A Trip to Imperius

Emerald looks at Kendor and smiles.
" Well tomorrow the twins can ride and we can travel in the carriage, how does that sound?"
" Then if want Kendor I will teach you to ride a horse, we do have some gentle ones."
Emerald knew that way they would see more of each other and who knows
Grace was the first to say how much she loved doing lessons at school, James added he enjoyed going to school also.
Grace looked at Kendor and smiled at him.
"Please say you would like to learn to ride, we can have fun racing you then."
James laughed, both children were good riders.

[Kendor]

He smiled and said. “There is nothing I would like more than having your Mother teach me to ride.” But I’m afraid it will take me some time to ride well enough to race.” “He smiled at Em, May I have a seat Em.”

Emerald looked at him and laughed
"Please sit down, I am sorry , where was my manners and now that drink."
She giggled as Grace sat next to him chatting away about riding.
" You will soon learn Kendor, the children will make sure."
Emerald gave him hot coffee and smiled at him.
The children drank milk and offered fresh cookies to him.
" Always plenty of fresh cookies here and cakes."
Sitting at the table Emerald felt at ease.

Taking a cookie he savored the taste. “Em this is wonderful. Now you have to keep me. How could you send me away from these cookies.”He sat listening to the children talk about riding. He asked questions about what they said. Glancing at Em he smiled.

Emerald looked at him and chuckled.
" You can take some home with you Kendor, then tomorrow you will get to taste all our other goodies."
She noticed the children were happily chatting to him, this made her smile, even James was happy chatting to him.
Emerald was starting to enjoy the cheeky fella about, could this be the start of romance.

[Kendor]

He grinned, "I would love to take your sweets home." He gave her a look of burning desire. That threatened to ignite a passion never before known.
"Em. I am really looking forward to having the picnic."
He reached over and took her hand a shock went up his arm.
He lifted her hand to his lips as he looked into her eyes, he softly kissed her hand. But how he wished it was her lips.

Emerald looked at him, the kiss on her hand sent tingles through her arm.
"I will make you up a goody bag Kendor to take home."
She smiled at him, knowing he had other things on his mind, he was going to be quite an handful.
Emerald had really enjoyed his company and really looked forward to their picnic.

He saw the light come into her eyes as she realised what he meant..
He intended to marry her.
He smiled cheekily and sat talking with the children..
The chidren were intelligent and well behaved.
When Em came back and handed him the packagehis hand touched hers.
He fought the desire to pull her into his arms and kiss her passionately.

Emerald handed him the package containing goodies, his hand touched hers again, it felt wonderful.
She sat listening to her children chatting to him, feeling happy inside.
They had always been polite children and always friendly but they were never this friendly with a stranger.
Her eyes met his , she could see more than mischief in them.
Was this meeting meant to be, was he her new future, Emerald could only wait to find out.

He saw her look at him and he smiled.
The children asked him questions and he asnwered them.
They as children do asked a questionabout their mother.
If he liked her, he decided to be as honest without pushing it.
He said, "I like your mother very much and with your permission I would like to see her for dinner after the picnic."
