Dear Brothers and Sisters in Faith,

Today I would like to speak about wealth. Admittedly, most of us like being wealthy, and sometimes we even start to pile up money in our chest.

However, here is a story, that might make you think.

An old miser lived in a house with a garden. The miser hid his gold coins in a pit under some stones in the garden. Every day, before going to bed, the miser went to the stones where he hid the gold and counted the coins. He continued this routine every day, but not once did he spend the gold he saved.

One day, a thief who knew the old miser’s routine, waited for the old man to go back into his house. After it was dark, the thief went to the hiding place and took the gold. The next day, the old miser found that his treasure was missing and started crying loudly.

His neighbor heard the miser’s cries and inquired about what happened. On learning what happened, the neighbor asked, “Why didn’t you save the money inside the house? It would’ve been easier to access the money when you had to buy something!”

“Buy?”, said the miser. “I never used the gold to buy anything. I was never going to spend it.”

On hearing this, the neighbor threw a stone into the pit and said, “If that is the case, save the stone. It is as worthless as the gold you have lost”.

Dear Sisters and Brothers, A possession is just as worthy as what it is used for. Use your wealth for good , use it to support your fellow creatures or your homeland. Don't be a miser, use your possession for the benefit of others.

Blessings to you all.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Faith,

Today I would like to share with you a nice poem about positive way of thinking. Its title is: "Live In the Now"

Look not back on yesterday

or what you have left behind.

For only today is yours to claim,

and this moment only is your time.

Fret not on what has been

or on what has passed you by.

Yesterday is far behind you.

You can't change it if you try.

New opportunities await you.

They come with each new day,

so, look ahead with faith and hope,

and blessings will come your way.

Keep faith alive in your heart.

Live full and live well each day.

Do all the good for all you can

to all those who pass your way.

Yesterday is out of your reach

and tomorrow is not yours to claim.

Only this moment belongs to you.

Blessings to you all.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Faith,

Today I would like to speak about anger. Of course in certain cases all of us can become angry. Mostly when we feel, we have to face a problem, that we can't solve. Yet, it's essential to be careful, when we let out our emotions, because they can seriously hurt others. Let me share with you a story about this.

There was once a boy who became angry so frequently with his friends at school that he was constantly getting sent home. His temper was disruptive to the class and hurtful to other students.

His father came up with a strategy to try to deter the boy from getting angry so easily. He gave his son a hammer and some nails and told him to hammer a nail into the family’s fence every time the boy got angry in the future.

The following day, the boy got angry 37 times, and had to hammer as many nails into the fence.

Over the next few weeks, the boy got tired of hammering nails into the fence and he gradually started to control his temper. Slowly, the number of nails he was hammering into the fence started to decrease. The boy realized that it was easier to remain calm when he started to feel angry than to gather the tools, go outside, and start hammering.

Eventually, the boy stopped losing his temper altogether. His dad noticed, and told the boy to remove a nail from the fence every day that he was able to keep his temper under control.

Eventually, as the weeks went by, all of the nails had been taken out of the fence. The father and son then stood in front of the broken fence, which was completely scattered with holes.

The father turned to his son and said, “You have done well, but look at the holes in the fence. They cannot be repaired. When you get angry at other people, it leaves a scar just like the holes you see in front of you. It doesn’t matter if you say I’m sorry one hundred times, the injury is still there.”

Dear Sisters and Brothers, always try to control your anger toward other people. While you may not see the damage that it does, it can leave irreparable wounds that can eventually break them. Be kind to others and think before you let your emotions get the best of you.

Blessings to you all.

Dear brothers and Sisters in Faith,

Today I would like to share with you a short poem about smile. Here it is:

When someone's having a bad day,

A smile could go a long way,

So make sure to put one on

And keep it until the day is gone.

You don't know what this deed

Could do for a friend in need.

It might save them from the pain

Of a sadness they cannot contain.

Don't ask what a smile can do

Because I'm sure it once helped you.

Dear Sisters and Brothers, keep smiling, because you can't know, when and whom you can help with your positive attitude.

Blessings to you all.

Dear Brothers and Sister in Faith,

Today I would like to preach again in the form of a poem. This time it will be about summer. Here you are:

Rippling crystal waters shine like silver to reflect summer's glow.

Soothing and calming in rhythm, echoing its lyrical flow.

Magical music of nature, a symphony of splendid delight.

Skies like blue oceans in paradise, birds soaring to grasp full flight.

Gentle swans glide gracefully, elegant yet proud and strong,

Birds and bees in unison, the joyful hum of nature's song.

Rolling summer meadows shimmer, like jewels in Mother Nature's crown.

Embellishing fields of emerald green draped in its golden gown.

Light sweet air blows softly, scented by sweet cherry blossom in bloom.

Delicate, pretty petals lifting to dance in harmony with summer's tune.

The sounds and scents of summer, its melody light and free.

Sands of gold that glisten, embracing waves of a warm and whispering sea.

With these lines I wish you a pleasant summer. Enjoy all the beauty, that summer nature can offer you.

Blessings to you all.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Faith,

Today I would like to speak about weakness. Indeed, all of us have our weaker side, no matter, how mighty creatures we are. But does this fact necessarily have to hurdle us? Do we have to be lonely and unhappy because of our weakness?

A pet shop owner got a new litter of puppies and was ready to sell them to their “forever” families. A young girl walked by the shop and noticed a sign saying, “Puppies for Sale” and of course was very eager to go inside.

She asked the owner, “How much do the puppies cost?” The owner replied, “They are all around 10 frenzics.”

The girl emptied her pocket change and told the store owner that she only had about 2 frenzics, but she still wanted to look at them.

The shop owner whistled for the dogs, who came running down the hall of his shop. Five tiny furballs, followed by one, limping behind the rest. The girl immediately singled out the lagging puppy and asked the store owner what was wrong with him.

The owner explained that the puppy was born with a deformity– he was missing a hip socket. He would walk with a limp for the rest of his life.

The girl got excited, saying, “I want that puppy!”

The owner replied, “You don’t want to buy that puppy. If you really want him, you can have him for free.”

The girl became upset. She looked at the owner and said, “I don’t want to have him for free. That puppy is worth just as much as the others. I’ll give you the change I have now and one frenzic a month until I have paid for the puppy entirely.”

The owner continued, “This dog is never going to be able to run and play like all of the other dogs, I think you’re going to regret this decision.”

To his surprise, the girl reached down and rolled up her pant leg to reveal a crippled leg that was supported by a large metal brace. She looked up at the owner and softly replied, ‘Well, I’m not much of a runner, and this puppy needs someone who understands.”

Dear Sisters and Brothers, don’t make assumptions about other people’s wants, needs, or abilities. Every one of us has our own weaknesses, whether it’s physical or mental. The trick is to not allow your weaknesses to slow you down, and instead, find others in the world who can support you. Find and surround yourself with people who challenge you to reach your potential.

Blessings to you all.

Harpy listened from her perch high above where things were being spoken. She quite liked this story and made a note to take the tale back with her to write into her book of things. She plucked a single feather and dropped it down to the speaker before flying away to her next perch to see if anything interesting was happening there. Perhaps she would hear more good stories.

Finishing the service she was about to grab her notes and go back to Nettlebane Tower, when suddenly a nice piece of feather landed on the pulpit. She took it and looked up in the sky, where she could still discern the silhouette of the flying creature slowly disappearing in the distance. A broad smile flooded her face. If there was just one who liked her story, then it was already worth the preparation.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Faith,

Today I would like to preach about the stars. The stars, which we, creatures, admire so much, while they are twinkling in the sky. Here it is.

In order for the stars to shine,

The sun must go to rest,

For only in the darkness can

You see the light the best.

But the night sky separates our eyes

From light that would make us blind,

And what we call stars poke holes in this sheet

To reveal some of heaven behind.

The night sky simply shields our eyes

From what they cannot bear,

But we are allowed a glimpse of hope

In a time of great despair.

And as heaven pours out itself,

We see not endless void,

But rather, a glimpse of never-ending

Peace and love and joy.

Praise be to the Mages, who spoke the stars

That illuminate the night,

For they are proof that even in

The darkness, there is light.

Blessings to you all.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Faith,

Today I have brought you a nice poem again. This time about "What Life Should Be".

To learn while still a child

What this life is meant to be.

To know it goes beyond myself,

It's so much more than me.

To overcome the tragedies,

To survive the hardest times.

To face those moments filled with pain,

And still manage to be kind.

To fight for those who can't themselves,

To always share my light.

With those who wander in the dark,

To love with all my might.

To still stand up with courage,

Though standing on my own.

To still get up and face each day,

Even when I feel alone.

To try to understand the ones

That no one cares to know.

And make them feel some value

When the world has let them go.

To be an anchor, strong and true,

That person loyal to the end.

To be a constant source of hope

To my family and my friends.

To live a life of decency,

To share my heart and soul.

To always say I'm sorry

When I've harmed both friend and foe.

To be proud of whom I've tried to be,

And this life I chose to live.

To make the most of every day

By giving all I have to give.

To me that's what this life should be,

To me that's what it's for.

To take what the Mages have given me

And make it so much more

To live a life that matters,

To be someone of great worth.

To love and be loved in return

And make my mark on Earth.

Blessings to you all.
