( Kael_Storsai rolls 1d6 and gets 2. yay :D )

He snarled at the crossbow bandit, the man had reloaded already and was preparing himself to aim then fire. Kael wouldn’t let it happen, with his short sword in hand side stepped past the crossbow and whacked the crossbower with the hilt of his blade, the bandit stumbled back a few steps holding his hands to his chin moaning at the sudden pain. Kael gave the bandit no time to recover in one swift turn on the ball of his feet, he unsheathe the Sai from his back and slit the man’s throat. Swift and fluid like the wind of Arcadia on a winters day.

Kael heard the bandit fall but did not bother to look at him, instead he took the crossbow and smirked. He aimed at a further away bandit who was stationed ontop of a small village town roof. Kael steadied his aim and pulled the trigger. The bolt pierced the air silently flying past bandits and Fenian soldiers it met with the bandit’s shoulder sending him spinning and falling into the ground. If the bolt hadn’t killed the bandit the fall would’ve done enough damage. "Neva like archers..." he threw the crossbow aside with disgust, it wasn't his weapon of choice. But it killed and thats all that mattered.

With a big smirk he moved onto the next group of bandits.

[Rolled 1]

With grim determination, Fallyn continued her search. One down, many more to go.
She didn't have to search long. She spotted them as soon as she rounded the corner. There, not far from town centre, were two bandits looting the village temple. They just carried another relic out when Fallyn yelled at them.
"Drop that right now!"

At first, they froze. Then, the bigger of the two let go of the relic, causing his mate to drop it before it landed on his toes. The bigger one cursed loudly and drew his sword, running over to Fallyn. She prepared herself for the encounter. If he came to her, all she had to do was wait and be ready.
Her frown deepened as she stood there. It was as if she watched the bandit ran over to her in slow motion. He swung his sword high over his head, opened his mouth wide to roar.
Fallyn waited till the last moment, brought her sword back swiftly and stabbed the bandit in the stomach. She twisted the weapon fiercely before withdrawing it and ducked to avoid his arm, and sword, coming down at her. He missed her and fell to his knees, moaning as blood spilled from the wound in his stomach. Fallyn spun around and whacked her sword onto his back. The bandit sank to the ground completely. His breath came in slow, rasping gasps. The breathing of a dying man. Fallyn placed her sword and one of her feet on his back, grabbed his head and twisted, breaking his neck.

She picked up her sword and wiped the blood on the dead man's shirt. Her eye fell on his own sword and her brow furrowed. It was a big, heavy and rusty thing. It would not make her any more agile, but she didn't like the idea of leaving a weapon behind that could be used by another bandit. Maybe she could get rid of the extra weapons elsewhere.
Now holding a sword in each hand, she scanned the surroundings. The other bandit was gone. He either thought his mate could deal with her alone, or he didn't care about helping him. She started to walk in the direction where she expected the other one had fled.

Zuan continued into the village on foot, he could hear sounds of fighting around him, yet his own path seemed clear, and so keeping low as he ran forward he attempted to make his way towards the town center. However as he made it further into the village he heard a loud shout from his left, turning towards the noise he could only hope that the others were making progress, but this distraction had cost him. Without so much as a whisper to give him away, a Bandit had rushed up behind Zuan, and attempted to plant a knife into the Kings back, however the weak iron barley made it through the plate mail.

Zuan spun on his feet, elbowing the bandit in the side of his head, forcing him to recoil, as Zuan pulled the blade out from his lower back, and threw it on to the ground, allowing the bandit to draw his sword, and attempt to swing at Zuan. The untrained and careless bandit's swing was wild, clearly his eyes were blinded by glory and heroics, attempt to kill a King, and make a name for himself. Yet Zuan simply moved his weight backwards, and the blade missed him by a good few inches. Giving somewhat of a cold laugh, which only enraged the bandit, he watched in mild amusement as he continued to swing at Zuan, each time missing the target. Without warning however Zuan ducked one of the bandits strikes, before pulling his own blade up, and pulling it upward slicing through the right side of the face of the bandit, who screamed in agony. However the bandit was not dead, simply maimed, possibly blinded in his right eye, and still swinging his sword, even wilder, with even more rage, Zuan brought his own sword up preparing to strike for the kill.

Cathrina headed for the camp in hopes to bring another piece of filth down. Smirking and over-confident, she headed inside the camp, but a bandit threw a knife at he from behind, causing her to wince and curse violently as the blade lodged in her shoulderblade.

[Rolled 2]

As Fallyn searched for the fleeing bandit, she passed a well on the village square. She tossed in the big, rusty sword of the bandit she just killed and, after short hesitation, also the bow and arrows. It was a waste, but the extra load slowed her down without being very beneficial towards her fighting skills.
She was just looking into the black depth of the well, waiting for the splash that indicated the weapons hitting the water, when someone wrapped an arm around her throat. Fallyn immediately elbowed the person in the side with her sword arm, causing her to leave less of an impact than she otherwise would have made. She brought her free hand towards the arm trying to strangle her. Not bothering to attempt pulling the arm away yet, she just dug her nails deeply into the skin, and scratched hard.
The bandit holding her weakened his grip and cursed. He however used his other arm to try force her over the side of the well. Fallyn brought her sword horizontally between herself and the gaping hole, leaning on it, and kicked hard behind her. She frowned in grim satisfaction, as she could hear by the pitch of the bandit's yell she hit the exact spot she meant to hit. She lowered herself back on her feet and spun around fast, swinging her sword through the air.
Fallyn's sword hit nothing but thin air, but she caught herself before the momentum could throw her off balance. Her frown deepened. How could she have forgotten that men in severe pain rarely stay on their feet? There he was, moaning at her feet, holding his hands protectively over his privates. She wasted no more time and stabbed him in the heart area, then stepped over him.

How could she not have heard him approach? Fallyn looked around slowly, holding her sword unsheathed and ready, and listened.
She heard a faint sound of battle coming from elsewhere in the village, and started to walk in that direction. It could be the King being in trouble.
Before she found the source of the sound of struggle, Fallyn spotted another bandit coming out of a shop. This one was female, or what should pass as female. She looked big, fat rather than muscular, and grimy, and was dressed in a simple, slightly worn leather armor. She was holding a large ham swung over her shoulder in one hand and a dagger in the other.
Fallyn ran over to the woman as fast as she could with an injured leg. The bandit spotted her, then looked slightly smug, apparently confident she could use her size against Fallyn.
"Come 'ere skinny!", she yelled. Her double tongue didn't hide her thick accent. Clearly, this woman had pillaged more than a butchery shop.
Once within reach, Fallyn raised her sword over her head and brought it down diagonally, fast. In a reflex, combined with drunk stupidity, the female bandit swung down the ham to block Fallyn's blow rather than her dagger.
Fallyn had expected a blow from the bandit's other arm. The ham collided with her sword, causing a chunk to be cut off and fly through the air. In a moment of confusion, Fallyn let her sword move off balance. The bandit grinned seeing herself successful, and tried to whack Fallyn with the ham, this time intentionally. Before the ham even reached her, Fallyn connected her fist with the woman's jaw. Then, she took a firmer grip on her sword and sliced into the woman's shoulder. The bandit cried out and let go of the ham.
"Fight with a real weapon!", Fallyn demanded.
The bandit growled and brought her dagger down towards Fallyn's face. She simply stepped back, waited, then thrust her sword into the woman's arm. Hissing in pain, the bandit stabbed at Fallyn again, who blocked the motion with her sword and immediately kicked the other woman with her good leg. The bandit stumbled backwards, then tripped. Fallyn came after her swiftly, placed a foot on the woman's arm holding the dagger, and slit her throat.

Sneaking inside the camp, Cathrina looked around cautiously. Suddenly, a bandit went out of the bushes, shouting insults, that would make even a wench, working at the local brothel blush at her. After a long scuffle, the bandit was laying in the dirt, covered in blood. Cahrina wiped her sword with a bloody cloth, then heads back to her tent.
