A Visit

She lifts the tray easily, there is a thick pottery bowl full of wassail and an assortment of snacks and sweets to tempt any palate. She makes her way to the entry.

The tray is placed on a table and she takes her tea and a book of her own to a chair and curls up to read.

Oh that looks simply delicious. Thank you ever so much. Have you given any thought of where you are going to plant your rose? After a few weeks it should make a lovely bush.

[Peronell]

Peronell pauses for a brief moment to consider before responding, her voice filled with honeyed sarcasm There is a perfect spot in the front garden now.

Balerion drinks some wassail and is delighted. This stuff is amazing!

She raises her cup in his direction, in a bit of mock salute,

It actually is perfect, enchanted rose bushes. There are thorns, correct?

Peronell stops to consider an intruder trapped in the stinging vines of a rose bush enchanted to keep out unwanted guests. A warm glow fills her eyes at the thought.

I am not sure I thanked you enough for the rose. a pause And, the wassail is an old family recipe.

She sips her tea and balances the bottom of the cup on her knee.

How was your trip? I have an unsettled feeling about things in Bravia of late. I just have not been able to feel or see what might be coming next. It is frustrating.

It twas nice. As for the future all lays in flux as it always has. One must simply find the correct strands to pluck.

I myself am considering if I should move to Paz. Have you any thoughts?

Also I recently caught a sprite who had the inability to keep her hands to herself. Do you have any use for one such as her?
