I've got a light bulb, brand new bulb in fact, but it doesn't fit the light socket.
How about if we used an oil lamp?

I've got one, but I can't let you use it because when Wolfie shoots it, it will splode burning up the town.
Maybe he needs a magic lamp that he can wish on and off

I tried to get you the sun as it turns itself on and off but I got burned trying so you are out of luck.
I need a magic plow to plow my fields.

You receive a new novel, which is gripping, interesting, intriguing, wellwritten, truly marvelous.
Only to find that the last 21 pages are missing, you've no idea who dunnit or why, and if the ending is a plausible and satisfying ending.
I wish I could have about three more hours of sleep.
