[Yule Game] Scavenger Hunt

[Texas_Knight]

K7 Looked like a good spot for hunting today. So with shovel and axe TK made his way there wondering what he might uncover.

[Petunia]

She watched happily as some more people arrived to join in the search for treasure and other things, and marked up her chart with the places they'd chosen to look. There was quite a lot of area to search through, so she wasn't expecting everyone to strike lucky at first, and they didn't. But after a while she noticed that Ella seemed to have managed to melt some of the snow, which meant that she was able to find the first item.

"Well done, Ella, you have found a shepherd's pie!" Petunia clapped her hands and smiled.

After a few moments, she looked around and announced to the hunters. "I think that perhaps, as there is quite a lot of ground to cover and as you are working quite quickly, you can each search in two spots each day now. That should give you a greater chance to find something and mean that the game doesn't take forever and a day!" She gave a little chuckle as she finished speaking, then poured herself a helping of hot toddy to keep herself warm as she sat and watched the seekers set off again.

[Elisa]

Elisa hadn't found anything so far, looking around her she tried to find a promising looking spot. She thought to have found it, trying to clear the snow near the trunk from a big tree. (E12 and N8)

[Nikola]

Deciding that the tree in the center of the field looked like a good place to hide small things, Nikola went there to peer through and beneath its boughs.

[Ella]

Since she had success with the fire she decided she should continue with this method of searching. She continued her trail along a new pathway, looking down as she went for anything that might catch her attention.

[Texas_Knight]

Knowing he could cover ground quickly in his true form TK began searching the entire area stopping at A-1 and then T-15

[Lavinia]

Lavinia returned the following day, hoping to cover more ground as Lady Petunia told them they could search in two places. She looked around at a snow covered tree and moved her hands towards it, palms open, whispering "Ventus". A gentle torrent of wind appeared which she manipulated into shaking some of the tree's branches (K 9) and (H 7).

[Petunia]

Petunia alternated taking sips of her hot toddy in between keeping her hands warm in her fur mittens. It was interesting to see how the various people and creatures went about the search, and she could see that although one of them was very near to two of the prizes, actually only one had found something. She clapped her hands again as she called out. "Well done to Texas Knight, who has found a cup of beef stew - that should keep you nice and warm for a while!" She smiled and continued, "Sadly, that was the only find this time, but keep going, everyone - there are lots of things still waiting for you."

[Nikola]

She had found nothing yet under the tree, but she was convinced there was something there. She just couldn't get to it, else her eyes were playing tricks on her. She adjusted her position and tried again.

Not deterred by finding only a log, Foxeon continues to search through the area in a larger spiral (A-14 and B-15).
