Seeing the curtsey, the raven seemed to stare a bit at Serendipity. Mira stood there cold faced like stone listening to the words almost as if the words mattered not, but rather the tone. With a turn of her head, she motioned for the servant to reply. "The Viceroyalty of Muria's esteemed Liberator has been welcomed, but disappointed that she was not greeted by someone of more statue. This will be remembered," the servant said and pushed past to create a path. Mira did not look at all towards Serenditiy as she past by her, but the Raven seemed to lock eyes as they passed.

Walking through the Cathedral, it was obvious that a path was being cleared between Mira and what her seat would be whether it meant upsetting people talking or not. Not a word one was spoken by Muria's leader, but a cold air seemed to pass by her.

So today was the day, one long awaited and much planned, yet it had finally arrived. For near six years he had been King and he had in that time ruled alone, with advisors, with confidants, with councilors, but never with a Queen, or in this case two Queens. It had been an interesting year, from when those he had decided to wed had arrived as near refugees in his nation, running from violent persecution by old family, to now at this moment where it would all come to its conclusion. Yet like all ends, it was in truth the beginning of something else, something different and new. His power and control of the Kingdom of Fenia would not change, yet it would most certainly be different, in the past people had sought him directly for influence or politics, but come this time tomorrow there would no doubt be those seeking the favour of his two Queens to gain that same influence.

Was that the reason he had remained alone so long? Unbound by oath or marriage, to protect the fine balance of the kingdom he had spent so much of his life moulding into his image, into his ideal of a nation. Or perhaps there was other reasons, his past was in truth filled with loss and pain of those he had truly cared for, and was it not easier to never love than to lose a love? Was it simpler to remain cold, isolated and stern in demeanour rather than show something rawer and exposed in the form of emotions? Questions which bubbled in his mind, as he stood in his private chambers in the Fenian castle, quite isolated from the world as for the first time in a long time the entire wing of his private apartments were empty. No guards, servants of councillors were around, it was during these few hours that he enjoyed the silence and privacy, the atmosphere was no doubt in complete contrast to that of the cathedral he would later be standing in with his brides, but it was that privacy he craved. His eyes were closed and his breathing steady as he listened to the wind that howled ever so slightly against the panes of glass much like the lone wolf atop a mountain at night, yet he would no longer be that lone wolf come that afternoon, instead he would inherit a pack, a large one at that, with it’s own unique customs and beliefs about the world.

It amused him slightly at the thought that even now after all this time and planning they had never really sat down and discussed those beliefs and customs, then again perhaps Aishe and Akos felt that same fear? It was one thing to lead a family, another to lead a kingdom full of diverse creatures with varying beliefs and views upon the world and the kingdom he ruled. To be surrounded by servants and courtiers who sought both to serve and gain from surrounding themselves with power. It was a burden to him and no doubt they would soon feel that same strain. However, if there was two people who could handle it, it would be them. Akos’ free nature and spirit was one that was likely to bounce any such pressures away from her without a second thought, and Aishe had run a republic well enough to know about the burdens he felt and how to handle them.

Sighing slightly, he finally opened his eyes as the bells at the Cathedral crashed into action, the ringing that went far and wide across the capitol, all the way to the farms that were situated outside of the walls signalling the start of the day and in the case of the King, the start of a new chapter in his life. It was usual for a King to be assisted in the act of dressing, however for this day, he had decided to do so alone. Afterall, while he might have reigned for so long, he had not forgotten his origins, or his difficulties in life. The pains and struggles were etched upon both mind and body and so he took his time to dress, before finally examining his choice of attire in the mirror. He wore black leather boots that reached to his knees which were lined with the fur of a grey bear to match his house colours, along with black breeches that merged neatly into the boots, close fitting to the body, yet ideal for movement and embroidered with the finest of threads of woven gold and silver which once again represented his colours of the grey wolf crowned with gold. Across his chest was a black doublet with a high collar made of a mixture of leather and velvet with the arms made of studded leather, the studs a mixture of gold and gemstones, primarily rubies, however a few more colourful stones had been included, which reflected already in the firelight. The body however was velvet and much like the breeches had been embroidered with gold thread which created an ornate pattern and at the centre of each a ruby was studded into the garment. Around his neck was his gold chain of office which was made up of circular links bound together and at the centre of each link was another precious stone, and at the centre of this chain was his crest, the wolf crafted out of gold with a ruby eye once again matching both the rest of the chain and his overall attire of black, gold and red. The winter weather was also to be matched with his attire with a large black cloak made from the fur and body of a great wolf he had hunted that previous month, with the head of the beast resting upon his shoulder. Finally upon his head sat a golden crown which had been forged for the wedding as upon the band of gold sat both the unicorn of his brides and the wolf of his own family made from the finest silver and again encrusted with the rubies to match his doublet.

It felt…unusual… he thought as he looked himself up and down in the mirror, he tilted his head slightly to the corner of the room where sat two items of interest, two very old bits of history. One was a steel blade with a silver hilt and obsidian orb pommel and the other a battered and worn leather jacket, the silver buckles glinted in the firelight as he walked over to it and smirked ever so slightly. They had been gifts from someone long passed from the realm, someone who had given him strength when he truly had none left, someone who had provided him vision when he was blind, someone who had saved his life and he had failed to repay the favour. Muttering down at the jacket he whispered.
”I still miss you.” Before finally turning his back to the items and heading to the door and out into his appartments.

From then the journey was swift, down the various corridors until he was greeted by a selection of the Fenian guard, about forty guards in total, many of the others were already situated around the capitol, and the cathedral, however he was still needing of guards given he would be carrying no blade as was custom. The soldiers were wearing black leather brigandines covered by silver plate cuirasses and faulds, with matching silver upon the arms completely covered from pauldon to gauntlet and likewise upon the legs with silver cuisse and sabatons. The cuirasses were also etched with the golden symbols of both the wolf and the unicorn, and much like the King they wore cloaks made of wolf fur, some black, some grey, none however quite matched the size and spectacle of the King’s cloak given that his came from a great beast. At their waists also sat blades, ready for use if necessary, but the King hoped it was not required, yet with so many notable individuals from his own Kingdom and others, it would be fool to think some renegade might not try to cause some sort of chaos amongst the festivities.

As he and his guard left the castle and into the court yard he swiftly mounted his stallion, the beast was a black coated destrier that had been his choice steed for most of his time as Monarch. It was large yet powerful and had been quite the friend in both warfare and jousts, and so it was fitting for him to make this journey upon the animal that had carried him this far. As his guard mounted up and presented themselves in formation he turned his steed toward the opened portcullis and made his way, leading the group, out of the castle and for the short journey towards the cathedral. They passed many citizens and subjects upon their way, who bowed and curtsied at the sight of their monarch. Every so often he would acknowledge this with the wave of a gloved hand, however his progress was swift. Afterall, it was quite difficult not to miss the sight of such a large armoured unit moving in formation through the capitol. The weather was grey, and that too amused him slightly. Given it suited one of his brides very well, and was also of a similar sky to their first formal meeting upon that beach, however while cold due to the winter winds, there was no sign of rain or sleet or snow in the sky to trouble him too much. So he continued his course until finally he and his men reached the cathedral.

Dismounting his steed and allowing a pack of squires to take both his horse and those of his companions they began to climb the many steps to the cathedral entrance. The public crowd was also gathering, the peasantry were quick to notice him, given his attired and the crown upon his head, and once again as he reached the top step of the cathedral he turned to his citizens and raised a hand in thanks to a welcome cheer from those in sight. It was a public occasion after all. While the peasantry did not have seats to the event, he had made sure that all the families within the city were to be treated to a rare treat of game, provided freely by the King to his subjects, traditionally illegal for the peasantry to hunt, for them to feast upon at public gatherings in the streets of the capitol. Likewise the ale houses had all been funded in advance to provide free drinks to the citizens who gathered there to celebrate the festivities. He had never forgotten the feeling of hunger and thirst when he had been caged like a beast all those years ago, and he had made sure that on this most blessed of days, none of his subjects should sleep hungry, and that they should all be well fed and watered in honour of this occasion.

As he finally entered the grand cathedral he smiled looking around noting some faces were already within the walls, however he was mightily impressed with the décor of the event, the patterns and flower arrangements were a marvel to behold and he had to make a note to personally thank Mallory for her dedication to this event, for while Aishe had planned so much, Mallory had perhaps been the secret ingredient to get the event over the line, especially given recent weeks of political intrigue that had arrived just before the wedding. His guard began to situate themselves around the room as the royal crier, who had already been situated in the cathedral to announce nobles and dignitaries alike noted the large groups arrival and then with his booming voice informed the crowd within the cathedral of his arrival.
”Lords and Ladies, dignitaries, and honoured guests far and wide please show your respect and loyalty to his imperial majesty, Duke of Northfenshire, the High King of this great kingdom of Fenia, the crowned wolf, Zuan Winterbourne the First.” Slowly he began to make his way up the aisle, followed by two guards, his cloak lightly brushing against the floor, as he made his way toward the altar and an old friend who he had not seen for some time, and in truth looked forward to speaking to once the ceremony was over, after all it was only right for the Royal Historian to be on hand, to witness and record this day for all peoples so they too would know of the spectacle of a wedding between royalty.

Chris sat a table with a chess site in front of him. He was reviewing over it when a servant came in with a letter. He surveyed the board and moved a bishop two squares. His opponent sat there looking at his curious as well. Chris took forth the invitation and read it over. His opponent surveyed the board trying to find his best move. He decided to move a pawn one space closer. "Make sure to write Fenia back and let them we will attend. In the meanwhile...," he said as he moved his Queen to a spot next to the opponent's King. "Checkmate," he stated with a grin. His opponent reviewed over his options and indeed found it was such. "Good game, Viceroy Jabre. You do your family honor with your strategy," the opponent said nodding his head to the leader of Valleria leaving the castle.

As time got closer to the wedding, the leader suited up in regal robes with Valleria's crest on it. The medals shined bright across the chest representing different historical victories during his career. His hair was always a bit wild like the old days of Valleria. His beard thick and his accent a bit at times as well. They rode simply through the Fenia-Valleria border on horses mindful of the journey and taking breaks as needed. They were in no rush as they knew they would be the closest travelers arriving. Entering into Fenia city, Chris stopped first at the local tavern getting a pint and letting the horses get refreshed before the wedding. After a quick drink and some conversations with the locals, he returned to his horse and headed to the cathredral. Upon arriving, the guard on the other horse announced, "Chris Jabre III, esteemed Viceroy of the Republic of Valleria, the land where the sun never rests has arrived." Chris tugged at the robes to make them appear as best as he could. The medals had been shined and he was ready to be at the wedding of the neighbors.

Serendipity cringed inwards, but the mask of respect hid any of unpleasantness of her thoughts. She could hear a light fidget from Mallory, but she placed her hand to the side, palm down, in hopes of discreetly dissuading the vampire of any rebuttal. That hand then rose, motioning down the aisle once again with her head bowed, allowing the Murian leader through without any more words. While she did not hold standing in Fenia, she held one of the highest amongst the Boreens Durri Natsia and to both the brides. However, she was not going to risk an international issue over something she deemed so trivial. She made a mental note to mention something later to the Fenian monarchy, but until then!

With Mira Malice down the aisle, the redhead turned to Mallory with an exasperated expression. The expression lasted a only a moment before she put a wide grin on display. She turned back towards the door, her attention timed perfectly. Brown eyes landed on a golden figure approaching, to whom she dropped into a curtesy. Her smile was once again warmer, perhaps even a touch genuine, as she formally greeted the Surxia monarch.

Your Majesty. On behalf of the High King, welcome to the Viceroyalty of Fenia. We have arranged seats in the front for Your Majesty's viewing.

She was not entirely certain she was heard, but seeing as he proceeded down the aisle, she figured it was enough of a success. Her eyes lingered on him for a moment, intrigued by his attire. Surxia. It had been over a century since she had ventured through. In truth, the people were a bit too self absorbed for her taste. Although, if she had to dine with Mira Malice or Ra Kael, she certainly knew who her choice was.

Turning back, she jumped a bit at the closeness of Aingeal, whose announcement she had missed. Hand over her heart, she shook her head to herself. A safe, secured life left her soft. While her heart returned to a normal pace, she smiled, taking a moment to admire Aingeal's gown.

I'm not entirely sure where Ehsan is. I am been standing here since we've opened the doors. She's close, but that's about all I can tell. The kids are all up front - perhaps they know where their mothers are? Or do you, Mallory? She looked back to Mallory, but a head shake provided an answer while Mallory kept on greeting. Serendipity shrugged lightly to Aingeal. I'd check the kids then. Aileigh may have a better idea.

She left a kiss on Aingeal's cheek as she passed, returning her attention to the entry way. While she kept good poise, her shoulders straightened a bit at the sight of the Fenian King's approached. As he was announced, she dropped down into her finest curtesy, where she remained until he passed, offering up a soft, 'Your Majesty'. As he cleared her lowered line of vision, she straightened and smooth down her gown.

Valleria's leader soon followed. As he approached, Serendipity respectfully dipped her head. She had always found Valleria's saying interesting, but today it amused it. Had Valleria stolen the sun today? Her idle musings were kept to herself as she offered a smile.

On behalf of the High King, welcome to the Viceroyalty of Fenia. It is good to see our neighbors here. Seats have been arranged towards the front for leaders and diplomats. If His Viceroy would follow the aisle, this servant can show you to your seat.

Aileigh was pleased to watch Varann vanish from the rafters, only to reappear next to her. The creature intrigued her scholarly traits. Xie was unique and mysterious; how could she not been intrigued? The girl offered a reassuring smile, Oh, nonsense. There are some very soft stones out there! I am sure the Chronicler can tell you the exacts.

Not wanting to hold up the procession of creatures, Aileigh swiftly slipped her arm around Varann's and began moving forward, not letting go of Aziza's hand. It was in a very matter-of-fact manner that she stated Varann would be sitting with them. If anything, it was just to show that Varann couldn't mess up today's events. There was relief when they reached the front row and her brothers were there. She was quick to settle down into her own seat, so that she could observe the creatures around her.

She watched each foreigner arrive with immense curiosity, trying to sort out who was who. Her readings came in handy, but her lack of world travel hindered her. She exchanged the occasional quiet word of her observations, but otherwise remained quiet and watchful. She was fixated on the creature of gold when her future stepfather was announced. She rose to her feet, only to drop into a curtesy, not caring if she were the only creature in the Cathedral to do so. While she was born and raised in Bravia, she rather enjoyed the culture of Fenia and the intrigue of court. The damphir smiled softly, admiring the High King's cloak, as she sat back down. One down, two more to go.

The Chronicler observed the many guests enter the cathedral in clothing of such craftsmanship that it almost made it rumble in excitement. There was so much to observe that the time it took for all the guests to enter seemed many times longer than the months it had waited in utter silence.

When the king entered it couldn’t help but shudder just once, soon the The Akos and The Aishe would arrive and it had its part to play in this tale. It wondered how the maker would judge it for this, but so much was to be observed and recorded, surely that was worth the price of being part of the tale.

It quietly began to prepare the minor illusion magic it would need for the ritual, the grand cathedral itself was hard to enchant, even with the most unobtrusive of magics thus neither the floor nor the walls could be touched.

Buzz was at the dinner table eating when the letter arrived. The servant put the parchment on a plate. Buzz took a look at it and salted it lightly. Then he ate it. "Tastes like royal paper. What was it," Buzz asked the servant. "An invitation...," the servant replied. "ooooo... more yummies? I am in. Let's go," Buzz said. "I don't think you understand," the servant interjected. "No matter. I want more yummies. we are going," Buzz said. The servant sighed and walked away.

As they neared the city of Fenia, Buzz was chopping on a snack. He looked out the window of the carriage grinning at the thought of all the yummies. "I bet that building has the best ones," he said pointing to the cathedral. "It is where we are going," the servant says with a sigh. Arriving at the enterance, Buzz exits the carriage wearing a while chef's outfit with a chef's hat on. "I am from Bercaria. I am ready for event," Buzz said to the greeters. The servant rolled his eyes slowly and waited patiently.

The snow has been falling leaving a light snow cap. Janice looked out the window of the palace watching the light white. The door to the chambers opened. "Your Majesty, I have recieved word from the Viceoryalty of Fenia. It appears that his majesty King Zuan is getting married to two," the servant said. "Write them back and let them know we will be there," she said standing. "Yes, your majesty," the servant said curtesying. "Now, I must find the perfect outfit for such an event," walking out towards the royal weaver. Entering into the office, she explained the circumstance and an understanding seemed to be reached. "It will be ready for you tomorrow," the weaver said.

The sun set and a new day started. The Queen of Absynia walked into the royal weaver's office and say a dress being modeled.

The Queen pleased took ownership of the dress and because the process of heading towards Fenia city. The carrige arrived with another having just passed. The Queen watched as Bercaria's leader arrived in a chef's outfit. She leaned in to her servant and whispered, "He is a mast short of a galleon isn't he?" The servant giggled a little. The Queen exited the carriage and the servant announced Janice.

"Her Majesty, Queen Janice Shiva of Absynia"

Aingeal was still looking for Aishe, but she was also greeting those that arrived, both friends and others. Amara fidgeted next to her in her dress, and she really needed to find where the little flower girl should be. She curtsied properly when so needed, and smiled as fitting of a Fenian. All the while she was on her guard though, she would not let anyone ruin her cousin's big day. Aingeal also kept one eye out for anything that could threaten the crown of Fenia as well.

While all of the commotion of Zuan's arrival, and a couple other VR leaders, a carriage stopped and let off what appeared to be a baker. Why would they drop him off here, she all but muttered. Brushing down her skirts she handed off Amara's hand to one of the servants and went up to the man.

I am from Bercaria. I am ready for event, she heard the man say. Sighing heavily she went to the man and went to grab his arm. Excuse me sir, I assume you are here for the feast. I knew there might be special cooks coming to help, Aingeal said, trying to draw him away from the crowd. Let me show you where you should be, Aingeal said, still trying to direct the cook.

Buzz nodded quickly. "The feast is why I am here. Show me food. I enjoy them all. Chris go sit," he said letting Aingeal take his arm. The servant was about to correct her, but instead approached Serendipity. "Where shall the representative of Bercaria sit? I am ready to represent my people," the servant stated.
