The reins that had remained slack in her gloved hands for the past day since crossing the Bravian border tightened as Rowena guided her caravan off the road immediately outside the town limits of Widu. Leaping down from the driver's box, Ro unhitched the borrowed nag from the caravan and made quick work of feeding and watering the horse from a nearby stream.



Yes, this would make a fine place to camp for the night. The lights of Widu glowed softly ahead - only a few minutes walk away - but she could rest from her journey safely here tonight without disturbing anyone. Tomorrow she would walk into town to see the sights in Widu properly before seeking audience with the Mayor. Tonight was for celebrating her brief journey's end, here on the outskirts of Widu.
