The door to the room opened with ease, there before him was the source of the light. A small seed shaped orb, sat upon a stone dais. The light was soft and beckoning, Wagnark couldn't resist the urge to reach out to the orb.

It took a moment for Saria to regain herself, the wind having been knocked out of her. She could hear glass crunching and clinking around her as she began to move again. Whatever or whoever had hit her was gone from her sights, nor could she pick anything up sense wise. Looking over her shoulder she could see shards of glass had found their way into her back.

One would think that the pain would hit her, it didn't. Instead, Saria simply closed her eyes and mentally pulled them out all at once. As the sound of the shards hit the floor, Saria staggered but did not fall. Catching herself she moved to the staircase, up passed the body of bones, and onto the upper floor. If her instict was right, Wagnark would be the next target for the thing in the house.

Saria found him just as he was about to reach for the brightest object in the house.

"Wagnark, don't....!"
she whispered loudly, "....there is something else in this place. We should..."

Her last words were cut off as a cold sharp object was pressed to her throat with one hand and her body was being held by another.

He felt the could of winter biting his fingers as he reached for the orb. Something told him it was better off left alone, he couldn't resist. It was similar to a dream he had before, the cold biting.

His thoughts were broken by a sweet voice whispering to him, he knew that voice. Wagnark turned pulling his hand back from the orb,
"Saria? Where have you gone? Wagnark looked about the room, empty? Something wasn't right, was the room made of stone, he recalled being in a manor, but it couldn't be.

He heard laughter...

You're too late, little one...

The words echoed in her mind like the dagger pressed against her. Her gaze had fallen away for milliseconds to try and see who had stopped her. Turning her gaze back to her partner she could see what the words refereed to. Wagnark's hand was touching the orb. Saria tried to speak but the dagger was pressed further into her neck. She couldn't see anything besides Wagnark and the orb and then she realized, the windows in that particular room were blacked out. No light from the outside could come through and any light from within the house seemed to stop at the doorway.

Saria's realization was cut short as laughter began to fill the room. At first she couldn't tell where it was coming from as it bounced about the room. It grew louder. Her eyes fell upon her companion, and they went wide....the laughter was coming from him.

There was a man atop a throne of iron and bone. He wore a crown of steel spikes, in his hand he clutched the seed shaped orb. The mans skin was white, like the snow from the north, his hair was dark, and his eyes were clouded over.

It all seamed familiar to Wagnark, like he had seen this man before. Still the laughter came, it had no source. He closed his eyes, the cold biting pain had stopped. Looking down at his hand, Wagnark noticed the orb had burrowed it's way into the palm of his hand. He looked up and there stood Saria...

She had to get free of whatever had a hold of her. The longer Saria remained trapped the longer Wagnark's soul was at risk. Given that she couldn't get away physically she would have to rely on her magic and it was going to hurt.

Focusing on a spot next to Wagnark, Saria began to recite a spell in her head. Her eyes began to glow bright green until black smoke surround her. The cloud moved to the desired spot and Saria reappeared. The moment she was in her physical form she fell to the floor. Blood soaking through the back of her shirt, pain radiated through her. With much effort, she rose to her feet and tried to get Wagnark's attention.

"Let...go." she pleaded, his laughing bouncing all around her.

Wagnark heard Sarias voice, he had a hard time focussing on her. The orb, his mind kept racing back to the orb. Was that pain in her voice, something wasn't right. Stepping back from the stone dais, the room looked different, it was the same as it had been when he first entered.

He looked to Saria whom was standing next to him, he was uncertain how she got there. He looked quickly at his hand, the orb was gone. Wagnark looked about the room, it seamed empty except for the two of them.
"Everything ok Saria? You shouldn't sneak up on me like that."

Her legs were straining to keep her upright, yet Saria held on. The laughter suddenly stopped and Wagnark stepped back from the dais. Saria sighed with relief, but she was still just as confused as he seemed to be by the look on his face.

"You don't..." she began, unsure of what to say. "...you just had some orb in your hand and you were laughing, you didn't hear the crash downstairs?" she asked, leaving out the part about the thing, whatever it was keeping her from him.

"Find what you are looking for, and let's get out of here." she stated simply, keeping her back out of his line of sight.

The pain seemed to be intensify instead of ease like it would when you become use to it.

"Something must of got me in that cabinet, not just the glass." she thought to herself.

Saria wanted to be mad at Wagnark, having known that something would happen as per her usual prediction. Nothing was ever simple when he got an idea in his head. However; in her current state she couldn't muster enough energy to me.

"I'm going back down stairs.." she told him, as she made her way back to the door and trying not to stagger and fall in the process. She paused at where she had been held and looked down. The object that had been held to her throat had been her own dagger. Bending down slowly she picked it up.

"I must of dropped it in my haste to get your attention.." she lied, sensing that Wagnark was possibly still watching her.

Once she managed to get down the stair, Sara went back to the now busted up cabinit. There were bottles and objects all over the place. The only thing that stood out to her was a crystal clear bottle, it looked spotless, like nothing had ever touched it. Saria reached out to pick it up. As her fingers brushed against it that mysterious voice she had heard before erupted in her head again.

"He will be mine and you shall suffer as I have!"
