Looking at Haley he smiles.

"Know you not what this means?" he says.
"You, are our niece."
"You DO have a family. Us!"

Lbh touches Haley's shoulder and sends a feeling of comfort into her.

"Welcome, my niece to your family."

Lbh smiles.

Lbh pauses.

"You now have an Uncle and Aunt."
""You are welcome to stay in our home until you feel that you require a place of your own."

Lbh smiles at his new-found niece.

Hearing her husband say that Haley was their niece Ladybh smiles.
"You are welcome to stay here, there is a guest room, please feel free to use."
She passes the wet towel to Haley.

Looking at her husband she says
"I think we could all do with a drink love."
She sits back on the sofa.

Haley tries to compose herself from crying but now she is crying with joy that she has a family, not one she had expected.

I understand that you want me to wants me to stay here but after all of this I have to find my own place here.

Unlce LBH how did my father die and are you sure my mother didn't have some magical powers?

I only ask because I feel something inside of me. A drink would be nice Aunt Ladyhawk. Can I please call you Auntie?

I'm so happy that I have found you all.

I hope you understand that I want to have my own place. I just need some independence my sweet aunt and uncle but it doesn't mean I won't come and visit.

I'm sorry aunt and uncle , I had to check my horse and found out one of my friends came by to visit so we are going to meet at the inn for something to eat but I do want to hear about our family and the answers to my questions.

I hope you know of any little cottages around.

I do thank you for being here for me during the news of my parents.

Haley sits on the couch waiting for his uncle to speak.

Lbh ponders on how to reply to his niece about her parents.

His brother and wife!

He sits in front of her and takes her hands in his.
Looking into her eyes he says in a low voice.

"Our family, the Blackhawk family, have a commitment to others beyond this world."
"Long, long time ago the ancients fought over this world, they eventually decided that if they continued to fight that they would destroy it."

Lbh pauses.
Continuing he says...

"Those ancients came to an agreement that the people of this world would decide the outcome and so a few families where chosen to `oversee` that neither side would `influence` the outcome."
"Those families were given powers which were NOT to be used for personal advancement."
"The powers are to be used only to restore the balance of the land."
"They are passed down only through the male lineage."

Lbh looks at his wife.

"As to your parents, they were called to help on another plane of existence and I was left to look after this world."
"All I know, regarding my brother and his wife, is that they never returned to this world."
"I am sorry that I cannot give you more information than that."
"I miss them also."

Lbh wishes his mentor was here to explain further.

"Anyhow." he says.
"You are our niece and it beholds us to look after you as your parents would wish it."

Lbh leans back and sips his drink.

Thank you uncle, it makes me feel better knowing my family better, through your eyes.

I am honored to have such lovely people to be called my uncle and aunt.

Haley finishes her drink and places the cup on the table.

Please excuse me uncle, I must go find a little cottage to call home here in Fenia.

I love you both and will come visit often.

She hugs her aunt and uncle.

Please give my cousins a hug for me.

I must be going now.

Haley walks to go check on her horse.

She opens the door and closes it behind her.

Looks at his wife.

"I hope that I havent upset her with what news I gave her." he says.
"Maybe it would be best to give her a few days to think it over and then she may come round to understanding things."

Lbh pours himself and Ladybh a drink.
Handing his wife her drink he stands pondering.

"Well love, if nothing else she should know that we are here for her."
"After all, she is now part of the Blackhawk family."

Lbh sits beside his wife and wraps his arm around her.

Accepting the drink from her husband Ladybh smiles.
"Yes love best thing to do, give her time."

She sips her drink, enjoying finally having some quiet time with her husband."Lets finish our drinks then go to bed."
The evening had seemed to go quickly, Ladybh snuggled her husband.

Finishing her drink says
"Ready love?"
She puts down her empty glass and heads off upstairs.

Lbh smiles at his wife's words.

"Of course dearest." he says.

As his wife heads upstairs he gathers the empty glasses and washes them.

Grinning, he heads up to their bedroom.

Feeling her husband slide in beside her Ladybh grabs him and smoothers him in kisses.

This was the best time of her day, wrapped in her husbands arms.
There time alone was precious and always so full of love.

She was so happy and knew they where still madly in love with each other.
