Teide smirked wrapping the books one by one into a soft silk scarf for transport to protect the ornate covers. She gently brushed the black cover of her own creation. Bound in werewolf skin leather and bound in silver she had specially written and captured the magic of the volume into golden laced pages. Looking up at Bill with a smile as genuine as fools gold she answered,

"Oh I guarantee you'll learn abyssal but as for effects there are no such thing. You're faith should be strong enough devoted."

Her words were slightly mocking as she smirked. She wondered how much faith one could have when the dark crept upon them.

"The beginner's guide and table of elements will teach you step by step everything you need to know for basic alchemy. You can even use alchemy against the adverse effects of black magic."

Bundled up she pushes them forward, "That will be a vial of your essence as the price."

Aed walked around town for the first time since he started living in Widu. Besides the being the tavern he is rather to himself and also lives at the edge of town away from the crowd. He walked pasted Teide shop. He couldnt help but smell a few smells coming from the shop. Smell he hasnt smelled before. So he got a little interested and then there is the little competition with Anessen. Well not really a competition cause no one really agreed to it as they were mostly joking around. But no matter he was going to get a nice and beautifull beard one way or a another. And he was certain Teide could help him with that.

So after standing in front of Teide her shop for a while staring inside and thinking about if he should go in or not, he opened the left door and stepped inside the alchemy shop. Still looking around at all the wares. He walked up to the counter and looked at the shelves filled with all those potions as he waited for Teide. He was almost certain Teide had already noticed him coming in, she is rather good at that and seeing he has no way to block it she always noticed. He should remember this place though if he would ever need anything more serious.

Grazilda was given a detailed description as to what she was about to look for. Teide told her where was it located, so she felt like an authority and barged in Teide's shop.

She was thankful that the door was not small. At least she didn't have to duck on the way in. It was not that she was tall. In fact, she was shorter that most of the people around her. But at least she was not less than half the height of the majority. She moved the curtains carefully and lighted a lamp. It did not help that the room was dimly lit. She wanted bright light so that she can see the room clearly.

She wrinkled her nose at the odor of the shop. There were a lot of unusual things or creatures in the shop so she didn't bother to poke around. She headed straight to the location that she told and picked up the item.

On her way out, she unconsciously stepped on a book with her shoes hitting the lock. She walked without realizing that her heel narrowly missed a sharped set of teeth ready to devour her flesh.

"May I help you two?"

Came the voice from the behind the tapestry. A large woman came out wiping her hands on a rag. The crude oil smeared over the dirty bleached out cotton. She had golden green eyes and blonde hair. In the middle of the summer she was not the most modest of woman nor in any way slight. She stood at 6'3 and looked like she could swing a two-handed axe or hammer if she chose. Still she was attractive but the thin line of her lips did not make her look at all friendly. She looked down at the small woman and gave a twist of her lips.

"Watch where you're going in here!"

She growled at the little woman and picked up the book she stepped on. Maria placed the book on the shelf and went to the pot where a potion/recipe was stewing. She had instructions to mix up a few batches for an order down in Fenia. As Maria stirred the pot she looked at the woman then the man and muttered out what she was supposed to say.

"Welcome to Tricks and Giblets. I'm Maria, your helper so to speak. The Butcher Shop is closed unless you want the other, other, other white meat then write down in the ledger what you want, whole or in pieces. The Mistress is out of town right now but we have what you want...maybe I'll check our inventory book if we don't have it...too bad. Now what do you want? I'm busy and don't have time to babysit you if you walk into one of the man-eating items around here."

Grazilda was on the way out when she heard a voice. She turned and looked at the towering woman. "I am Grazilda and I came here to pick up this monstrous illustrussometing, whatever this is called. I had specific instructions from Teide to pick this up for her and bring it back to her in Cork. Nice to meet you," she said and waved good bye.

She frowned. Teide never mentioned anything about another shop. But she was sure that she was not told to purchase white meat.

She looked at the package at hand and raised an eyebrow. She stuffed the thing inside a metal box just in case it had some teeth that might destroy her backpack. "Behave!" She ordered the item and waved a threatening index finger at it, assuming that the object somehow was actually alive. Then she placed the metal box in her backpack and left.

Maria watched the woman leave and then turned to the man who was still standing inside. Quick and to the point was something Maria preferred. Grazilda...Maria would probably have to make a note of that in case Teide did not send her. Maria could hope she'd get to do something exciting...more so than mixing potions, counting inventory, minding shop and mill in her absence. It was a full time job just taking care of the house and managing the fields...she didn't get paid enough...but better than no pay. 5'3 human, brown hair and eyes. That was about as generic as you could get. That description would do nothing to help if she was a fake. She turned her attention to the man. The fellow seemed to be looking at all the grotesque little items stored throughout the shop. She gave the stew another turn and slipped the wooden spoon out, tapping the grub off the side.

"Now she's gone honey what do you want?"

When Aed finished looking at the grotesque little items and giving Grazilda a small wave as she walked outside and then looked a little startled at the big woman. Not really expecting someone else then Teide. He then look slightly up as the woman was slightly bigger then him. She looks like a strong woman not just big tottaly opposite of Teide. "Hello, Im Aed He smiled at the big woman and walked up to the counter a little closer now. "Im looking for uhmmm..... A bear growing spell or potion. Nothing to fancy nor lasting." It sounds kinda wierd saying it out loud. But he was pretty sure she could help him. Though he wondered if what it would cost.

Maria looked down at the man. Her golden green eyes seemed rather bored. “A bear growing spell?” she raises an eyebrow as that seemed a little odd and she shakes her head, “Sorry we don’t have any bear growing spells. Go hunting for you want one so badly unless you want a fancy summoned bear that lasts a couple minutes.” She goes back to stirring her stew seeming to ignore him without saying good bye but as she mutters she tries to understand what he was talking about but then it occurs to her that he might mean something else.

“Oh you mean a BEARD spell….you have a strange accent. Make sure to pronounce it like this….BEER-D…..foreigners.”

She muttered as she checked the inventory book and it pointed her to another book. She went to the shelf and pulled out a wooden book and opened it up on the counter for him to see. It was not really a book but a hollowed out case. Inside there was a line of small vials different colors. Above each vial was a picture of the cute of beard each vial grew.

“Each vial is 20 silver. Now choose what you want then leave.”

Note: Maria's accent is like a Portuguese accent

Looks up slightly at Maria looking in her bored eyes. He thought it was funny guess that doesnt count for everyone. He chuckled when she started talking about a bear and hunting then shrugged and slightly turned around still looking at all the potions and what not the shop has on all the shelves.

Looks back at her when she started talking again"uhhh a BEER-D. Yeah thats it" He shrugged again thinking it sounded the same just differently pronounced. Then looked down at the wooden book as she opened it. Revealing a line of small vials. He looked at the pictures and studied them a little to make a good choice. Looking from left to right and from right to left. Until he made a choice and smiled.

"Ill take that one" He pointed a the one he wanted "Yup thats the one I want. Im sure Ill blow peoples minds with that one." Then takes out a small pouch with coins and takes out 20 silver coins laying them on the counter.

Travelling fast was the only advantage Anna-Molly had discovered so far about being a ghost. It took her little time to find the town of Widu. The Tricks and Giblets shop Teide mentioned was harder to find. Anna-Molly floated through the unfamiliar town, looking left and right, and floating straight through those creatures on her path that didn't seem to notice her anyway. Some of them shivered involuntarily after she passed through, but she was too busy looking for the shop to notice it.
Anna-Molly met Teide in the Mysts tavern. She was one of the few creatures who could see and hear her, and even more importantly, she was the first creature able to touch Anna-Molly after her death.
She wailed hollowly, thinking again about the day she died. Several creatures on Widu town square that were more sensitive to her presence turned their heads, and some even winced.

It had only been a few weeks ago. Anna-Molly had been a typical attractive and outgoing Leesburg girl, all ready for the big yearly harvest feast. Her friends had been so jealous when they heard the handsome Brenn had agreed to go out with her. They had agreed to meet at the park entrance and Anna-Molly arrived early, not wanting to risk missing him. She wandered through the park to pass the time and watched several people decorate the park with large cantaloupes for the harvest feast.
And then, the warning had come too late. Anna-Molly could still remember it clearly, the warning shout and the pain that followed immediately after. But the pain didn't last long. She got up and looked around. "I'm ok." she said to the gathering crowd. But no-one responded. And when Anna-Molly finally looked down, she saw her own body, limp on the floor and partly covered by the juices of a broken cantaloupe.
She had screamed, cried, tried to attract the attention of the crowd. But they either couldn't see her, or were too distracted by the dead girl to sense her presence. She followed her body as they carried it out of the park, and desperately tried to grab at it, move back into it. But to no avail. They passed the park entrance and there she saw Brenn, looking around impatiently. And for a moment, she was torn between following her body and trying to get Brenn's attention. She chose the latter.
"Brenn!" she yelled. "Brenn, it's me!"
But he couldn't see or hear her. He only looked more and more impatient. And when another girl passed by, and passed by again, stealing glances at the lone young man, he eventually nodded and smiled. And then they chatted, and not long after they left for the harvest feast together, leaving Anna-Molly behind as if she was, well, invisible.
Anna-Molly had spent the following days following her family members around, and all of her friends. No-one noticed her. She floated around her family's house, crying continuously. She attended her own funeral, cried harder than all the others that were there, and cried even more when as the weeks passed by, her family and friends carried on with life, without her.

Anna-Molly had left Leesburg soon after. She wandered into the depths of the Myst, where normal girls didn't come because of all the scary stories their parents told them. Stories of wicked people and worse who roamed that place.
She was lonely, and floated straight into the tavern when she first noticed it. And that was where she finally found some creatures that were able to see her. Wicked creatures, but Anna-Molly was desperate.
Teide was probably the most wicked of them all, the way she emerged from the floor covered in dust, and eating spiders. But the woman could see her, even touch her, and she was nice. She offered to help her if she'd come to her shop. Anna-Molly wasn't sure about the kind of help she was hoping for. She couldn't simply be brought back to life the way she used to be, and the last thing she wanted was to be turned into some kind of monster. No, Anna-Molly was looking for some sort of help, but her main reason for coming was she wanted to be Teide's friend. She wanted to someone to chat with, someone to nudge, someone to hug.

There it was, finally. "Tricks & Giblets imaginarium: Butcher Shop and Alchemy"
Anna-Molly floated towards the door and hesitated. After she died, she had floated through doors and walls as there was no point in knocking. But she couldn't move through Teide. Maybe she couldn't move through her door, either.
She tried to knock, but her hand went through the wooden door. Sighing, she floated inside and looked around.
