[CRP] Implied but not stated

Grazilda just finished her usual evening bath and proceeded to the tavern. This has been a routine for her, even if she could barely walk from the duel. However, she has been undergoing a lot of training that she can manage to walk around despite the body pains from the training duels. Of course, the lemon scented liniment that Scarlet so generously gave her every time also contributed to her desensitization. In addition, she was the type of person who had a strong tolerance for pain that she only needed the liniment when she was in excruciating pain. And today’s pain was far from excruciating that it could have passed as a nuisance, at least according to her standards.

Thus, she proceeded to the tavern, as what she has been doing as of late. She somehow developed this habit of socializing. If this was a year ago, such idea would have been a horror for her. She hated mingling with people who might only want her dead. In fact, about a year ago, she would have trusted no one, and anyone who committed a mistake of talking to her would have been killed on the spot. However, things have changed.

The reason for this change was the very man who just walked passed her as she entered the tavern. He was very tall. He was a foot and an inch taller than her---that it was very hard to miss him. Nobody would miss someone who was six feet and four inches tall. She, on the other hand, could walk through a crowded room without anyone noticing her, simply because almost everyone towered over her. She was not exactly very small, but in a world where everyone seem to be gifted with a great set of physical features handed down from generation to generation, she was at the end of the food chain in that respect.

And since he was tall, he had longer strides that she had to practically run to keep up with him. “Dev!” She called his name as she tried to run to as fast as he could. It didn’t help that he seemed to have left the tavern in a bad mood. In fact, he stormed out of the tavern that she had to make sure that she stepped aside to give way**. Otherwise, she might have been thrown out or something. Not that she hoped that it would happen. Yet one would always assume that another would have more strength in a single action when one was angry.

She tried to run and when she was finally able to catch up on him, she tried to catch her breath and matched his pace. ”Everything all right?” It was a rhetorical question. It was obvious that he was angry as he looked like a charging bull complete with smoke coming out of his nostrils.

She placed a gentle hand on his arm. ”Tell me why are you angry.”
