Ari hugged him back tightly, but her thoughts were on William again. It was the fact she didn't know if he was alright or not that really bugged her, that worried her. She did plan on trying to track him down later on... But she didn't know when or how. He had said the ring... But she didn't understand.
The girl pulled back from the hug and gave a smile. Tenderly, she touched his cheek. What if Will randomly just showed up? What then? But she shook her head ever so slightly to rid such thoughts. She was happy with Grim, he was all she needed; she loved him.
I suppose I should go and see what Jacob is up to. She pulled her hand away from his cheek and slid out of the bed. With a look over her shoulder at Grim, who still lay in the bed, she exited the room and headed towards the kitchen - which would be her first bet where a growing boy may be in the morning.
She smiled as she walked into the kitchen, seeing Jacob sitting at the table. Good morning Jacob. She yawned and set a kettle of water on for a much needed cup of tea.

Jacob had excellent hearing, even from where he was in the kitchen he could hear someone moving in the bedroom, he knew either Ari or Grim was up. He loved Ari, she was his sister, even if they had only known each other for a little while. The wooden floor creaked as she entered the kitchen and Jacob looked up. Morning sis, sleep well? he smiled, it was nice to see her he was glad to have met her. The morning light shining on her hair and face framed a golden halo around her as sunbeams danced and swirled giving it a surreal feel to him, making him wonder if he was dreaming again.

Sae yawns as she gets from bed to make breakfast she isn't sure if anyone is awake yet but she decides a nice breakfast would be good after the ordeal they had been though. She quietly tip toes from the room so not to disturb Valir. She scans the house for minds and finds that Grim, Ari and Jacob are awake. She sends them a mental message as she walks to the kitchen. "Well aren't we up early my dears?" She stops and checks on Sophie and Alaric on her way to the kitchen.

Jacob heard her soft voice echo in his head, he smiled, it was Sae, she wasn't that old really but she was Ari's grandmother of sorts and Jacob had instantly liked her. He liked that she could communicate with him by telepathy, he and his mother had done that because of the bond they shared, he thought it was the reason they did not show a lot of physical affection, because they were always linked and apart of each-other. He could always feel her presence, thinking about his mother though brought up all the emotions with it too, he resolved not to cry, but inside it felt like he was. He spoke aloud to distract himself as he said Good morning Sae. He sipped the milk, another distraction for him to take his mind off of things, he looked around at the kitchen, making mental note of things as he did so. Finally he asked Sae if she had slept well, for a moment he wondered what it would be like if someone did not sleep well and said so, as long as he'd been alive he'd never heard no for an answer.

She nodded as Jacob asked if she slept well whilst she shuffled around the kitchen, looking for something yummy to munch on. She heard Sae's familiar voice and smiled sleepily, replying mentally. Mhm.. Good morning Grams.
She yawned again, retrieving the whistling kettle and pouring the water in the mug. She stirred it, adding a bit of sugar, and sat down beside Jacob.

Miranda jumped to the side, out of the range of the swinging sword. With another dodge and a high kick, the sword clattered the the ground and she tackled her opponent to hard ground. She was on top of him, but only for a moment before he kicked her off. He jumped onto her in an attempt to pin her to the floor, but she rolled him off her, her on top again, and managed to pin him. They sat there panting for a minute, then Miranda got back up. He stood as well, spitting some blood on the ground. Not bad Orlando. She grinned, turning back to the man. She picked up his sword and held it out to him. He took it, putting it in it's sheath.
Yeah, well, Miranda, you got me this time-- But she cut in with a large grin, And last time. He coughed, narrowing his eyes at her. But I will get you next time, you just watch.
Miranda snorted and poured herself a drink, looking around. The hideout was in the mountains, surrounded by thick forests. It was a little cabin, nestled on a cliff. In the basement, there was tunnel that led into a natural cave within the mountain. It was the ultimate hideaway - away from civilization and isolated to itself. Though the cabin only had three rooms - a kitchen, family room, and bedroom - and then the one room basement, the cave was very large with various branches and tunnel systems. It was easy to get lost if you weren't paying attention.
Standing in the large, bland caveroom, Miranda wiped some of the sweat from her forehead and stretched, reaching upwards. The room consisted of some training equipment, racks of weapons, and a set of table and chairs, on which drinks were often available. She threw the bandito's shirt at Orlando and he caught it, mumbling a thanks. Her blue eyes lingered over his muscular body as he put his shirt over his shoulder and walked over to her. He poured himself a drink quietly. The bandita leaned against the wall, sipping her drink.
Someone came running in, and gasping for breath, exclaimed, She is demanding you're presence in her chambers RIGHT NOW. Miranda and Orlando looked at each other. With an understanding that RIGHT NOW meant five minutes ago to the Boss Lady, the hurriedly sat their drinks down, running out of the training room and started through the series of tunnels.
It's only been days since the failed attack. When Miranda and Orlando transported out of there, they landed safely in the eating hall, in the caves. A voice had rung through their minds shortly after, shaking with rage, which caused Miranda to frown deeply. When the two survivors delivered the news to the Boss Lady, they were scolded, screamed at, and fussed out. She was entirely furious. But once she calmed down, she begin planning again.
And now she was calling.
Miranda and Orlando pushed aside the curtains of her doorway, walking into the Boss Lady's chambers. She sat there, cross legged, on her bed. The Boss Lady was a small girl - she had the appearance of a thirteen year old, with long brunette curls, with big eyes, a hue between grey and blue. Her skin was an olive tone with freckles that darted along her nose and cheeks.
The young appearance often fooled everyone, for she had an innocent, angelic look to her. But in reality, the Boss Lady was hundreds of years old, cursed by her step father for her sinful acts ages ago. She was stuck looking thirteen, but it wasn't something that slowed her down. She still held very high respect and was very feared amongst the bandits.
I have a question... Can any of you tell me what this is? She arched an eyebrow, holding up a small cross that hung from a chain. Silently, they both shook their head. It's our victory.

Grim pulled himmself out of bed and threw a few bits and pieces on before emerging from the bedroom and making his way to the kitchen. He looked around the room and quietly snuck up behind Ari and wrapped his arms around her in a hug "Mornin' to you all"

Ari looked up when Sae walked in. Oh.. I don't care. Toast is always good. She stood up and went over to her adopted grandmother, giving her a hug. She kissed her cheek with a warm smile. She was going back to her seat, running her hands through her hair, when arms wrapped around her waist.
With a giggle, she turned around, pecking Grim's lips lightly. Good morning again. She took his hands into hers, just staring up at him for a quiet moment. Ari really loved him, so much..

Jacob responded to Sae's thoughts to him, Its nothing, just a dream. Grim came in and he watched the interaction between him and Ari. He rolled his eyes at the whole thing, wondering why lovers had to be so mushy with each other, he kept his thoughts to himself as best he could though. He smiled at Sae, he liked her, the presence she gave off, like that of a real mother, it made him feel better and sad at the same time. He thought I miss you mom... he really did miss her, he wished he knew why she'd broken the one rule she made him promise not to break. Jacob was sitting in a chair, his back to the window through which the sun was shining through, he was beginning to warm up already and it was not even seven o clock yet, it was gonna be a hot day today. Hey Ari can we go swimming this afternoon? Jacob asked.
