The Viceroyalty of Kiene spans the lower left and right side of the continent of Secfenia. Its capital is Widu.
History of Kiene
The Viceroyalty of Kiene was originally part of the Viceroyalty of Fenia back in ancient history. The families that were in this region of Fenia were typically in quiet opposition to Fenia's Monarchs, but knew their place in the Fenian world. When Fenia started using written laws and a constitution, they rose up in ranks and participated more and more in the government. The split factions were not very obvious during this time period as compromises were made to encourage stability.
When the Union of Secfenia was created, many residents in this region of Fenia prospered. However, when the Union changed to the Empire, many in this region in Fenia became less and less represented. A state of fear for the basic needs started to wave throughout the land. With increasing paranoia about the people in this region by the Emperor, numerous people ended up missing. Some people wondered how long things could continue this way. The answer was not long enough for the Empire.
The sacking of the capital of Fenia was seen by many in the region to be a glorious event. Being semi-superstitious, they vowed to never made the same mistake and their capital was always named different than their national name. They tried to restore government in their local area using some of the Fenian style they were familiar with while adding in their own flair. Unfortunately, their tradition of government led to several conflicts and eventually into a period of tribal divisions that led to their dark age.
As Kiene awoke from their long slumber, Spirus rose up from the ashes to rebuild their government. The sun has risen up high and begs for people to come forth to help guide their new vision for the future.
Present Day
After a bitter war, the player run Kienne Monarchy was dissolved. The city of Widu went to Fenia, and the city of Cork went to Bravia.
