To talk, to talk. Brains were spinning in the head of a little Elf. He was not so used to talking, but he could not just remain silent. Maybe... Maybe he could sing? Sometimes in the tavern he would sing to people here silly songs about a beaver who wanted to build a dam but could not find a would or about a reindeer who found a magical fountain of vodka and forget they could not fly. Maybe he could sing some of those? Yes! He will.
Little Elf started to sing about a fox that had beautiful tail and a rooster who wanted to have a tail like foxes. And about the nice chicken soup that was foxes secret recipe.

-She sits there listening to him with a big smile on her face, not believing he is singing to her. It is an odd song but none the less she thinks it is lovely and just keeps smiling at him-

Seeing that his guest like the song Drakonkrabas started to forget him self singing louder and acting out verses. As he was getting close to the last part where fox convinced naive rooster to to jump in the pot Drakonkrabas showed roosters dive a bit too convincing falling of the chest he was sitting and rolling under the table. Why all my songs always ends up under the table? Asked elf himself when suddenly somebody loudly knocked the doors

-She laughed softly at him at his antics with the song, clapping at the end of the song and then looking under the table at him, smiling softly- Um that was an interesting song you sung -Turns her head quickly when she hears the loud knocking on the door- Oh, was you expecting more company?

As the door opened muscular gnome wearing uniform of the city guards entered the hut. His angry grimmest (or was it just a poker face for gnomes?) changed into a surprise when he saw Drakonkrabas under the table next to the Mayor of the city. In a moment his professional demeanour was restored and he took a piece of parchment (impresing Drakonkrabas who did not recognised that a man was holding document clearly upside down) and started his business in a neutral tone (also known as barking in monosyllabic grunts for non gnomes)

-She stared at the gnome that entered then looked at Drakonkrabas- Do you know him? What is this about?

Seeing that he is being ignored Gnome was slightly bit confused or maybe offended. Despite that bravely he continue to read (well obviously pretend to read, but Drakonkrabas could not tell the difference). In other circumstances little elf would be afraid by such strange grunts and that threatening guard entered without invitation, but now. Maybe it was vodka maybe it was presence of Myst, but he managed to more or less copy the attitude of the lady and answer her rather than listening to the gnome.

"I know him not."

Was this true? Drakonkrabas could not be sure he did not remembered quite a lot of evenings and sometimes days as well. So maybe has some sort of drinking buddy ? But surely he did not sound like one....

"My gnomish is slightly rusty"

It was better than to say that he did not understood a word uninvited guest said. In reality Drakonkrabas knew around 10 gnomish words most of them related with drinking and some with romantic relationships between people, but he could swear none of those was mentioned.

"What is he saying?"

-She clears her throat and speaks gnomish to the guard to find out why he is there, they speak for a few brief moments and the guard leaves beet red, she then turn her attention to Drakonkrabas, laughing a bit- Well, he was to prank someone and scare them being all scary like, but he had the wrong house for one and he was reading the paper upside down for another. -giggles-

Drakonkrabas sit back on the chest and laughed.
"Well he should try harder if he wants to scare somebody."
A innocent little boast ? That might be. But truth be told Drakonkrabas was not afraid. He had no time to reflect this fact yet it was so... He did not remembered the last time he was that brave (it was day before yesterday when he got into a barking competition with a neighbour's dog (and won) but since he did not remember that it does not count)
"Where did you learned to speak such good gnomish?"

-She grins at him- Since being here and around so many different people I have learned so many other languages. It comes in handy now since being Mayor. So where was we before being rudely interrupted? -chuckles softly- Ah yes, you rolling under the table. That was a nice song by the way.
