Today I talk to you about hard work because I see in our society many people who wish power and influence but do not work for it, using underhanded tactics or connections to circumvent progression and not understanding what hard work actually means. Too often are people in a rush to evolve that they not appreciate the road they must walk on, one step at a time. I remember in my seminary days a good story which provides us with a good example of this.

A martial arts student went to his teacher and said earnestly, "I am devoted to studying your martial system. How long will it take me to master it." The teacher's reply was casual, "Ten years." Impatiently, the student answered, "But I want to master it faster than that. I will work very hard. I will practice everyday, ten or more hours a day if I have to. How long will it take then?" The teacher thought for a moment, "20 years."

Now take a moment to reflect. When you leave us think of something you did today and apply this knowledge to it.

While Evangeline was on retreat, Willow realised that she should try to get the temple upgraded to help her town and get more masses per week.

Checking the letter from mage Zachrin, she noted what was required to upgrade the temple.

Walking up and down the market, she couldn't find any wood or stone for sale. How was she going to build this new church?

Willow smiled when she saw little Morgan arrive at the church and she knelt down to talk to him.

"morgan have this..." the little boy show a little pouch he opens to ...

"Thats morgan treasure.." as for his age money seem to be so wanted for grown ups.

"Morgan want nice home for Ma'am Willow talk (mass) and tell people be nice."

The little boy take a hand full and gives it to ma'am Willow

Willow was shocked to see all the money he was taking out of his purse for the temple. She thought it would come in handy to help her with the upgrade, but she didn't want to take all of the little boy's pocket money.
Are you sure Morgan? You might want to buy something for yourself? she said. But it is lovely of you to donate to the money to the temple (Willow is very fond of the little boy and gives him a cuddle)
