[IRP] The Den, The Pack, Shilough And Tala's Story:

Post by Shilough »

It was a warm spring day, summer was close by, flowers of various kinds bloomed in the yards of peoples homes, in fields and along the road at random intervals. Shilough was new to this place, he'd come into Secfeina by a very strange method from his home land, a spirit guide who took the form of a wolf. Over all Shilough was weary tired and missed his tribe, a tribe of warriors and people he led who admired and honored in their lives the ways of the wolf. Shilough's transition to Secfenia was not an easy one by any means, even now as he'd run across a lone wolf named Tala, and in short manner of time came to care for her as he did a member of the tribe he'd led.

She, like him was able to change at will, though there were limitations on her ability to do so, after meeting her in the tavern she'd accepted his offer. His offer had been to join his pack, she had been afraid, two packs wiped out, and it left Shilough wondering about the wolf society in this place, was it weak becasue of its culture or where there other means, questions he had yet to answer. Today was an important day, together Shilough and Tala would look for a den and then, though only a short time had passed, Shilough would ask Tala to be his mate, she was attractive and desirable in both forms, physically strong, she would be a good mate. Her weaknesses he felt could be overcome, his job was finding a good secure place and proving mainly for her for a while, earning her trust but he was sure he could do it. Shilough paced the road leading out of Imperious and into the woods, his grey wolf eyes looking and searching for Tala, waiting on her.

Tala pads along the road heading out of Imperius. It had been a long time since she had left her home having been taking care of her sick late husband Osgar for the past several months. Time for grieving was over and it was time for her to move on. as much as she loved Osgar and would always miss him he would want her to move on. She had met Shil one night in the tavern when she was grieving. He had turned her from her grief and reminded her that she was aloud to be happy. Her ginger and white fur moving around in the gentle breeze her blue eyes scanning for Shil. Seeing him she yips and bounds happily to him jumping up at him.

Seeing her run and bound towards him, made Shilough happy, in ways he'd not been happy in a long time. His fondness of her was quickly turning to love and desire to mate with her, even though only a few days had now passed. Shilough runs to her, he greets her excitedly talking back in wolf to her, Took you long enough. There was a grin in his voice, it said he'd have waited all day and still been happy to see her. Shilough pounces on her playfully, here he shows his acceptance of her and that he's not upset about her being late, in the back of his mind though, he's thinking about the den, he's already found several which he will take her too.

Tala yips at him and changes into a 5 foot 2 girl of around 20 with short ginger hair.

Hello Shil. Sorry for being late......

Looking away from him she swallows and turns a bit red. She didn't want him to be offended.

I stopped by Osgar's grave to talk to him. It is something I have done since he died.

She stares at the ground swallowing back her tears. She has promised herself she would move on and not dwell on the past. The other packs had been right about the nickname she had been given, "death" Unable to escape it she felt cursed that anyone she got close to would die. Her first pack had died, then her second pack and another blow was the death of her first mate. As much as she liked Shil she was standoffish and didn't want to get too attached to him for fear that he too would die and she would be forced to walk this land alone for all eternity.

After she turned into her human form, Shilough too changed, he had dark skin and long hair that was braided in the custom of his people. He had a feather sticking out of it, he had on a shirt made of the skins of animals from his world, the same was true of the dark colored pants and shoes he also wore. Shilough stood at 6'3 so just a foot and inch over her, he moved and took her into his arms. Here he spoke, his voice a strange accent from the tribe of his people, It is fine Tala, you should always remember him. Shilough gently turns Tala around so she can see into his eyes as he speaks the next part of what he has to say.

Tala looks at him blushing as she admires how he looks. Just the look of him made her heart skip a beat. After Osgar had died she didn't think she would ever feel this way again. This man from a strange land with the wonderful accent had repaired her broken heart. He was attractive and seemed to like her. She was very apprehensive around him for fear of his death or of losing him.

It was a perfect spring day for an outing, the weather could not be better and Shilough was glad for this as he walked slowly along the road with Tala. He said to her, I've found some dens to look over already, one of them is nearby. The den's had to meet with Tala's approval not just his own, they had be conducive to both small and or a large pack and to accommodate young pups as well as adults. They walked a while along the road, and occasionally Shilough would brush agianst Tala and grin, his way of flirting with her lightly. He was well aware of her sorrow and grief, he respected that, though he was very attracted to her, no one had moved his heart like this, not long since he was a human. A light cool breeze reminded Shilough of his days on the plains with his tribe, he missed them, he missed guiding them from place to place, they were a strong people.

Tala smiles noticing him brush against her each time he did it made her heart beat faster. it had been months since she had smiled and she did a lot of that around him. Each touch made her heart soar higher, she was falling in love with him. Shyly she takes his hand her short white dress flapping around her in the light breeze.

Shilough enjoyed the soft feel of her skin agianst his, she was small and delicate, perfect to him. In a way he felt they complimented each other already, and he was feeling many things that reminded him that he was indeed of the male gender. In fact to date, no one had ever stirred both his human and wolf parts like Tala did, and it struck him as odd that he should find so kindred a spirit in so faraway place. It must have been he thought, by design that the spirits brought him here for her and for the wolfs, for he knew they watched over a multitude of realms. of realms far beyond his understanding and control.

They came to place where off to the west there was a small trail, Shiloguh stopped and stopped her with him and said, This is the place we need to go. With that he changed his form from human to wolf, he gazed up at her, her skirt ruffling in the breeze again. Again the thought crossed his mind, she was desirable in any form, he knew she'd been changed for motives and purposes not pure. Yet Shilough had in mind to to thank the Mage that had changed her and given her human form, in doing so, he'd met the mate of a lifetime. His gray wolf eyes gazed at her, catching her eyes, wondering if she saw what he saw, if she knew what he knew, if she desired already what he desired, he waited on her to change so they could take the trail.

Tala smiles at him and changes into a wolf again. She begins to follow him, she could not believe his feelings for her. Watching him move as he lead her to the den spots. She admired his body the way he walked and was so graceful.
