Due to marauding griffons preying on travellers it is suggested that no one brave the roads to our neighboring towns unless they are in a large group and well armed.

oh yes, very much so. If you could choose a direction and have them patrol it would be great. Well, that is, it would be great providing the dragons didn't become a greater problem than the griffons.
