He quietly nodded as she explained. It was honestly a freak accident, perhaps for the clients carelessness. But, if he learned anything from his tribe, it was that there was always a way to fix things. Even if they seemed...unconventional.

"We will find a way to fix this. There is always a way to fix accidents," he quietly said as he brushed his hand on Theo's cheek. He made it clear he was willing to help Theo in any way possible. He just hoped that Theo was willing to accept it.

She tilted her head just enough to push against his hand, if only to feel it more. She cleared her throat and nodded with a sigh, "Perhaps we should head back to the camp, Aye? Night's fallen." She stated the obvious and shook her head, "Uh..And that looks like quite a climb." She motioned to the cliff they had dove off.

Marco slowly glanced up at the cliff and sighed. They would have to climb out eventually, plus they would feel more "comfortable" at the campsite. He slowly nodded as he helped Theo up and started for the climb. There were some spots to grab, but he would probably have to use his axe for support as well. As he slowly started the climb, he hoped that Theo could easily handle this as well. Theo was full of surprises, not to mention that she saw right through the monstrous parts. At least he had a friend....

She had a friend.

It was a weird thought to her. Especially since friends were a seriously rare in her life. Riley was her friend simply because killing him meant death, and he kind of grew on her. Akantha was her friend because of some strange twisted connection, that and, she had grown on Theo. Marco, knowing she used and abused those around her with a ruthless viciousness, offered his friendship, his understanding and his help. She didn't understand it; where that came from. Where that understanding that she had no real conscience about what she did, about who she hurt. He accepted that, even if it meant he was a part of her little emotional games.

She excused it, and began to climb. While he had his ax, she had much smaller fingers and could easily make her way up the stonewall, not with too much ease, but without the need of tools. It didn't go without the small fear within her that she might slip, that was a long fall and she wasn't much for flying upward these days. So, she climbed along side of him, lost in thought about her strange new friend.

As he reached the top, he struggled to get his weight over the ledge. Finally, he was over and somewhat safe from that cliff. He quickly reached down to lend Theo a hand, but he couldn't wait to get back to the camp. He carried the full weight of his fatigue, plus he forgot the warm embrace of someone else in bed. He was hoping Theo stayed, but with that woman, he never knew.

She accepted his help over the last pull. She quickly pulled to her feet and flashed him a smile, inclining her head back to the campsite area and headed that way. As she walked, she looked at him curiously, "Is it so forward that I request to stay the remainder of this evening til morning, with you at your campsite?"The way she said it as they headed back through the woods to his campsite, was casual and easy. Almost as if it were a normal greeting, or a casual conversation about the sun. There was no shame behind her silky tones, yet there was no pleading either. She didn't spend much time looking at him, yet didn't look away out of a shy statement. She merely looked ahead so she didn't run into a tree or something.

"No...that's fine...it can be dangerous out here...especially since you're out here," he said with a chuckle. As the glow of the campfire flickered in the night, he knew he was back to his campsite. He quickly threw another log into the fire before crawling into his tent, almost grabbing the spare tent.

"Do you want your own tent or...just want to...squeeze in?" As he finished the sentence, he couldn't hold back his evil grin.

Danger...

She laughed out loud at the thought. Not much scared her. Some things did, but hardly enough that kept her from wandering the woods late at night. It took her a moment which was immediately accompanied by a grin, to realize that the danger he was insisting upon was her, and she was all grins, barely biting it down as she chewed idly on her cheeks. She watched as he slipped into the tent, and before he even finished what he had to say, asking if he preferred that she stay in a separate tent or lay with him, that she was already slipping into his make shift tent, her body pressing near his, "Why go through the trouble of setting up some new tent when there's plenty enough room in here?"She asked coyly, a troublesome grin spreading on her face that was only visible by the flicker of the firelight.

He chuckled as he held Theo close to his body. As he pulled the fur blankets over, he could only feel the warmth of the woman. His mind continued to swirl between humans and his tribe, however, he could only feel a calming memory of Theo. Marco quickly descended to a slumber, not having any trouble sleeping that night.

He brought her against him, and she didn't fight the motion. Laying against him, she laid her head down and closed her eyes. With the closure of her eyes, she closed her mind. If she left it too open, she was a victim of the distant pain that throbbed from the distance between Riley and herself. Even with the ore, pain was ever evident. If she could just manage to close her mind off completely, then she could actually get some rest. And, after a while, it worked. She fell into a slumber and slept through the night.

As the dawn broke, she was awake. The sound of nature around them kept her alert, but she felt peaceful. She turned to look at Marco, really examining him as he slept before she carefully rose onto all fours and crawled out of the tent as quietly as possible to not rouse him. She stood up when she was out and stretched. Her body didn't pop or crack like it had for centuries after she was given a body. Since the...accident...she was incapable of popping her joints and strangely, she missed that. She missed the feel of it. Her muscles still stretched though, and that was enough to give her the satisfaction of the stretch.

There was a pondering of rather or not to move on, and move out. But at the moment, she wasn't really itching to run off. So she simply stood there, still in the slow process of waking up.
