A Trip to Imperius

Emerald gave her children a look when she heard them ask him about her
.James laughed and said yes you can take our mother out anytime, Grace said yes of course.
Emerald couldnt believe what she was hearing, her own children agreeing to let him take her out.
" Excuse me, but I should be the one to be asked not my children."

Kendor grinned, "I'm sorry Em. I asked for their permission to see you. I was going to ask you if you would do me the honor of seeing me for dinner. "
He gave his most charming smile to her.

Looking at him Emerald didn't fall for his charming smile
" Yes I will go out for dinner again Kendor."
She looked at Grace and James giving them the look of I am the grown up.
" Now its bedtime for you two, say goodnight to our guest."

[Kendor]

Kendor realized he would soon be alone with her.
Seeing the look she gave the children.
He hoped they weren't in to much trouble.
"Em, I hope you aren't to mad at them. They were curious and asked. I believe in telling them all the truth they can handle. If you notice I didn' t telll them I intend on making you my wife"

Emerald watched her children head out and was ready to follow them when Kendor spoke.
" My children arent in trouble but I liked at be asked."
Then she burst out laughing hearing him say he intended to make her his wife.
" Really Kendor, people normally marry for love, not for the fun of it"
She gave him a look and excused herself to say goodnight to her children.

[Kendor]

"Em, I want you to know that from the first time I saw you I have been so deeply in love with you. We are meant to be together.
" I know you feel something even if you are fighting it."
He looked her in the eyes.

She came back into the room and listened to him, looking at him she replied
" Yes Kendor I have enjoyed your company very much, but I need to get to know you before I say yes I love you back."
Emerald looked at him, he was different and she liked what she saw.
" So please Kendor don't rush me."

"Em take all the time you need. I just want you to know where I stand."
He smiled at her and sat quietly, "If you have any questions for me I will answer them."
He thought to himself that she was very beautiful.

Emerald sat looking at him her hands round a mug of hot tea.
" Don't worry I will ask questions but not now."
She smiled at him and stiffled a yawn.
" Do you mind if we call it a day Kendor I am really tired and tomorrow will be a busy day."

"I'm sorry for keeping you up. I look forward to seeing you tomorrow.
He looked at her, took her hand and kissed her hand while feeling a shock through her touch.
He stood and walked with her to the door.
