This is the second portal that leads to the Free Empire of Deltora, it is located in the forests of the City of Cork and can only be accessed by pressing the ancient Deltoran coding unlike the Royal Family of Deltora which can easily open the portals with their power.
Adonair, Willow and Pup stand in front of the impressive looking gate. Adonair is trying to figure out the language and what to do. He's not having much luck and looks to his companions for an idea.
Standing in front of the portal with Adonair, Pup and Max, Willow wonders how the door opens.
Looking at Adonair, she says do you know how to open the portal? When she realises that he isn't sure either, Willow looks at the language but since she can't read the language she is unsure too. Maybe its a key? But wonder whats the password is? she says out loud but not to anyone in particular.
Max wants to see too, so he places his paws on the disk and presses one of the stones by accident and it lights up. Max careful Willow says and then looks at Adonair wondering what Max had just done.
"Let's link hands... or paws," he added thinking of Max, "and try to walk right through it. It may be one way so we won't be able to return and it could possibly have two places to exit, only way to be sure we all end up in the same place is by linking."
Adonair reaches out for the girls and starts forward, trying to resist the impulse to close his eyes. As he reaches the portal static electricity makes his hair stand on end
