Finance Minister
Contents
Basic Description
The Finance Minister takes care of the money and inventory of the viceroyalty. They are able to buy and sell goods on the Viceregal Fair (to the other towns in the kingdom), give grants and checks, and monitor the goods desired by the peasant towns.
Inventory
Here the FM can see all the goods in the viceregal inventory. From there goods can be placed on the Vicerefal Fair or in grant bags. In addition, from the inventory the FM can convert gold (which is mined) into frenzics.
Viceregal Fair
The fair is bascially a market between the towns and the viceroyalty. The FM and the mayors of player controlled towns can put up goods on this market. This is one easy way for goods to be moved from towns to viceregal inventory and vice versa. In addition, the peasant towns also use this market to purchase any goods they desire. The FM has the ability to see which goods are most in demand and can put them up on the market for the peasants to buy.
Grants
The FM is able to create grants, put items or money in the grants and assign them out to folks. This is a great way to empower merchants in the kingdom to go shopping for the kingdom. For a more indepth guide on how to use a grant, please see the Grants tutorial.
Audit
This section displays the revenue streams such as minting (converted gold into frenzics), sales, wages, etc.
Checks
Here, an FM can cut checks out for the inhabitants of the kingdom, either as rewards, or to pay back purchases on behalf of the kingdom, etc. Each check requires 1 Piece of parchment to write. A check is valid for 90 days.
Peasant Town Desires
Here, an FM can see the goods that each peasant town in the kingdom desires most. It is important to keep tabs on this, as putting these goods on the VR Fair will ensure the peasants purchase them quickly, creating a revenue stream for the kingdom.
