Imperious Treasure Hunt

There was a large stone on the road, remains of the old pavement. Not every mortal would be able to read the inscription on the top of that stone. Wagnard was able.

A strange earthen house
That brings nought but disdain
And yet those who stay there
Never do complain

Tigerlily found two small wooden letters at the first spot: O and C. At the second she found next two letters: E and A. After she dug last time, only one letter appeared. That was N.

Tigerlily was excited to find something .... letters, she arranged them and rearranged them to see what she could make with them.
She came up with OCEAN and CANOE. Ocean ..... there is no ocean in Imperius - we can't even fish here. Canoe ..... river, carpentry shop, boats?

But canoe didn't work with the first code.... Lily thinks Ocean works with both codes but she's unsure where to dig next?

Lily sits down confused and thinks about the letters.

Still confused, she puts the finds in her backpack (so she can think about it). Throwing a coin in the air, she picks which way to head next. She walks over the bridge and tries:
21.26 followed by 21.25 and for her last chance 22.26. She is still thinking about the ocean or had she confused herself as usual.

Letters written in the language of the dead, by a hand from the spirit realm.

The earthen house, of course, would be a standing crypt. Cryptic words, but after spending an entire second lifetime amongst such relics, Wagnard was able to grasp the meaning immediately. The paving stones were not of recent origin, and lingering undead energies drew its attention toward another part of Imperious...

17.5 , a place where natural rocks formed a cairn near a massive white tree trunk which some could almost construe was constructed by mortals, and it could have been cleverly faked to be ordinary when it was actually designed. Sometimes the obvious answer is the correct one!

[Morghain]

Morghain was digging in the middle of forest's harvest place. Right here people come with axes and leave with the wood. She dug broken ax blade and few cones of pinetree.

She gave the axe head a half hearted sniff to see if she could determine who had left it there but it had lain in the dirt for long enough that it would take giftings she did not have to determine who had previously owned it. She took a deeper draw of the scent of the pine cone. She loved the crisp scent that reminded her of colder times when only the hardiest creatures survived the wilderness. It seemed there was not a lot here besides the detritus of so called civilization so tucking her various pieces of paper, and her "prizes"away in whichever convenient places she could find amongst her clothing, she wondered off further towards the south east. She paused (37.11) near a building ( looking at the one at 39.11 from her position on 37.11) and wondered who it belonged to.

Tigerlily was still thinking about the ocean and when she spelled that in voice: O C E A N , the inscription of her parchment began to change. The riddle was gone (...shimmering field ...) and the parchment now was resembling the kind of map:

Wagnard muttered that word (CRYPT) few times and this was more than enough for the ancient stone. Runes were gone.

Then he suddenly noticed, that the white trunk have interesting pattern on the bark:

Morghain soon realised, that she is looking at the house of baker Rosie. Suddenly she noticed new riddle, inscripted on the pavement stone of the road:

An untiring servant it is carrying loads across muddy earth
But one thing that cannot be forced is a return to the place of its birth

After Lily didn't find anything at her new spots, Lily looks at her parchment again and notices it has changed again.

Looking at the map on the parchment, she heads back to her house and tried 13.29 - to see what the spot would show.

After checking that spot, Lily skips to a further two spots and digs there also - spots: 11.27 and then 9.26

At least! Tigelily found a chest at first spot she checked. Another two was empty.

There were two things at the chest:

• a ticket of prize, named "wood and iron against water" (* as usually, You will obtain the prize from town's mayor *)
• one of Magic Items of the game - the Crystal of tile type.

Crystal of type have short instruction attached:

The Crystal of tile type could be activated three times only.
First time it shows the type of Treasure's tile.
Next two times it reveals types of adjacent tiles.

Tigerlily was excited to find a chest and was looking forward to seeing what the "wood and iron against water" was. She placed the magic item in her backpack and checking the map again, she decided to head back across the river again.

Lily tried digging at the following spots: 25.27, 28.25 and 32.26.

After returning home with his items gathered up from his old office Jandar decides to spend his first day of leisure exploring hexes 37.26 and 38.25

Tigerlily dug only two holes of three till the sunset (25.27 and 28.25). It takes time to go so far at once. Unfortunately, spots were empty this time.

Jandar found nothing but new riddle. This time it was engraved onto the alone boulder by the side of the forest.
