The dawn had arrived and left, and those who had agreed to join in the hunt against the bandits were now a long way towards their final destination. They had got some minor scout reports both of the region and of the skill of the bandits, and Zuan was confident that those around him would be strong enough to deal with the bandit incursion that was plaguing the village.
He himself was wearing silver chainmail armour, with white steel graves and boots, his right arm and shoulder was completely covered in a steel guard, where as his left arm was only covered to the elbow, designed to give him greater manoeuvrability with his sword arm, whilst protection on his shield arm. He did not wear a helmet, and his shiled was rounded, strapped to his arm and was also made of steel, however atop this was a black coat of leather which outlined the Fenian dragon as his emblem. In terms of weaponry he carried with him two daggers, a steel long sword, and one iron spear, which he planned to use from afar as he charged towards the town, whilst using his other weapons for close combat.

As they reached the village it was clear that whilst there were bandits on patrol, there was no organisation, it would be simply enough to strike like lighting through the first defences and from there work their way through the village, cutting their own paths through whilst slightly more risky would at least allow them to cause more chaos, and then in turn hopefully cause the bandit commander to rear his ugly head, only for them to remove it. However first they would need to kill his soldiers.

The group had split up, Mazork was already ahead of them and it appeared that the limited numbers on watch had already been dispersed, and so he wasted little time. Riding his horse down the hillside, picking up pace he road in towards the village. Already as he came in closer he could see one bandit climbing onto the roof, crossbow in hand, clearly having seen Zuan from a lower level. However before the Bandit could even raise his bow to take aim at the rider, Zuan had thrown his spear directly at the guard. The weapon pierced through the chainmail body armour, and splintered upward into his shoulder killing him in an instant. As Zuan road past, and entered the town, the body of the dead guard fell from the roof-tops, leaving Zuan to dismount and tackle the rest of the village on foot.

He smirked at the sound of battle, he charged forwards short sword in hand ready to attack but he paused as he heard a crash and someone shouting. That one moment of pause was his undoing as he turned around he felt the sharp pain an arrow hit him in the shoulder, the force made him stumble and fall to his knees. He growled angrily and tore the arrow in two, leaving the tip and part of the shaft in. A reminder to not let others hamper his progress.

Vulkan had heard about the Bandit Hunt and was running late instead of attacking from the front, Vulkan planned to attack from the rear.

Vulkan made his way round the Outskirts of the town before after sometime he came across a pair of bandits sitting round a small fire while on watch.

Vulkan sat behind a nearby rock, listening in on them, trying not to move to much and causing them to become aware of his presence, Vulkan took out a crossbow and loaded it watching there movement taking a rock, Vulkan threw the rock and it cracked and smashed into the ground near there campfire.

As they spun around, Vulkan pealed round the corner with his crossbow in hand, fired a bolt at the furthest Bandit, the bolt hit the man square in the chest, he hit ground with a thud.

Vulkan swung his crossbow to the side and threw it to the floor and pulled his sword from his sheathe, as the 2nd bandit took out sword as the bandit went swing, Vulkan was already to close for an effective hit with the blade, Vulkan struck the bandit across the face with the hilt of his sword as he swept a leg under the bandits legs taking him off his feet. as the bandit went down Vulkan met the bandits heart with his blade. As the 2nd bandits body slumped to the ground, Vulkan knelled next to his corpse and closed the eyelids of the bandit. Before looking up and seeing the 1st bandit trying to drag himself away.

Vulkan walked up to the wounded bandit, placing his foot upon his back raising his blade and finishing the bandit off.

Vulkan then set to burying the corpses.

As they made their way to the village, Fallyn stayed in the middle of the group, then gradually trailed to the back. She wanted to keep to herself as much as possible and she didn't care for having to work with people whose fighting style she didn't know. She disliked being late, but in this case it might be better to first see what the others might encounter. The bandits would probably come out of hiding as soon as the others entered the village, and she could use that to her advantage.
During the trip, she came to understand the goal was to kill every bandit, not arrest them. It was the proper decision, she decided. Criminals could rarely be turned into good people.

The others quickly dispersed into the outstretched village. Fallyn could merely tell from muffled cries when they encountered a bandit. She had hoped they would come out of hiding, but no such luck. She frowned, exhaled sharply, pulled her sword in a quick motion, and strode forward into the village. She would just look for them then, and find them she would.
Fallyn slowed down when she walked deeper into the village, and listened more carefully for any sounds, scanned the surroundings for signs a bandit might be near. She passed a small building, the door standing ajar, and glanced inside. It looked like a ceramics shop, or rather the remains of it. Clearly, the bandits had plundered the place, leaving it a mass of shards and dust.

A sudden burning pain in her left leg caused her to yelp. She turned her head sharply and spotted a man quickly hiding behind another house further down the narrow street. Fallyn didn't hesitate, but burst into the ceramics shop before the bandit could shoot second arrow. Hissing in anger and annoyance, she looked down. The arrow had only grazed her, but blood was staining her leather leggings.
Fallyn sat down on a small table and checked the wound. It wasn't much, but it was bloody. She rested her sword against the table and pulled a clean rag from the small backpack she brought. She quickly tied it around her leg, then looked up. She could chase the bandit or wait until he would come looking for her.
Ariada

Ariada stretched out her broken leg, cringing, then closed her eyes and called to the forest behind her for its protection. Vines sprouted from the ground below, enveloping her leg. The forest poured its natural healing into the vines, setting the bone and putting a month worth of regeneration into it. The pain slowly dulled, and Ariada sighed with relief. "Thank you, forest spirits," she whispered, as the vines melted away from her leg and disappeared back into the earth. She pulled up her leg, wincing slightly at the stiffness, and tried to stand on it. The leg still hurt, but she could at least walk. She fell back to the woods with the rest of the archery group to pick a new vantage point. One argued for going down into the village and joining the main fight, while another wanted to climb higher up the cliffs. Ariada shook her head, and turned back to the ridge they had been standing on. It was a risk, with the rocks so unsteady, but it was still their best view for shooting down the bandits without being seen.

Ariada crept back along the pathway, careful not to disturb the bluffs behind her, and took out her bow to aim at the bandits below. She saw a man duck behind one house after having shot one of the King's fighters. She pointed her arrow straight at him with grim determination. A burning pain bloomed at her side, jerking her arm so that when she released the arrow it flew wildly off course. Ariada checked her side and found her clothes and skin burned away. "What the..." she looked around sharply, trying to find the source of her injury. It was almost as if someone was throwing fireballs.... "Mage!" she shouted, spotting the bandit on the roof of one building, a ball of glowing fire billowing in his hands. She hastened back to the cover of the forest, calling out, "The bandits have a mage!"

Ariada grabbed her burnt side, groaning in pain. She looked around frantically for an aloe leaf. She ran off deeper into the forest, away from the group. Finally she spotted the soothing leaves, and grabbed a handful to press to her wound. "Ahh that's better," she sighed, cutting strips from her tunic to tie the leaves on securely. Then she looked around, trying to figure out where the rest of the archers went.

Vulkan, choose to set up a trap at the base of the original two guards to see if any more would appear. The trap consisted of a trip wire and a log holding up rocks, when triggered it would collapse on to what triggered it.

After sometime nothing had turned up.

Returning to the camp after a well-earned rest, Cathrina had her sword and the knife she managed to loot from the bandit's corpse. Taking to the trees, she looked around the camp, until she noticed a bandit wandering about, but before she got off the tree, the man had slipped out of sight, causing her to use words certainly unfit for a lady.

Rolled a 3 also :( )

Kael growled and ran up to the crowbower and slashed across. The bandit dodged and tripped Kael up, how could he have missed. He needed to focus and remember his training, there was no way he would let himself die in this mage forsaken hole.

As soon as she heard the sound of slow footsteps through the narrow street, Fallyn rose and carefully positioned herself next to the door. She held her sword raised, ready to strike should the bandit enter.
The sound of the footsteps increased in volume, then stopped. Fallyn breathed shallowly and slowly, as to not make a sound. Eventually she heard the footsteps again, and the sound faded. The idiot criminal couldn't find her.

She clenched her jaw. Maybe it was better to be heard and send him straight at her. Her leg still hurt, so it would be easier to let him come to her than to chase him.
She kicked a broken pot with her good leg. It rolled through the shop, crashed into a cupboard and broke into a mass of smaller shards. The footsteps came running back and not long after, the bandit burst inside, holding his bow ready. But Fallyn was faster. She brought her sword down over his arm, purposely not killing him instantly. The bandit yelled in pain and surprise, dropped his arrow to grab at his bleeding arm in reflex. Fallyn lifted her sword and rested it against the man's throat, pushing just hard enough to create a small trickle of blood. He ceased yelling and just hissed, holding his hand firmly over his trembling arm to try stop the bleeding.

"Where's your leader, who are you working for?! Tell me!", Fallyn demanded. The bandit didn't answer. She pressed her sword harder into his throat. "Tell me! Now!", with a more quiet hiss she added "If you want to live."
The bandit managed as much of a grin as was possible in his state. He looked at her with a mixture of hate and defiance. Fallyn slashed his throat, quickly and easily silencing him forever. She then took his bow and arrows. She wasn't very good with a bow herself, but better she take his weapons than another bandit. She then left the shop and resumed her search for other bandits.

Cathrina set off to the bandit camp again, a wry smile on her face in hopes of making up for wasted time during her last visit there. Squatting in the nearby bushes, she waited patiently, holding the dagger she stole that other day. A bandit moved past the bushes and she tossed a pebble behind him. As the man turned around, she crept up on him, slitting his throat.
Soon a second bandit showed up, seeing what she's done, swinging a knife her way, shouting "You're dead, little blond wench!" Drawing her sword, she turns to face the bandit, scoffing "We'll see about that." The bandit was enraged, rushing at her, but to his surprise she sidesteps him, slashing at him, causing a deep cut in his chest. As the man falls on the ground, he hisses through his teeth "You got lucky this time, little girl."
