Her question was answered silently as the ring made its way onto her finger. She did not protest, deciding Neoma made up her mind - which would be impossible to change. So instead, their lips met for a blissful moment.
When Neoma began to speak again, it caught Anwyn slightly off guard. “New Years?”
The teenager thought about it for a minute. “We can make that happen. We have two Natsi that will want to help. It’s definitely possible.”
She was getting married. They were getting married! Excitement began to fill her chest. All doubts, all hesitation, was gone. The realization was sinking in and all she could feel was joy. She was marrying the person she loved, but never expected to be able to wed.
“Okay!! We have a lot to do in the next three weeks! I don’t even know where to start…. Well, I guess we start by telling people. Maybe we should talk to Ehsan first? If she’s behind us, everyone else will follow. And I can’t imagine she’d be against it, given her relationship and all.
