Sae's Forest Home (Previously: Sae and Valir's Forest Home)

She took the knife from Grim, taking a seat at Sae's feet, and delicately checking on the birth's progress. "You're doing just fine, Sae. Just try to relax between contractions and breathe. I think little Alaric is nearly ready to join us," she smiled at her friend, patting her shin. "Grim, Valir, just hold her hands and keep her cool." She passed the dwarf a rag, and glanced warningly between Grim and Scar, hoping that they would have enough courtesy not to start anything.

[Valir]

Valir takes the Rag and gently begins to wipe the sweat from his wife's face as he holds her hand watching both Grim and Scarlette for if anything breaks out he will have no trouble throwing them both out of the house.

Sae grips her husband and cousins hands and squeezes tight as another contraction hits. She is ready to send the pain she is feeling into the room if any trouble starts. She screams and pushes.

Bug crawles in to visit Sae then notices she's already in labour and lays down beside the bed, looking around a little

[Xeno]

Xeno watches the people take there places, idly glancing at the bickering couple on the sideline before returning his attention to the birthing. "Shion, tell us when the head begins to appear." He said.

[Shion]

Shion nodded at Xeno's words, which apparently triggered the child's head appearing. Flattening her ears at the sound of Sae's pained cry, Shion told her soothingly. "Almost there, Sae. I can see his head now. One more good push ought to do it." She watched her friend's abdominal muscles ripple in another contraction, and held out her hands to catch little Alaric as he wetly slid into the world. Quickly grabbing a soft towel, Shion cleaned the baby's face and body as he voiced his first cry.

"Congratulations, it's a boy. But we already knew that, didn't we?" she grinned. Carefully, she picked up the knife and sliced through the umbilical cord, passing the little one over to Sae and Valir. She returned then to her place just in time for the placenta to squelch into her front and soaking her clothes. Grimacing in disgust, Shion mopped the mess into a small pot as best she could. Eviscerated animals, she could deal with, but another person's birthing mess was rather unpleasant. Particularly when it got onto her freshly laundered clothes. "Oh well. At least it's not new clothing. Scar, make yourself useful and bury this, would you?" She smiled frostily at the Mord Sith, holding out the afterbirth.

Sae lays panting her eyes shut as she holds Alaric to her she smiles in Shi's direction. She opens her eyes and looks about the room. She smiles at each person gathered even Scar a bit apprehensively.

She smiles again then closes her eyes and rests lightly.

A message arrives from the old wizard in the tower:

	Sae and Valir, Congratulations on the birth of your son. May he be a strong one. Please accept this potion as a gift for the occasion. It will help speed the recovery for SaelaV90. The Mayor

She walked down the path towards Sae and Val's home. She was looking forward to seeing them again and their new baby son. Having reached the door she knocked and waited. Soon someone opened the door and she was invited in to see Saela and her baby."Oh Sae, Val, he's a beautiful child. Congratulations to you both." she told them She hugged them both for it was a while since she had seen them. Then she gave them her gift for their new son.She called to the man out in the hall to bring it in.

Bug uses his claws to climb onto the bed to Sae and lays close to her as it has been a while sins he has seen her.
