[ORP] Haiku Random Mumbling

Post by Grazilda » Mon Jan 21, 2019 9:14 am

After Grazilda delivered the orders from Breaking Bones in Cork to her customers, she sat down on a bench. She looked up the skies and was inspired to write 3 lines with 5 syllables for the first, 7 and then 5 syllables on the last. She may have been mistaken, but she heard somewhere that this form of poetry was called "Haiku."

She wrote some lines and hope that others would follow suit.

I'm just sitting here
Because I am really bored
But I need to work.

Grazilda had a short rest from working in her butcher shop and wrote a few lines.

My shop is busy
Thanks to you, my customers.
Please come back again.

The whispers increase
Louder than even silence.
Time grows shorter still.

He personally believed it traditionally contained three parts, two images and a concluding line which helped juxtapose them. But he could be wrong also as this is only what he had known. Regardless he smiled at the simpleness of it, a ways to find peace. Grazilda's idea and a good one at that.

Old pond....
A frog leaps in
Water's sound.

Calysta thought Xis' writing was pretty even though she couldn't read it.

At any rate, the others had inspired get to try her hand.

The snow falls softly
The ground is coated pure white
It glistens brightly

After a gruelling snowstorm, Grazilda scribbled some words.

"The storm will rest soon
But it will surely come back
I will be prepared."

As Grazilda walked around the place, she noticed people sending hugs and kisses. She could not help but write some lines.

Roses have been sent
Hugs freely given to all
It's almost Love Day

Calysta had battled several evil snowmen and decided to write about it.

Bad snowmen die fast.
Calysta crushes them all.
They are pulverized.
