Emerald called up to the children saying their food was ready.

Walking into the kitchen with her he felt good.

Holding her chair he kissed her cheek.
Sitting down he waited for the children.
After saying grace, he filled his plate.
He ate slowly.

They sat at the table like a normal family, both children smiled at their food.

" Kendor can I ask you a question, if I agree to you adopting me can I still keep Blackhawk has part of my surname?"
Then Grace nodded her head.
" Blackhawk has been part of our name for along time, we both do love you."
She gave him a big smile.
Emerald looked at her children and then at Kendor.

" I wouldn't expect you to drop Blackhawk. I would be happy for you to add my surname. I don't intend on replacing your father. I don't want you to forget him. I just want to join the family. If you agree."
He smiled at them.

Grace got up and walked round to Kendor and gave him a hug.
" You are part of our family and yes I would love to add your name."
James just smiled and held out his hand to shake Kendor`s hand.

Emerald just grinned at her son, typical James.
" Happy now love , you have two children who love you."

He hugged Grace and kissed her forehead.
