Rieron listened to Juan as he watched Serene and tried to moderate her soul energy giving it boosts here and there with his own to bring her to life, and keep her alive, "Bloody bug.."

Serene 's eyes fluttered briefly. She appeared to be sleeping vs dead.

Morning came and Serene had not died again. The dream seemed to have ended. She woke up and looked around while laying on the couch. She saw Rieron and felt the tingling feeling that meant she had been healed. She looked at him and tried to talk. Nothing came out at first. Then she managed to clear her throat and utter a quiet, "Thank you!"
She felt wretched but she was alive. She smiled.

Rieron watches Serene finally wake up and listens to her words before responding, "You welcome Huggy.." He chuckled for a moment then stood up looking down at her, "Stay here and rest until you are fully healed. Thats an order." he said with a calm voice but with command, activating the power of the contract. Looking back at Juan at the corner of his eye Rieron said, "She needs to get plenty of rest so the healing spell sinks in fully. Have food and water around for when she needs it"

Juan had been watching from the shadows. He sighed in relief upon hearing that Serene would be okay. He liked his job working for her he realized when he thought he might end up unemployed.
When Rieron told him to have food and water for her he said, "Yes sir." He went to the kitchen and started cooking. Cooking was one of his favorite things to do.

Serene was still exhausted from her ordeal. She had a table full of food around her. She had stuffed herself and she felt a bit sick. She had sucked on an aloe leave and it had helped her to feel better.
She really wanted to go play in the tavern. But she had to stay home and rest. She found that she had lost some proficiency on her sword practice and that made her sad.

She felt like a caged bird. Rieron had never made her do something before by a spell. She didn't like the feeling. The tavern felt that more enticing because it was forbidden.

She did manage to pick up a few sticks in her yard that had blown down in the last storm. She piled them up by the side of the house waiting till she could take them to market. Sure she could ask Juan but she wanted to do it herself.

She found herself resting in bed dreaming about quests and playing find the bean.

Serene had let Juan take the sticks to market. While he was busy doing that she had snuck out to visit the tavern. Being tired she had not been as quiet as she had hoped and the sorcerer Rieron had sniffed her out right away. Surprisingly he had not even scolded her for leaving the quarantine she felt he had given her. She definitely needed to learn more about how these spells worked. Maybe one day she would understand.
She pushed such thoughts out of her mind and concentrated on getting better and thinking of new tricks to play on Juan. Juan in her opinion had taken on much to much of a caretakers role with her and she itched for her freedom as it was before.

It was not a very long foray into town as she was still tired She managed to get home before Juan arrived back from the market. She had even been able to meet a trader named Davi on her round about way home.

Serene woke up feeling fit and happy! She wasn't tired anymore! It felt so good she went wildly careening through the house. Making Juan throw his hands up in despair at the thought of trying to contain her any longer.
Serene left the house skipping around to find something to do.

"Today is magic stick day! Today is magic stick day!" Serene sings as she skips though town. "Today is the day that sticks are worth more than gold! Today is the day that sticks are worth more than gold!" She giggles and laughs as the sticks she picked up are sold for 12f each today.

"Oh I wish that we could have a magic stick game!" Serene grabs a piece of paper and writes Willow. Gawain had told her in the tavern that Willow was the person who could make a game. She crosses her fingers and sends it off with a peasant.
