets, when suddenly, she had scrambled, again, between legs to appear behind the troll.

There were gasps and hoots from the human and orcish guests. Logo wondered where the ancient one had gone. Was he still feasting on the firebirds? What odds did the succubus give him in her betting pool? Was the pot a big one? Surely his chances just went down.

Oddly, Logo felt the spanking flat of Selen's sword before the punctures in his thighs. "ggaGAH!" he shouted more from embarrassment than pain. "tr'Iicky m'Ove, th'At! sh'Ame on m'E, d'Ear one, it succeederated tw'Ice." he called, turning to face her again.
He looked at Selene and her smile. Was that a trick of the light?
He would have looked closer, but Logo had more important things than teeth to ponder.

'Another lesson learned,' he thought, 'and costly.' He could feel his skin of his legs stretching and tightening to staunch the lazy flows of thick blood. The troll would not best with weapons her superior training and preternatural speed. Size and weight were his best advantage. Weapons or no, he would use it.
The word, 'teeth' ran through his mind and he hit on a plan. One of his mother's legacies, perhaps; it was unusual for trolls. Logo's fangs were possessed of a type of venom; paralytic or intoxicating, it was useful, mostly, for hunting small things

Logo moved toward Selene, shafts of his weapons vertical in a blocking position, legs and tail close to prevent a third escape. Tusks bared and fangs glistening with venom, the troll approached her. He swung axe and sword outward to push her swords aside.
Close to her, he dropped his weapons and grabbed her, wrapping his massive hands around her arms and shoulders.
Logo lifted his bride and pushed his face toward her hoping his fangs found purchase.

Adonair was amused by the battle and he knew that the troll would be just fine. He also knew that Logo would not truly harm Selene. To him the whole thing is a beautiful tradition that happens to be unknown amongst the humans. What DID concern Adonair though, was the growth of the deli. This, if left uncontrolled could swallow the entire town turning it into a jungle. He casts a spell to cease the growth at its present level. He figured that once things were back to normal Logo could prune his Deli back to the size he wanted.
Callie

Callie giggled and clapped her tiny pudgy hands, joyously praising the Deli as it continued to heal itself. Good dewi. Dewi be all bedder. Ohhh…woook….Dewi make fwowersh an bines all round door fwame. Bines an fwowersh ish pweddy Dewi. Wogo an Sewne will wike dat wots and wots. Dewi no huwd no more. Callie no let Dewi ged huwd. Dem siwwy Wogo an Swene no fite for or huwd Dewi nooooo more.

The dear dimpled darling smiled her bestest dimply chubby cheeked smile at the living Deli, then glanced back towards the couple. Callie shook her curly head, curls bouncing all springy like against her cheeks, when she saw them still carrying on like bad little children instead of good big grownups. Her fingers continued to trace the now re-strengthened crack in the willow, tiny pinpricks of light dancing along the wood. It almost appeared to be fireflies dancing over and through the wood, though we know that couldn’t possibly be occurring; Callie’s tickling tummy notwithstanding.

What Callie and probably none of the others present could possibly know is that when Callie leaned in to 'whisper' (well, as good as any child could whisper at four years old) Dewi grow soooo good an pweddy. Callie prowd ob Dewi; to the Deli, a picture had formed in the child’s mind. One that somehow, someway, no matter how unlikely it may seem, the living willow that formed the framework of the Deli SAW. Not only did the living willow SEE that picture in Callie’s mind, the living willow was doing its best to slowly but surely implement that picture from Callie’s mind into its own architecture. The room additions and overgrowth that had been happening had stopped with Adonair’s spell…that didn’t mean that the Deli had stopped reforming and restructuring within the now much larger existing hulk that comprised OMG. It would take days, and was so subtle and wild a majik that even the most sensitive of magicians, wizards, witches, or the like would even pick up that it was occurring, other than the obvious signs when a vine or branch sprouted, waved here, wound there, or grew from way up to way low, flowers blossoming in its wake.

Of course Callie, who happened to be sensitive to majik, even if she couldn’t see it, by the tickling sensations in her belly, might have noticed, had she camped there and watched for the next few days. We all know though, that Callie did not, nor could she camp there for days, not without mommy and daddy’s permission, which she was highly unlikely to get. Lowly unlikely as well, come to think of it. Well, it just wasn’t going to happen.

Besides, like all tiny toddlers do, Callie became distracted once she knew the OMG Deli was indeed okay. How could she not be? With a wedding fight happening a few feet in front of her, distraction was pretty much a given, now wasn’t it? And she was distracted, and had peered out from between a few branches that had grown in front of her just in time to see Logo “hug” Selene, and begin to DROOL. Yucckkkkkyyyyyyyyyyyy…Wogo ish dwooling. Wook, Wogo dwooling all ober. And a chant she heard from some school aged children popped into her mind and right out of her mouth; Boys dwoollll…Giwls RooL. Dat mean Sewne RooL Wogo now? Wooooogoooooooo!! Swene RooL yewwwwww! Sewne giwl an Giwls RooLLL! Yew dwool, no RooL!

Hod and friends turned their attention to the deli, that was growing out of control. They had never seen a deli, or any other building for that matter, grow by itself so quickly. Hod kept staring at Callie and the deli. She wondered if her little friend had used magic on the deli. G'gila, Wolle, Luna, and Benjamin all turned their attention back to Logo, and continued cheering him on.

Sitting back and watching the brutal wedding ritual was nothing so bad to her, fully well knowing that the Troll had no ill intentions toward her friend...even if he was cheating with the fang elixir, but whatever it took to win... Laughing she shouts at Logo..OY! that is cheating! Laughing and knowing that it would fall on deaf ears as the troll was fully in battle, she waits to see what Selene will do...and is willing to help so she doesn't lose her 10F on the fight...

Selene felt tiny in his hands and she knew from the start if Logo was to get her, all was more then likely lost...

Selene Looked at Firechild and shake her head letting her friend know not to come to her rescue.

''If I win, it will be on my own, if I lose too!'' wiggles didnt help the firm grasp Logo had on her.

As she see his face get close, she was wondering what will it do ....

Logo's tusk reached her as she decided if she was to lose no better oppent she could have wished in his troll tradition, she close her eyes and in a whisper let out
''I love you Logo''

she slowly seem rather unusual smilling and stop her wiggling and gaze at Logo's eyes

''Wow they ever blue!'' she comment like she had never noticed them before....

Arkie walks to the door of the Deli and opens it to allow Logo to be able to drag Selene into it. She walks to the side of the opened door and waits.
