Vulkan shock off the dazed dway's attack and swung so the tip of his sword would possibly immobilize dway's left shin. while also bringing his shield up high to see if dway would be able to notice or stop 2 attacks at once.

Dwayberry saw the two blurry Vulkan's move closer and swung her sword back at him, grazing him before she blocked another blow of his shield.
She cursed when she felt a flash of pain in her left leg and jumped backwards, stumbled and fell. She brought her sword up in a last attempt to black any further attacks, refusing to believe it was over yet.

Vulkan walked up to dway who was lieing in the sand and held his blade towards her throat, "surrender ?" Vulkan waited for her response.

Dwayberry glared up at the two blurry Vulkan's, and breathed in and out slowly to keep her calm, feeling the blade against her throat.
Losing from Vulkan was honestly the last thing she thought would happen today. She was one who believed in honour above all things, but this time, the embarrassment of defeat hurt even more than the injuries.
"For now...", she said, and waited for the signal that indicated the end of the duel and Vulkan being pronounced winner, before she carefully pushed his blade aside and got up.
"Congrats... and remember it well, because it will never happen again."
She turned around and stumbled off to go lay down somewhere outside of the arena.

Vulkan walked to the side of the arena, sat down and returned to sharpening his longsword waiting for the announcement of round 2 fights, he hoped he would get zuan, as he wished to take zuan down a peg or two, his wounds where minor and would not cause him any problems in his fight with zuan.

After having rested for a couple of hours, Dwayberry took a seat within the audience, and waited for the net round to start.
She was slowly growing impatient, and started to bang on the chair in front of hers "We want the next round! We want the next round!" She grinned as more and more people in the audience followed her example.

Aphrodite joined Dwayberry's chant. "She's right! We want the next round!" She encouraged the crow to join them. "Next round! Next round! Next round!!!" She clapped her hands while in line with the chanting.

Looking over the new listings, she can't help but grin gleefully. After the disappointment of the previous round, the chance to potentially beat the Lord Commander more than made up for it. Unhitching her axe, she shoulders it and stalks her way towards the center of the arena. Even knowing this was only a tourney match, her blood is up and she has no intention of going easy on her cousin. No doubt they'd both be disappointed if she gave him less than her best. She looked forward to the challenge.
