In one of the richer districts of Spirus sits the homes of some of the longest living citizens, those which came to Spirus when its doors opened. Karcier Aisu held a house there, with every day he had worked and money he had saved he'd finaly been able to purchase the home a few months back. It would be a nice place to live and hopefully to share one day. Sitting besides a few other houses of varying models, this one has a small pond built infront of it somewhat mimicking a castles trench as a path links the house to the road.
The house still smells fresh and new but soon it would be filled with exotic smells from his experimental cooking, he smiled knowing this was His home. He had to admit it was a longer walk to his blacksmith shop but it was none the less his. He smiled to himself.
"Welcome to Kelona." he muttered to himself. Kelona, the name of their homeland and now the name of his house.

Carrying a rather large bag containing all her belongings Faia looked at the map again. She was fairly sure she had gotten the street right but she still couldn’t find the house Karcier had described for her. She grumbled a little annoyed and trotted off down the right side of the road, her eyes flickering back and forth from the map to the surrounding houses. Finally a house resembling the description came in to view and she carefully folded the map and put it in her pocket.
Standing in front of the house she took the time to look it over slowly. She took a deep breath knowing this was about to become her home and stepped on to the path linking it to the road. Soon she arrived at the front door and dropped her bag at her feet. She smiled to herself and knocked on the door before taking a step back waiting for an answer.
Victorious enjoyed the ride back from Fenia City where she escorted her friend Dante. Thankfully there were no problems along the way just as she suspected. She gave her driver the directions to her friend's house, Faia, and looked out the carriage window as they reached the gates of Widu. It was a fine city and was looking to get to know more of it during her visit with her friend.
The carriage finally stopped and Sean opened the carriage door for her, "Milady we have arrived at your friend, Faia's home. Victorious took the hand that Sean offered her. "Thank you Sean, please take one of the twins and I will carry Ermalyse." Sean nodded his head and carried the little prince in his arms and followed Lady Victorious to the door.
Victorious knocked on her door and waited for an answer.

With her pale skin and lack of respiration anyone who might have seen Faia at this moment would have perceived her to be dead. But every once in a while she turned a little and muttered some inaudible words. In fact she was merely half asleep on the couch but still the nightmares hunted her. She was unable to get any rest during the day and often struggled to get through the night as well. Suddenly a burst of pain shot from her abdomen and she woke up with a yelp and jerked herself upwards violently enough to send her crashing to the floor. Flustered and confused she held her stomach and gritted her teeth until the pain finally subsided. She took a deep breath and with one hand on the couch and the other on the table she managed to pull herself back up and on to the couch. She cursed under her breath for being this weak. She hated it.
The knock on the door pulled her from the thoughts and she slowly got up. It surely wasn’t Karcier coming home and she was only expecting one other person to stop by. A smile curled her lips at the anticipation of seeing her best friend. With wobbly steps she made sure to straighten out her posture on the way to the front door. She didn’t want Vic to see her like this. She already had to pull out the heavy artillery to get her to come and Vic always thought she was being a burden when in fact Faia needed her here just as much. Staggering through the hallway she caught a glimpse of her own reflection in the mirror and she stopped dead in her tracks and gasped. Dumbfounded she just stood there staring at the mirror. She hadn’t seen her own reflection since she was turned. Slowly and with a shaking hand she reached out to touch the mirror as if it somehow would disappear within the blink of an eye. But it didn’t. Her own hazel eyes were staring bluntly back at her and the face she saw barely unrecognizable to herself.
Vic heard a commotion inside and expected Faia to come to the door but she hadn' yet. This concerned Vic somewhat. She told her she needed her but she couldn't imagine why. She waited a little longer and still no response so she rapped on the door again. Maybe Faia was sleeping. She knew how tired she was getting. That could be he only explanation why Faia was not coming to the door.
She suddenly got this dreadful feeling that coursed her whole body. She didn't like this feeling and became worried for her friend. She wondered if something was seriously wrong with Faia.
She then called out her name "Faia, it's Vic are you there?"

Still staring at her own reflection that she barely recognized Faia was speechless. How was this possible? She was desperately trying to wrap her head around it but failed miserably. Another knock on the door cut through her strain of thoughts and finally made Faia move again. She closed her eyes and rested her forehead against the mirror. This was a time of change and not even the undead were staying dead. She placed a hand on her belly and smiled as she felt the baby kick. It wasn’t the first time but it was only recently that she had started to actually feel the life that was growing inside her. “Nothing of this should be possible” she muttered mainly addressed to her reflection.
"Faia, it's Vic are you there?" She heard Vic’s voice and turned towards the front door. She shook her head, swallowed hard and straightened out her back “I’m coming Vic. Just a sec” she yelled back and closed the gap between her and the door as fast as she could. Which in vampire terms were as slow as a turtle.
Upon opening the door Faia rested her right hand against the door frame as she offered a bright fanged smile to greet her friend. Briefly she just looked at her before she took a step forward and wrapped her arms around Vic in a tight embrace. “Welcome!”
The door finally opened and Faia appeared though she wasn't the cheerful friend she was used to. Something was definitely wrong but she couldn't put her finger on it. She looked terrible. "Faia you aren't looking so good. This is Sean my driver he helped me bring the twins in. I hope you don't mind."
She walked inside and asked Sean to occupy the children while she had a chat with her friend. She shut the door behind her. "Faia why don't we go sit down in your kitchen. I think we need to talk."

Faia pulled back from the embrace and nodded at Sean. She smiled but made sure not to show her fangs even though she was pretty sure Sean would be used to it, it was a habit that she had found necessary when living amongst humans. Faia offered another smile to her friend and shrugged. “I’ve been better but I’ve been worse too” She chuckled and motioned for them both come in. She hoped that Vic wouldn’t see through her little white lie but knew that there was only a very slim chance of that. “You’re all welcome and I’ve prepared the guest rooms for you and the children. I’m sure we can find a suitable room for Sean as well if he is staying?”
Faia moved towards the living room as she motioned for Sean to follow. “I’ve bought a few toys for the little ones perhaps this would be a good time to show it to them? They’re on the dining room table at the far end of the living room. I’m sure you can’t miss them Sean” she turned back towards Vic and nodded before heading in to the kitchen. She expected Vic to follow as she was the one requesting it. Leaning against the kitchen counter she turned back to face her best friend. She put up the happy appearance as she had grown accustomed to these past months. “What is it Vic? I hope your journey went well and that Dante has been safely accompanied to Fenia?”
Victorious smiled back at her friend but only because Sean was around. "Thanks Sean it means a lot to me if you can watch the little rascals until we are done."
She then followed Faia to her kitchen and watched her closely. The feeling was not leaving her body so she knew something was up with Faia. It all depended on how long Faia would take to tell her why she looked so terrible.
"Alright we are alone now so you can stop faking. What is wrong with you? Please don't lie to me because I can feel something is wrong in every fiber of my being. Now I can see why you tried so hard to get me to come.Victorious waited and observed her friend.

Faia sighed and moved to the kitchen table and slumped down on to one of the chairs. She looked back at Vic and smiled crooked though it was only a shadow of her usual smile. “I knew you’d see through me. I’ve never been able to hide anything from you. I guess this time is no different.” Faia chuckled as she looked towards the hallway briefly before her gaze returned to Vic. “Do you cast a reflection Vic?” Her mind was still boggled by the fact that she had seen her own reflection. She knew Vic wouldn’t let her change the subject that easily but this in fact had something to do with what was going on. At least that was the only explanation that she could think of.
Faia reached out for Vic’s hand and squeezed it lightly. “I’m glad you agreed on coming. I’ve missed you Vic.” For a moment Faia was surprised at how cold Vic's hand was cool compared to her won but didn't think further of it, after all she did just come in from outside and the fall was blowing cooler winds now.
