A Trip to Imperius

[Ladyblackhawk]

Emerald gets off her horse and hands it over to the stable hand.
She watches her children dismount then watches Kendor.
Hearing him promise to be good she giggles, then hearing him mention a dance
" Can I think about that Kendor its a long way off."
They all head inside Emerald heads to the kitchen to say there was a guest for the evening meal.
James and Grace had taken Kendor into the sitting room.
Within minuits drinks were brought in, Emerald had gone to change out of her riding clothes.

[Kendor]

He saw her smile, "When she asked him if she could think about it."
He agreed she could take time to decide.
Kendor talke0d with the children while waiting for Em.
He asked them questions obout Imperius, school, what they liked doing.
When Em came back into room, he couldn't help but watch her.

Emerald could hear him chatting to her children as she came nearer the sitting room.
She entered and sat on her favourite seat by the fireplace.
Grace looked at her mother and smiled, then went to get changed.
Emerald poured herself a drink and noticed Kendor already had one.
" If you need the bathroom I am sure James will show you the way."
She sat back in her chair relaxing.

[Kendor]

"I'm fine Em, just enjoying James and Grace telling me all about Imperius."
He sat drinking his drink and smiled at her.
"Excuse me, James could you show me where to go."
As James showed him to the bathroom.
He thought about Em.

Emerald sat listening to him , then watched her son take Kendor to the bathroom.
James came saying he ha told Kendor how to get back, Grace came into the sitting room.
" Mommy can we go swimming tomorrow after our lessons?"
Looking at her children Emerald replied
" Lets see how the weather is, I don't want us all catching a cold."
Then they sat chatting about going swimming waiting for Kendor to come back.

[Kendor]

Kendor found his way back..
He heard them talking about swimming.
He didn't say anything, just sat listening to them chatting.
He missed sitting and talking to his mother.
He kept looking over at Em.

Emerald could feel his eyes on her and looked straight back at him.
" Do you swim Kendor?"
" The children and myself are chatting about going swimming tomorrow, you are welcome to join us."
She looked at him, wondering if he could swim, most people could.
Just then they were told the meal was ready.
" Please lets go eat, I am hungry."

[Kendor]

He looked in her eyes and winked, "Yes Em I do swim, I always swam in Paz. I to am hungry . I would love to go swimming with you."
He walked with them to the table.
He pulled Em's chair and held it.

Emerald smiled and enjoyed him holding her chair for her.
" Thankyou Kendor, I look forward to going swimming, we do wear swim suits."
The children giggled and tucked into their meal
The cook had prepared a beautiful meal of steak and all the trimming, for dessert was apple pie.
" Hope your meal is too your liking Kendor."
She said tucking into her steak.

[Kendor]

Kendor laughed, "Em I promise I will be dressed to swim."
"I will enjoy eating with you."
He sat down next to Em and dug in having seconds on everthing.
When it was time for desert he had a big peice of pie.
