(ORP) Morghain and Lucifer's new Manor

[Morghain]

Some point further down the track

She'd been most disappointed when Cici had disappeared unexpectedly in the middle of her visit to their home. There had been no warning or reason for it as far as she could discern and she still had not heard anything more from Cici. So far as she could tell, her Mates Sire had disappeared from the face of the planet. For now however, she had preparations to make. When the sun next set, her, Lucifer and their entire household were leaving to travel the lands.

Since they had decided to travel, she had been carefully laying up supplies to take with them. She wanted to have the freedom to remain out in the wildernesses without having to on going back into towns all the time. Now she was dividing it all up amongst the packs, setting aside the most part for the vampires of their contingent to carry. After all, why should she not take advantage of their greater strength and stamina.

The air around the Manor was tense with excitement, the children had spent most of the day in the air around the adults head, too excited to spend much time on the ground. She smiled at them indulgently as they frolicked around the adults who were trying to prepare for their departure. It would be good for their young to see more of the world, there was still much for them to learn and she was looking forward to the freedom that came with being away from civilization. Being among civilized folk had become somewhat restrictive to her and she was greatly looking forward to letting loose the restrictions she had placed upon herself whilst she dwelt among people.

A small smile crosses her lips as she resumes packing, both her and Lucifer deserved this holiday and were greatly looking forward to it. It promised to be an amazing time for them both. Thinking about Lucifer had its customary effect on her. Laying down the items in her hand, she turns to take the stairs to search for him. So what if what she had in mind had the potential to postpone their leaving time. It would be well worth the delay.

[Lucifer]

Lucifer had made sure to pack his things very carefully. The blue things were in his favorite travel-chest, the shiny things were in the one there and the other things in that one. He has made sure to pack the bare essentials. Unfortunately Luc's bare essentials is rather large and full of unneeded things, but that was probably just the bird in him. He locked up his last chest and made sure they all were secure before ordering two of his men to transport them down to the Transport Cart that would accompany them.

Lucifer sat on his bed and gave it a little pat goodbye, he will definitely miss it in the rough slog he has ahead of him. He was considering have a quick cat nap before leaving but he smelt Morghain was near...and from what he could also smell she had a much better idea than just sleeping. He pulled himself quickly onto the bed in a seductive pose just in time to see a slightly disheveled Morghain swing open the door. "Oh, Hello..."

[Morghain]

A while after they had sufficiently distracted themselves from the process of packing and departure, Morghain lays with Lucifer on their bed. Her legs tangle with his as she lays on her side with one hand propping up her head, the other lazily traces the contours of his deliciously toned torso. Her face has a happily sated cast to it until she spots just what Lucifers definition of "just the essentials". Her expression turns to one of amusement as she turns her head to look at him. "My Love, we are flying in our travels with our household walking behind carrying much of our belongings, exactly who were you expecting to carry all that?"

She looks over to where her familiar travel pack is stacked in the corner. She'd packed it so that she had enough food for a ten day and a few trading goods to tide her over. She had the impression that the holiday and accommodation ideas her Mate had in mind were significantly different to her own.

[Lucifer]

Lucifer had planned the day meticulously, he had to to make this day all that it should be for his Mate. He had his men search around for places so magical their existence was only rumored of, to save them from destruction that tourism would bring. He had found one such place. He had managed to go a whole week of planning this event without speaking of it to Morghain which had been very hard, he couldn't even think about it around her otherwise she would know!

Lucifer's eyes snapped open as the light began to fade from the skyline. He knew exactly what to do and when. He quietly got up from his bed and walked over to the covered window, lifting the curtain and throwing himself out of the window. His wings stretched and caught a lucky updraft. Gliding gracefully through the sky he scanned the landscape until his eye noticed some movement not that far away. He swoops down quickly trying to startle the creature. To his pleasure he sees it is a Deer, perfect.

Loud, straining noises can be heard from Morghain and Lucifer's room as well as sounds of a deer struggling. He managed to haul himself through the stone window and landed on the floor with a loud thud, followed by the rustling of a struggling Deer. Lucifer jumped up to his feet as the Deer managed to get itself out of Luc's grip. "MORG! QUICK! I GOT YOU BREAKFAST IN BED!"

[Morghain]

The sound of struggle makes it way through her subconscious. When her mind figures out what is going on, she bolts up right, her hand dragging out the dagger that hangs sheathed to the side of their bed. She crouches defensively, waving the dagger around blearily, not yet completely awake. When it finally registers that Lucifer has dragged a deer into their room, she can't help but giggle. Especially when he announces that he'd brought her breakfast in bed. She bounces off the bed and makes her way over to her Mate. "Well thats sure real nice of you, Sugar. I believe that deserves a reward.

Stepping up to him, she engages in a rather passionate good morning kiss...aside from her hand, which dagger clasped within, makes its way towards the deers throat and expertly slices it, killing the deer instantly. "mmmmm....."

[Lucifer]

Lucifer grinned a bit lopsided until her lips pressed against his in a passionate embrace. He heard the sound of the Deer's life force spilling on the ground. He felt a little weak in the knees after the kiss ended and had to blink a couple times before he could think properly. "No problem, Love. You are free today right? I would love to spend some time with you" he said to her with a little smile, betraying the idea he wanted her to have that this was not planned. He heard the sounds of the litter beginning to awake"I will get tend to them, you enjoy your meal, Beloved" . He lent down to the Deer and tore a decent serving of its flesh off and carried it off to the room across the hallway, where the litter had claimed for their own. They had been growing very well and learning even better, Morg and Luc were so proud of their children...well, Morghain a little less so, especially since Azrael needed a fireplace in their room. He walked over to their bed and watched the snoring, but barely asleep, litter. He spoke softly to them, his Aeroyn accent becoming thicker when he whispered loudly since it was closest Secfenian came to Aeroyn, "Young ones, rise, as the sun has set and a glorious night is upon us. Feed until you are full and have an live your lives on this grandest of Days, as you have it to yourself as long as you stay within a kilometer of the Manor, and check with a Guard every couple hours. I am taking your Beloved Mother to places far and wide, exotic and magic, she will most likely be in a great mood when she returns so I suggest you ask for toys or treats then.". He carefully placed the hunks of meat down for the litter to gobble up, hopefully keeping them more or less full until they return home.

[Morghain]

As she watches Lucifer recover from their kiss, she can't help but feel a quiet sense of satisfaction at the way her responds to her.

"No problem, Love. You are free today right? I would love to spend some time with you"

She couldn't help the questioning look that passes over her face at his question. Not that it was entirely unheard of for him to want to spend time with her but as far as she knew, it wasn't a special occasion today. What was her crafty Mate up to? After careful consideration to try to remember if she had any pressing duties demanding her attention that day. Determining that she was indeed free

"I would be honored to spend the day with you, Mate."

As he instructs her to enjoy her meal while he tends to the children, a burst of appreciation trails its way down their mental link and she rewards him with a kill before she turns to partake of the kill he has provided for her. She had to admit, he was a very good father. She always appreciated it when he took part in taking care of the children. Giving him a quick nod, she steps over to the deer and crouches over it. Being in the privacy of their home and the first meal of her day, she doesn't bother to be too delicate about the way she fed. There was no one here who had not seen her allow her more feral nature free from its confines. By the time she is finished her meal, blood is dribbling down her chin and onto her chest. Both her arms appear to be wearing scarlet gloves up to her elbows. Blood has managed to splatter over the rest of her and a satisfied twinkle shines in her eyes. Having finished her fill, she drags what remains out the door, knowing one of the servants would come across it and either take it to the wolves, or have it stored for guests later if need be.

Looking down at herself, she realizes that she is far from clean. Poking her head through the door to the childrens room, she asks Lucifer. "My Love, would you mind if I quickly nip down to the lake to clean off?"

[Lucifer]

Lucifer watched admiringly over their litter as they more or less handed out their food evenly, of course the eldest getting the most and the runt getting the least, but still enough to live and thrive. He continued his ramblings about nothing and wondered if his young should learn Aeroyn and its culture. He was going to teach them about the warfare and all that but the culture itself? He wasn't sure. And what about Religion? He had a sort of Religious awakening a little while ago, not totally devout but fairly sure a God is out there - he had spoken to Luc after all. Should he talk about Religion has fact or have it open for interpretation. He decided to teach them the language while they had a basic grasp of Secfenian, that way he could teach his Mate as well.

While thinking of his Mate he got startled as she appeared in the doorway, absolutely covered in gore. His first thought was about how well blood suited her and what he wanted to do, but he managed to restrain himself and stick to the plan. "Of course, Lover, that is in no way a problem, just be back here within a half of an hour" he replied.

Once she stepped along he way he quickly ran to his man-cave. He had converted a corner of it to a small garden, full of black roses. Not only were they an important part of his coat-of-arms he also knew Morghain took a liking to them. He quickly bunched up the best looking ones and tied some string so they were in a bunch. He then ran over to another corner which was a sort of blacksmith/butchery hybrid type thing. He picked up a ring made of bone and blew away any excess marrow. He smiled to himself and returned to the Litters room to watch over them and distract him while he waited eagerly for Morghain. Tonight was going to be special indeed.

[Morghain]

Morghain nods her head in acknowledgement of his instruction. She heads out towards the Lake, flying towards the deepest part. Finding the best spot, she dives straight into the water from the air, cutting gracefully through the water. Coming up from beneath the surface, she rolls onto her back, enjoying the feel of the water sliding over her skin. The moon shines down onto her, making her pale skin appear more so. High above, the stars shine beautifully bright. What a beautiful start to the night it had been so far and if the look on Lucifers face was anything to go by, it would only get better.

Remembering that she had a time limit in which to bathe, she quickly takes care of all the blood and gore, and swims towards the shore. Once she is out of the water, she shakes the stray droplets from her, even flaring out her wings to shake every drop of water that would weigh her down and prevent her from flight. Once satisfied, she returns home, noting when she returns to their room that the servants had come along and cleaned up the mess she had left. She sends a brief pulse through to Lucifer to inform him of her return as stretches out on a bear pelt on the floor.

[Lucifer]

Lucifer heard, or more, felt Morghain return. He got up from a simple wooden chair and headed towards their Chambers. As he headed there he hid the flower behind his back and the ring in his palm. He tried not to smile as he headed towards their Chambers, trying to loosen up and make it look all natural. He opened the door with his shoulder and almost got entirely distracted by the pose his Mate was in. He had to blink a couple times before he could collect his thoughts again "Hey, sweetheart, I got some special things for you" he said with a smile playing at a lips. He took a few steps closer before revealing the ring and flowers "I made these for you all by myself!" he beamed proudly as he caught sight of her face.
