[RP] Looking for pie

Post by Lunete »

Two bright blue eyes peeked over the edge of the wall. They seemed to be looking for something. Something that belonged to the sweet smell of cinnamon and apple, of freshly baked pastry and of her grandmothers kitchen. Apple pie...

Only the idea already made her mouth water, not to mention what the smell did to her. It reminded her of that time when grangran baked two apple pies. Two! They took one of them to the garden, where she got a big piece. She had eaten it on the swing. And after that she had played in the garden, swinging up and down, higher and higher, trying to pluck the clouds from the sky.

Blonde hairs wavered over her back as she ran over the road to hide behind the next object. A tree this time. A small brown and white dog closely followed her. His name was Bo. Bo was the ugly clever sort of dog. There was nobody in the world that Lunete considered as smart and wise as Bo. Well, grangran, but grangran was gone now.

For a moment her face darkened, and she seemed to be lost in a sad memory, when finally she spotted the object of her desires. Immediately she got that hungry look back in her eyes. There, in the kitchen window of someone she did not know, stood a freshly baked apple pie.

Giggling and trying new recipes, they managed to bake an acceptable Apple Pie.

After cutting a small piece for the both of them, they left it on the window sill to cool down.

It was absolutely delicious. The aroma seemed to fill the small cottage and was more than likely enticing throughout the neighbourhood.

Turning from the window after placing it there, Ashlyn thought she saw a shadow in the garden, but when she looked again, it was gone...

The creature smelled the pie and knew that it was something the man would enjoy. It also knew it was a gift from the woman to the man. Cautiously it crept through the garden and up to the window. When it saw all was clear, it carefully picked the pie up in it's beak and with two leaps on four powerful legs was airborn. It's great wings carried it into the sky and was out of sight before it could be seen.
