[ORP] Wood Chopping Day!!

Victorious got the message from her Mayor that it was chopping day tomorrow and she had to think of a beverage everyone would like.

Now it couldn't be ale because we wouldn't want drunkards chopping trees, that could be dangerous but fun I suppose. She thinks that would be funny but not a good beverage choice.

She sets up a table near the forest for when they enter to do their chopping for the town.



She also sets up some chairs for people who get tired and want to relax for a bit to drink their klahua, a new drink that was made in the tavern.



She gathers all the supplies needed to make the drinks and sets them on the table.

She posts an announcement on the tree:

	Hello Citizens of Imperious: Today is Wood Chopping Day, we need as many choppers as possible and the winner will get a prize for the most wood logs cut. Please sign in at the table and write down the logs you have cut at the end of the day and the person with the largest amount of logs cut will get a prize from the Town Hall. Imperius thanks you for your support. Happy Cutting Victorious Imperius Mentor

Victorious woke up bright and early to arrive at the edge of the forest to see how many choppers would arrive for the event. She went to the tavern to make plenty of the new drink in the tavern called Klahua. We are still waiting for it to be officially served in the tavern but have high hopes that it will be. She gathered some twigs and made a fire so that the new coffee drink would stay warm for the choppers. it was still winter and you could see snow all over the ground and trees but Imperius still needed their wood and was hoping we had some generous citizens in Imperius to help us to gather some wood for the town.

She lined up the cups on the table and had several carafes of the Klahua already warmed up. She had made some nice pastries from when she was a baker back in the day and put them on the table as well.

She put the pad of paper and the quill and in at the edge of the table for choppers to sign in.

Good Morning Imperius Choppers:

It is a beautiful day today and I have prepared some nice pastries and Klahua to keep you warm while we chop for the day. I wish you all good luck in chopping and may the best chopper win.

Please sign in below that you are chopping today and then when you know how many logs you have chopped write it down.

Please enjoy the new coffee drink and the pastries that I have made for you all.

Victorious sits down to await the arrival of the choppers before she starts her daily routine of chopping.

She pours a cup of Klahua and is enjoying the new drink.

Leaving her small cottage, Scarlette grabs her heavy ax, electing to not try and chop trees with her longsword again. She makes her way out of town and down to the forest where everything has been made ready for today's event.

As she walks up to her Mentor she gives Victorious a nod of approval for how everything was set up and takes a mug of the klahua, drinking it straight and enjoying the bitter flavor and waits for other arrivals.

Victorious is drinking her drink when she sees the Mayoress arrive. She nods to Scarlette and is appreciative of her kind words.

Just doing my job for you and Imperius. Good luck to you today.

She pours another cup of Klahua and picks up a pastry while waiting for others to arrive before she decides to start chopping.

It was a long day chopping trees. Victorious had been disappointed that no one had showed up except for the Mayoress. She hadn't heard anything but maybe they had entered the forest from a different location.

She had finished chopping for the day and put her name on the paper with the amount of logs cut that day.

	Jan 09, 1652 5:00 am: You have chopped 9 wood from the forest of Imperius (using your plain axe)

She cleaned up the area and folded up the chairs and table and put them in her carriage. She left the paper, quill, and pen just in case anyone wanted to sign in. She put her axe away also.

She fed Princess some oats and then hopped on the carriage and rode home.

Scarlette also signs her name and how many bushels she was able to get.
