To be perfectly honest, Sendile was not too keen to attend the wedding. These days she lived a secluded life, sharing her thoughts only with her always faithful partner, the Cat. It didn't mean this life was uneventful, though. On the contrary: she could try out many interesting things: travelling to unknown towns, sailing at the sea, and even hunting for magical creatures.

However, Ella's invitation was so nicely written that she simply couldn't say no. Ella was her cousine, after all, so it really wouldn't have been proper to skip the opportunity. As such, she put on her best attire and made her way to the venue of the wedding with the always faithful Cat in tow.

The twins received an invitation to attend the wedding of their cousin Ella. Oriana immediately went in search of something to wear. However, she found nothing to her satisfaction… all the nicer clothes she had already worn so many times that they became boring to look at. Her brother, on the other hand, wanted to avoid the event all together but Oriana was persistent. It was a Royal wedding after all, there’d probably be many interesting people, single royals in particular, that suffering through the wedding part would be worth it. At least that was what Oriana told Zeph. In truth, who knows what they’ll find there.

And so, Oriana decided that they were to attend. She even penned a letter to her cousin to confirm it, so Zeph was left without excuse.

Luckily, she managed to find a good seamstress in Paz and together they came up with an idea which was quickly turned into reality. Her outfit consisted of black trousers that reached her feet and a sleeveless black top with a plunging neckline. The trousers and the top were embellished with delicate golden embroidery, whose design could be found on the back of the top as well. With that came a transparent cape that had a gold clasp and golden embroidery on each shoulder. Her jewellery consisted of three golden rings, two on her left hand and one on her right. Oriana decided to keep it simple with her long raven hair, just leaving it loose while the upper part was pulled in a messy bun to keep the locks out of her eyes.

Once she was done, Oriana went to the living room where Zeph was waiting. A moment later the twins disappeared.

Outside the Wintercrest castle there was a sudden gust of wind as the two figures re-materialized out of it. Oriana took her brother by the arm and led him inside where they were greeted by servants that welcomed them and pointed them to the wedding hall. After a short walk, the twins reached the proper place and went inside.

“Where shall we take our seats brother?” Oriana asked as she looked around at the people gathered.

The day has finally come. She opened the closet and looked at the clothes in it in despair. She knew that nothing in it matched the event. She thought desperately of her sister. She always saved her in situations like this. A flash before her eyes made her flinch. Her eyes fall on the bottom of the closet and the beautiful box her sister gave her a long time ago. She took the box in her hands and put it on the bed. In the box was a beautiful dressmade of green velvet discreetly adorned with tiny gold thread embroidery She quickly dressed and arranged her hair in a simple hairstyle. She looked in the mirror with satisfaction and went to look for her husband and daughter. Drakon was found in the living room waiting impatiently for them, and Stella in her room. She helped her with her dress and hairstyle by putting a silver didadema in her hair that she inherited from her mother. She looked at her daughter with satisfaction, thinking how fast she is growing and how she will soon become a real beauty.

Stela was thinking about clouds,
then about birds,
then butterflies,
then tree tops,
then leaves,
then bushes,
then grass,
then little foxes running around,
then small mouses in the ground,
then little dwarfes in their mines,
then her thoughts dug too deep,,,,
Mother was still doing her hair and making sure her dress fits her nicely her skin shines brightly yet not too brightly... It was finally done done all boredom was worth it just to see moms happy eyes.
It was Stella's first ball and on such great occation!

Smiling bit too widely for a good lady and holding her mothers arm Stella entered the ball room looking around at many many noble and brightly dressed people all around.

Nervous was not only an understatement, it was quite possibly the understatement of the century. Ella always struggled with being the focal point of others' attention, and being this was her own wedding that it was hard to avoid this. However, her betrothed had been amiable with her desire to keep things somewhat small and thus it took a tiny bit of the pressure off of the day.

Ella Blackwood had been granted a suite of private rooms to get ready within the northern estate of Wintercrest Castle. It was much more than anyone could truly need, but she appreciated the space and privacy to prepare herself. Servants loomed about, offering help and assistance at every turn which Ella was, of course, grateful for, however, the constant presence and eyes of the many was beginning to make her feel claustrophobic.
"Would it be possible to have some time to myself?" She suggested to one of the maids standing nearby. "I'm nearly ready now so I don't think I'll need any additional help for the moment."

"Of course, My Lady," the woman nodded and exited the room followed by the remaining servants. Ella let out a breath she hadn't realized she was holding when she was finally alone, glad to have a few seconds alone to breathe. Then there was a knock on the door and it popped open once again. "My Lady, the Vicerine, Lady Nikola, asked to see you before the ceremony."

"Oh!" Ella said, letting out a sigh of relief. Nikola she could handle, and in fact, she would be glad to have a friendly face before walking down the aisle. "Let her in, we've got a few minutes before I have to head down for the ceremony."

The day had finally come. Hidden away in the privacy of his North Fenshire estate the King Zuan Winterbourne would wed Ella Blackwood. The couple had been courting from the early part of the year and now as the years end approached it seemed fitting that they would be bound together as one in the form of a wedding. Ella had specifically requested that the ceremony be a more private affair, away from the bustle and the busy nature of the capitol and the cathedral at it’s heart. So instead the King had decided to hold the event with a small guest list at his own estate in the north. The coldest territory in Fenia, it was even more so now as winter set in, however the roads were clear and travel was good which ensured their guests would have little issue in arriving for the wedding.

Due to the small guest list and the privacy of the event there was not such a strict structure to worry about, and thus there was no rush for the King as he prepared for the wedding. He remained in his own rooms, with Ella having the privacy of the other wing to herself. Here he could sit in quiet away from the arriving guests and any commotion from the servants who were no doubt working their utmost. The only noise in the room was the cracking from the fireplace which provide a warm glow and heat to the entire room, even in this cold November month. He sat and contemplated many things, indeed how it got to this moment, however he was glad it had. Ella had brought new joy and happiness into his world, and he was glad that by the end of the day, they would share in that world together.

As the sands of time slowly moved on and the sun moved in the sky outside the window of his private quarters, the King finally rose from his seat and stood. He was wearing an intricate attire of black leather boots which featured silver stitching accents as well as pure silver buckles. His breeches were likewise a matching black which blended seamlessly into his leather doublet, which sat atop a pale silver silk undershirt. Upon his hands were a series of rings as well as those which reflected his status as King. Around his neck was a thick silver necklace which contained within it a variety of gemstones including rubies and obsidian. His hair was of a medium length, and his face freshly shaved.

Walking over to his cabinet he took from it a silver crown which sat neatly upon his head. The crown of silver had been forged into a thick band which had atop it two wolves which stood upon their hind legs, both of which were crowned and had rubies for eyes. Between their front paws was a thick ruby gemstone which glistened and glittered in the firelight. Finally, he took his black wolf cloak and threw it over his shoulders to provide him some warmth from the winter weather. The cloak was made of a wolf skin, and the head of the beast sat neatly upon his shoulder, the fangs curving inwards and the eyes likewise replaced with rubies.

Slowly he made his way down the stairs his mind never having been more certain about what was to happen. He had decided some time ago that he wished for Ella to be his wife, and by the end of today she would be. However the challenge was not for him, but for her. He knew of her doubts and of her fears, most of which were internalised through past struggles in her life. He appreciated the battles she had fought both internally and externally to get to this point, and was proud of her beyond what words could express. He could not help but smile as he thought of the idea of her walking down the aisle, radiant and resplendent as ever. Yet for all of her past struggles, he knew this would be just as much a test for her as anything else. To walk before the lords and ladies and take her place as his rightful bride and wife.

The King made his way into the grand hall which had been selected for the event, and he bowed his head in acknowledgement at some of their guests. However he remained silent and did not seek anyone out to speak with, preferring to keep to his own thoughts as the sands in the hourglass continued to drift away, time passed on, and soon enough Ella Blackwood would become his wife before the nobility of Fenia. Finding his mark at the front of the hall he stood there and gazed out through the large window which was placed at the end of the hall. The smallest amount of snow could be seen beginning to fall and settle upon the gardens outside, winter had arrived, and on this most special of days, it was a fitting backdrop for a Royal Wedding.

Nikola, worried about Ella, rose from her seat after squeezing Raef’s arm and excusing herself. “I won’t be long. Keep my seat for me, will you?” She gave him a bright smile, knowing she had not needed to say the words, but did so out of habit. She made her way out of the room where the ceremony would be held and found a servant to take her to wherever Ella might be. As they arrived, the door opened, and a line of servants bustled out of the room and filed past Nikola with small curtsies. She nodded in acknowledgement and approached Ella’s door, waiting patiently for the servant who had escorted her a chance to learn whether Ella was up to visitors or not.

When the servant returned and left the door open, beckoning her to enter, Nikola smiled her thanks and entered, the door closing behind her. Her eyes immediately took in her friend’s choice of gowns with its silver fabric adorned with a plethora of embroidery done with silver thread and silver pearls woven into the design. Ella was radiant and more beautiful than she had ever seen her. She knew Zuan would be delighted.

The expression on Ella’s face did not quite match the dress, however.
“Ella,” Nikola greeted her warmly and drew near to hug her friend, careful not to muss her gown or the veil draped over her head. “You look absolutely beautiful, and positively nervous. What can I do to help?” Her eyes lit upon a pot of tea left sitting on a tray. “Would you like some tea? Have you eaten anything yet? Can’t have the bride collapsing before she can recite her vows, you know,” she teased with a mischievous grin.

With a nod from Ella, Nikola glided gracefully over to the teapot, checking to make sure the tea was ready and still hot before pouring two cups. She took one and handed it to Ella and then took the other for herself.
“I’m happy to stay here with you until it’s time, or I can let you have a few more minutes alone before you walk down the aisle to become Zuan’s wife,” she offered and then fell silent, giving her friend time and space to think.

Izara was fairly certain she was late at this point, but she had lost track of time fussing over her appearance. This was a formal event so she needed to dress appropriately; however, she also needed to make sure she felt like she was herself. Finally she had decided on a dress that fit her perfectly. The gown was green and reminded her of a lovely coniferous forest.

She rushed to the destination, having been careful instructions on how to reach the northern castle of the King. Once inside she quickly found a seat for herself before she got in the way of the bride walking down the aisle.

As Napier was travelling with his offspring Lavinia he was thinking about his family.
A lot has happened in the last century and a half but in the last few years he has found his family again.
It took him a while and now he was able to find some kind of solace.

He has also found something that he did not count on and that was love.
As things got a bit complicated in that area he was mostly spending his time in meditation.
Time had no meaning to him so he decided to train his mind further.

The invitation from his little pumpkin was a shock at first. Eldridge was familiar with everything that has happened in Ella's life so he was cautious.
He was really cautious most of the time. The good in the creatures was visible to him.
He knew what kind of carnage he lived thru and brought upon others so Eldridge was always ready to act first and ask questions second.
Anything but happiness for Ella was unacceptable.

"I wonder what does blood of a King taste...", he found himself speaking in a low tone.
Lavinia just looked at him and shook her head.

There was zero chance that he would miss this event and he decided to keep low profile and not to attract too much attention.
His nature was already a bit of a burden so he choose simple and black attire.
Small crest of his house was the only thing breaking the monotony he had decide to wear.
A little bit of yellow.

As he was leading his great granddaughter under his arm he looked at her and felt pride to see what beautiful witch she has become.
He was eager to see the rest of his great granddaughters and their families.

"My little sunshine this is going to be a day to remember, mark my words!", he told Lavinia as they were near their destination.
