Wedding of Adonair and Willow

Arkie follows in the procession outside, and meets many of the folks who have attended, inviting them to come to her tavern, Bittie's Keg and Snack's Tavern, for the reception and to mingle.

She waves to Aleguar and Firechild and hopes that Firechild at least comes by the tav for a quick drink.

Pup, this beung the furst 'wedding she had ever seen, is one of the last out. But that doesn't seem to bother anyone, which is a great relief. She walks around somewhat awkwardly with her flowers still in hand, honestly unsure what she was supposed to do now, eventually comming across Arkie in the crowd. " this is fun! " she declared with certainty, staying by her friend as as not to get lost or miss a cue or something.

Hod stayed as still as she could while Amladris performed the wedding. She listened her bested to the ceremony, it wasn't like Kit and Betty's. She wondered when they would perform the sacrifice. Jon and Awena's wedding didn't have a sacrifice, maybe Willow and Adonair's wouldn't either. She sometimes thought non-orc customs were a bit bizarre. She was getting used to things that were different. She tried to pay attention to the ceremony, and not get distracted by Callie waving at everyone. She started getting fidgety near the end of the ceremony, shifting her weight from foot to foot. When Amladris told Willow and Adonair to kiss, Hod couldn't contain herself, she clapped excitedly and started jumping up and down. She was very happy they were married.

Hod continued clapping and jumping as the newlyweds walked back down the aisle together. As people began leaving the church, she went and found Benjamin, Luna, and G'gila who had waited on her. G'gila climbed on her shoulder, and hugged her neck. Benjamin said, "You and Callie were good flower girls." Hod led the group outside to see where everyone was going.

[Nathan]

Nathan watched and listened and held his breath. When both said their 'I do' and exchanged rings, it was done. He looked at his wife who looked on at the bride and groom, and smiled. Right then, he was tempted to walk over, grab her hand and pull them in from of the priest. He chuckled at the thought, catching her attention and mouthing 'Want to go next?'. He turned to his old man and spoke up. Congratulations, Father. Make and keep her happy.

[Alexandria]

Alex watches as her grandfather and Willow are pronounced husband and wife… you shall now kiss the man said making Alex gag. Kiss why?… why ruin a perfectly good thing by kissing? She would rather turn anyone that tried to kiss her into a toad. Or would she? How would it feel to be kissed? Would she like it? Would it be as gross as she thought? Yes, it probably was...it’s a good thing she isn’t being asked to get married, he would be looking at life through the eyes of a toad.

Alex snapped out her thoughts and followed the procession outside looking for her grandfather to congratulate him and Willow and to find her parents to give them a huge hug so she could run out and find Grayson. Maybe he wanted to go find some fun to wash her brain out… Kissing PLEASE….

[Adonair]

Adonair stood near the front of the temple greeting and hugging people. Arkie's tavern was just across the way and he directed them there so they could go to the reception.

By Cork custom they would be announced in public as husband and wife on entering the tavern so it would be best if the guests were already there and seated to hear the announcement. One table at Arkie's was reserved for the bridal party.

The troll shouted a congratululation when the ceremony ended ... or seemed to end.
He tried to keep up with the customs.
There were flower carcasses on the floor and only the most subdued wrestlings took place. Now everyone was going to Arkie's tavern... Logo wondered if the bride run be held there. It would be a real surprise to find humans so liberal. There had to be some other explanation.

On the way from the chapel, Logo replaced the wobbly bits of door frame, bowed to the marriagers-in-progress and stepped across the way toward Arkie's tavern.

Arkie hugs Pup, and waves again to all. She takes Pup's hand and says to Pup, Callie, and Hod, "Let's go to my tavern, we have to be there so Willow and Adonair can be announced when they come in. Alright?"

[Shion]

She smiled at Willow as she passed and walked outside once all the traffic from the church was gone. She saw the cute little kittens and knelt down to pet them. [/i] "Hello Kits, how are you?" She loved seeing them. "I'm sorry I've been away. I've just been so busy.

She stands up to pet Princess and jumps on her to head over to the reception.

The little ones purred as Victorious petted them, and Kel'a spoke for his sisters. "We's good. It's okies if you been busy. So have we. Mom bought a bakery an' I helps her in it making sweets. An' sisters help too. But they's not as good at cooking as I am."

"Yeah, but we better at magic, brother." Blaze poked out her tongue at Kel'a, rearing up on her hind legs and dropping on the brown male in a half-pounce. The kits gleefully rolled about in their playful roughhousing, while Serai and Kasumi continued enjoying the brief scratchies before Victorious moved off to join the reception.

Following Mom's scent, they found Shion just as she sneezed, a small globule of spiritual energy escaping and dissolving from existence. She muttered a curse and, thinking it better to avoid the risk of making others sick, waved briefly to her other friends, and chirped for the kits to follow her home.

[Callie]

Nodwin was pondering the idea of a hell dimension, realizing quickly that its training was sorely lacking. Perhaps he and Callie needed to find someone to start teaching them about dimensions? Or maybe just Nodwin needed someone so that Nodwin didn't accidentally take Callie into a dimension that would hurt her? It was something to think about, but not now. Now it was time to go see Callie, Nodwin could hear her little voice and missed her, even though they'd not been apart long.

As Nodwin headed over to the temple, Callie had finally made it outside, just in time to hear Arkie announce that they should go to her tavern and get there before Adonair and Willow. That meant finding Max had to wait, she couldn't find Max and get to the tavern before them, not in this press of people. She hadn't even had time to go say hello to Benjamin and G'gila and Luna yet. Oh well, that would have to wait till they got to the tavern too, wouldn't it?

Callie smiled a beautimous dimply smile at Arkie and said; obiekaybie. Callie go to tavewn now, bead majik man an Wiwwo der. It wasn't until she was walking (ok, ok...not walking, running) to the tavern that she saw Shion and Xeno's babbies. She hoped they would come to the tavern too, she loved playing with babies (she couldn't hear Shion telling them they should go home you see, so she can still hope).
