The Soul Bonded (CRP)

[Ferris]

Ferris ran her claws over her chest dislodging a scale, carefully she picked it up in her claws and passed to her sister.Scale of a dragon given freely said, Ferris. Now we only need the wyvern talon and hydra blood.

[Rhoswen]

Rhoswen set the scale down in a safe place and then looked at Sapphire-Wing. You stay here mother... she said gently and then turned to go after the Wyvern talon. She knew a wyvern though it has been many decades since they last spoke. Come sister let us go fetch the last two... Sapphire-Wing lay down again watching her young ones embark on their task. Rhoswen took a running start spread her wings and took off into the sky.

[Ferris]

Ferris followed her sister to the mouth of the cave, diving off the edge into the waterfall Ferris fell and right before hitting the pool at the bottom snapped her wings open catching the updraft and soaring up to her sister.

[Rhoswen]

Rhoswen looked at her sister assessing the strength of her wings and how far they could make it before they would have to take a break. They seemed strong but the muscles were still in need of building but there was time for that. She then flew up over the mountains that surrounded the hidden cave and tilted to the right heading north-west to a wyvern nest. Hopefully, they did not attack them on sight before they are able to explain and hopefully her wyvern friend is still there.

Ferris worked to find a thermal so they would not have to stop as often, there really was no way for her to keep up with the powerful wing beats of her sister yet.Finding the thermals high above her sister Ferris roared her happiness, she would be able to glide for a long time in this direction.

[Rhoswen]

Rhoswen smiled up at her sister and her smart thinking. The wind wasn't due to shifting till later in the day, like in the afternoon. Now Ferris, when we get there I need you to stay with me, you are not yet big or strong enough to take on the wyverns we are going to meet, she said hopefully Ferris's ears were sharp enough to hear her voice in the wind.

[Ferris]

Catching her sisters' words Ferris repliedI will follow your lead Rhoswen and stick as close as you wish.

[Rhoswen]

Rhoswen felt slightly reassured at the fact that her sister would follow behind her. Thinking to herself about how this scenario would play out. It could be either good, which was if her friend was still in the nest. Or bad if her friend was no longer in the nest. And Ferris was another liability without the ability to breath fire it would be difficult to defend herself because her fangs and claws would definitely not be enough. She hoped this would be a peaceful task because they would need their energy to get the blood from the hydra.

[Ferris]

Ferris was thinking she might surprise her sister with the fact she could breathe ice already, though she still could not get more than a small flame to trickle between her teeth.Thinking better of it Ferris decided to tell her sister Rhosewn I need to tell you I can breathe ice but not yet fire at least not at a strength to do any good nothing more than a thin trickle. At her size Ferris did not believe she would be of much help to her sister, she was probably smaller than the wyverns.Ferris worried about the coming encounter. Putting her mind to work coming up with strategies that could possibly be of help she flew on.
Gliding from thermal to thermal saved her strength, but soon the sun would set and she would need to rest. When they stopped for a rest Ferris would discuss some of her ideas and plans with her sister for any battles that might break out with the wyverns.

[Rhoswen]

Rhoswen watched the setting sun in the north and decided it was time for a rest. Her sister was sure to be weary after such a long flight but she was smart in saving her energy with the thermals. As her gaze scoured the land for a good place to rest her mind also went through strategies and back up plans for her back up plans. Two dragons even with ice and fire breath against a nest of wyverns was not going to be an easy battle if it came down to that. Her eyes caught on a little grove of trees the canopy thick enough to block most if not all visibility of them and the trees spread far enough for them to rest in comfort.Come now Ferris, let us rest in the grove of trees below. She began her slow descent into the grove breaking through the canopy of leaves and sending multiple wildlife scattering from shock. Once landed she looked up waiting for her sister to also break through the canopy.
