With deft hands the scarf from around her neck and tied her hair at the nape of her neck. After tightening it she looked around the work space of her vardo. There was the space for her work and the space where her family lived. The work space was filled with many things that was needed for the Drabarni to do her work. Mortar, pestel, various dried herbs bottled and hung to dry, as well as cards and cups to read different problems that could occur. Roma rarely got their fortunes read. The dook sometimes clouded unless the need was great for the Roma people.

With quick work she looked over the drying herbs checking them for how they were doing. Taking down a few to put them into jars she started finishing up cleaning and straightening. In a sudden flurry of hair, giggles, and pattering feet she felt a small body crash into her side hugging her side. Natalya looked up at her as she looked down into the bright blue eyes of her daughter. "Chikni .... how are you today?"

Natalya rattled off about how she had been running around galloping like the vanners did. Anselina could only laugh with joy as she picked the four year old up and kissed her forehead before carrying the two of them into the greater area of the caravan by the fire. In the short months she had lived in the caravan with her family it had grown quite a bit. Now there were children running and giggling throughout the day as well as running. Dinner was always brought about with laughter and stories. It was wonderful.

Speaking of wonderful she looked briefly across the caravan to the lone tent by Dev's vardo. A blush creeped across her cheeks before she was able to pull her eyes back to her daughter. The girl was resting her head on Anselina's shoulder as her small hands ran through Anselina's hair. A smile crossed her lips. It had been a very good move for them.
