Ella hoped there would be more this area so she continued melting the snow just a little further to the south.

Encouraged by his find of the beef stew TK again hunted choosing C-4 and M-12

[Lavinia]

Lavinia continued shaking the snow covered branches (I 7 and J 7) with magical wind torrent.

[Petunia]

There didn't seem to be quite as many searchers today, and Petunia was a bit worried that nobody would find anything. Most didn't but there was one lucky winner, and she smiled happily.

"Lavinia is the one to find a warming meal today - well done Lavinia, you have a cup of chicken soup! There are still lots of things to be found - more food, but also plenty of freznics, and that ruby, so don't give up now!" She grinned as she urged them on.

Continuing on his expanding circle (A-13 and B-14), Foxeon drags his feet through the snow to see what he can kick up.

Kicking through the undergrowth yielded nothing so TK decided to do a thorough dig at M-1 and F-15.

[Ella]

"Hmph," the fire witch grumbled as she continued to come up empty. She pushed the fire forward tossing it down onto a large pile of snow to melt it and see if there was anything underneath.

[Petunia]

"Oh, I'm so sorry Foxeon - I must have missed you in the searches yesterday. You didn't find anything then, but you have today! You've come across a cream of broccoli - sounds delicious, and quite healthy with the broccoli!" She grinned.

When she'd marked up her chart, she looked up. "Nobody else found anything today, so that means there are still plenty of things to find. But there's quite a lot of area still to cover, and it's a bit chilly, so I think we might increase to three searches a day now."
